this app has taken their already successful model of purpose through generosity to an entirely new level with Purposity! I just gave it a test drive and met a need for a kid in my city. Worked flawlessly! I recently had a conversation with a social worker friend who uses this app’s powerful network to help meet the physical needs of those under her care. She gave a glowing review! It’s been a real game-changer for her and her colleagues. Needs are met quicker and logistical hurdles have been removed. It’s such a good feeling knowing I’m helping meet real needs of kids in my community.

I find so much fulfillment in this app. I’ve been a user since this app was web-only (before Purposity existed) and Purposity makes it even better. this app finds real needs in your local community and allows you to meet them with a few taps. No more sending money to place you’ve never heard of, or through layers of bureaucracy that shave off the top. The thank-you messages I get back from social workers and recipients are awesome. Download and find more purpose in your life today!!!

It has been tremendously exciting to see the difference that is happening within the state of Idaho. this app is the tool that has provided the ability for members in the community to be aware of local student needs. This application is community engagement and as an Idaho State Department of Education representative, I cannot recommend this app enough to school districts and communities throughout the country. It is an honor and a privilege to work with Dr. Jamie Rife! I look forward to meeting all our future community engagement goals with this app!!

I love Purposity and love helping out. I’m also glad that I can now donate to this app to help them continue. What I don’t like is how the “optional” donation button is already set at 15% and is a very slight shade different from the other options, so you can barely tell what’s selected. It almost seems like it was designed that way, which is unfortunate coming from a charity organization. These tactics have no place for a charity organization. Hopefully, this was done unintentionally.

This is the easiest way to help others. In a busy world, Purposity intersects my life with an opportunity to do good once a week. We can do a doctors appointment from our cell phones, but have no idea if someone 2 streets over has food to eat or clothes to wear. With this app, that changes! With millions of people using this, there won’t be a need in our communities we can’t meet.

I love Purposity! It connects me with a list of folks and their specific needs, making donating a breeze. Today, I won a Super Bowl pool. I popped open Purposity and was able to share my good fortune with several others. I’m a sucker for kids in need of books or clothes but also enjoy helping fill a new home with cooking utensils or bedding.

I received an email from support. Apparently they had a bug and apologized for the problem and refunded my account and fixed the issue. I appreciate their response and owning up to the problem.

I donated and set up for meet 10 needs. So I donated to my first “story” money taken from my bank. I log in a few days later and Purposity says you haven’t met anyone’s needs yet please help. It keeps asking for money!!!!

The transparency of knowing what and where your donation is going is game changing. But this app when another level by partnering with agencies and school systems to verify that the way to help those in need will actually HELP! Wow! Not to mention then reading the follow up story after is a beautiful way to restore optimism in the lives of all humans. This truly is a new way to be generous in our generation.

I love the idea behind this app, so I was excited to see that Purposity is now available. Signing up was super easy and it was simple to browse the current needs in my area. I look forward to using this platform as a way to help others in my community and I can’t wait to share it with my friends.

It is important for me to help others in our city. Purposity is the easiest way to know my gift is going to a neighbor who needs the support now (not eventually). Purposity gives me control of where I can be generous. Makes me feel good to know that with a few clicks I can make a big impact with a modest amount of money.

this app is one of those ideas that you hear about and you either think “wow why didn’t I think of that?” Or “that will never work”. And then you log in and see that your community has met more than 1000 needs for real people in your area using an app and you become a believer.

This would be great if you could design this with veteran needs in mind . So many veterans need help with a variety of things and most are too proud to ask, but if others could get the word out we could repay them for their sacrifices !! Would this be a direction Purposity could take ?

There is no way to control credit card data that Purposity captures and stores. There should be a permission tab like most other apps have. Contact/Feedback is impossible through the “whiteboard”. No one ever answers questions.

Also, the cost associated with listed needs seem high and the items requested are sometimes vague. Doesn’t seem to be a lot of transparency. It seems direct giving is a better way to go.

Purposity bad mission are great! I love the idea of community and individuals coming together to make a real needed difference. The only reason this isn’t five stars is the buggy app. The organizations I follow don’t show up so it makes it hard at times to discover needs. Otherwise fantastic work.

this app has allowed me to give back to my community and feel connected the people that I’m able to share with. And now, Purposity makes it even easier than ever! Thank you, this app!

this app combines today’s technology with the needs of local people in need in our communities. I love that it’s super easy to see a need and be able to help out and fulfill that need through Purposity !

Super streamlined way to help out people. You know exactly what you’re purchasing, why and where it’s going. Plus, I love that needs come directly from nonprofits I know in Denver working with people.

I am SO HAPPY to find this. I’ve been wanting something like this for some time now.

It won’t let me sign up- letting me there is a network issue. How can I resolve that?

Jumped on picked a local organization and donated. Very simple process with pragmatic format. Definitely recommend.

Love the idea. I opened app and tried my password. After realizing that I could not remember my password, I am not stuck on the screen for forgotten password. I can’t go back or advance. Help?
