Love the idea, since with other lists my family had difficulty with the receiver seeing that a gift was purchased. TheChristmasListApp is just too hard to set up and figure out. Keeps glitching and we’re constantly having to restart TheChristmasListApp , and at times even our phones. Everyone needs a separate profile set up and we all struggled with sharing. I’d prefer something easier to use.

I was really excited about TheChristmasListApp, because I wanted to be able to share my kid’s wish list with grandparents, aunts, and uncles. I was drawn to this one, because it allowed me to add links to any online store. Set up was easy, but anything after that is so frustrating. After trying in vain to login to TheChristmasListApp through my mobile web browser (the free way of utilizing the service) I purchased TheChristmasListApp . Again, set up for that was fine, but don’t ever log out. For three days now, I have not been able to log back in to TheChristmasListApp and it is. It because I am using the wrong password. TheChristmasListApp has so much promise, but ultimately is just frustrating and a let down.

We have multiple kids and we decided to use TheChristmasListApp to provide a way for our kids to communicate with family their lists..

All was well until TheChristmasListApp allowed our kids to automatically add each other’s lists without permission from the user that had them. This allowed our kids to see everything they were getting for Christmas.. TheChristmasListApp does not work when it comes to families..

Whoever designed TheChristmasListApp hasn’t actually used it. Simple things like editing your name is impossible and you have to “discover” how to edit others names. When someone sends you their list why push them to the browser when TheChristmasListApp is installed? Did no one think of this? Adding items using the URL works in TheChristmasListApp but not in a web browser. For sync to happen you have to log out then back in. Seriously just tattoo your list on your face and have someone else read it. That would be easier.

The website has some serious flaws and I wouldn’t create an account for one of my family members but at the same time didn’t error out to tell us what we were doing wrong. The links to share a list are simply a copy paste and don’t always work right away. Adding lists for people will often duplicate them during setup. What they need is the ability to add a list for someone and then merge it with another list when that person creates an account. Either way, TheChristmasListApp is far from polished.

I downloaded TheChristmasListApp . I took the time to enter all of my people and their pictures. Once I finished my main screen had everyone duplicated. Ok. It was a free app at this point so I deleted the duplicates. I forgot someone added them. Once back to that main screen, everyone was gone except the most recent addition. I wasted all that time. Deleted TheChristmasListApp immediately.

I really love the idea. But there were constant bugs that caused problems. My Immediate family consists of 31 people. the 20 adults all downloaded TheChristmasListApp and followed the instructions. Almost everybody had problems uploading links, or adding to their lists using links and/ or manual descriptions and it wouldn’t update and show they had nothing on their lists. Then days later we would see them and there would be duplicates. We ended up not being able to use TheChristmasListApp and it was frustrating. Overall the concept is great if it was more user friendly and easy to navigate without the bugs.

Fun and user friendly. I love that you can paste in the website info and it posts a photo and the price of the item you are thinking about. The only thing it is missing is a way to check off on the main page that the person is complete so you make your shopping faster and ensure you get everyone.

Collaboration on what to get who for the holidays is a difficult task I've watched my family struggle with for years. I've previously administered web apps trying to help and it's a bit of work to keep it updated season after season. I applaud TheChristmasListApp but there is little support if something does go wrong. Well worth a coffee or two, thank you to the team running this.

I love using TheChristmasListApp and this is my second year using it with my family. One thing I noticed is that it will let me delete an item on my list even though it’s been claimed. My mom asked why their was an item missing that she had claimed for me. Suggestion would to have a feature to not allow the user to remove from their list.

I just downloaded TheChristmasListApp and so far, I love it. There are a few features I’m not sure exist within TheChristmasListApp and could possibly make it better. Being able to categorize or move an item within the list, have the ability to add a priority tag, like low, medium, high, and lastly, to allow the person receiving the list to filter on it by price. Other than that, I’m super excited to use TheChristmasListApp. Thanks

Our family used to share paper lists or email threads and spend a lot of time comparing notes and hoping to avoid duplicates on Christmas Day. Using TheChristmasListApp streamlined the process and we can each claim gifts. Have used it three years in a row.

TheChristmasListApp is very easy to use and makes sharing your list a breeze. Easily mark items purchases and keeps those purchases secret to the person the list is for but make that purchase available to others. Highly recommend.

This is the 2nd year my family has used TheChristmasListApp to help with Christmas shopping. What a huge help this has been! TheChristmasListApp is really easy to maneuver and I love the functionality of being able to claim a gift for someone. It eliminates any duplication of gifts. Love it - please keep it live for next year!!

It’s exactly what I was looking for in a Christmas list app. My family all makes lists and then people can mark what they purchase without the person knowing. It’s especially perfect if you have kids everyone wants ideas for!

We’ve used this for 3 years now. It’s the only app we could find that you could secretly add to someone else’s list, secretly claim gifts, and was easy to use. The sweetest family runs it too so we’ll always support them. Merry Christmas!

My family got bigger after being married, sibling getting married, split parents, and lots of chaos. This was exactly what I was looking for and it’s very easy to use. It took my parents some coaching to figure it out but that’s more of a them issue.

I love TheChristmasListApp because it helps me see families christmas lists without the hastle of having to ask for them! Definitely makes christmas a lot easier and it’s a fun way to bond with family!

I really enjoy TheChristmasListApp. I have used multiple Christmas gift trackers but this is by far superior. Even though I do not use the feature, a nice thing you can do is share gifts to family and friends and they can claim what gift they will get you without you seeing who is buying it

Nice app for getting Christmas list info connected to the whole family. Add items by just copying and pasting the link. Others can claim items as well. Great tool

The only thing that I would have liked TheChristmasListApp to do is to not let the sender of the list see if items have been bought for them yet. They won’t know who got them but they can still see someone did. If you are looking at your list in TheChristmasListApp it doesn’t show that someone bought anything so that is really nice.

So far I like the ease of use of TheChristmasListApp and the fact that it is for ages 4+. I do wish TheChristmasListApp had all of the features of the online version.
Some suggestions: (1) add an option for making links directly be shared to TheChristmasListApp when on a website to save time instead of having to copy and paste the link. (2) add a link within TheChristmasListApp to the web version. (3) add a link back to TheChristmasListApp in TheChristmasListApp Store so we can share TheChristmasListApp with others more easily. (4) add event dates to list so we can have an idea when the list may expire.

Not only does TheChristmasListApp help me stay organized, I stay on budget. The customer service is also amazing. I had a question and the team got back to me right away.
