Stop the notifications

Please please please stop sending me notifications. I have attempted to use the settings to disable notifications. It’s been over a month since I change this setting but I still keep getting notifications. I have tried to submit feedback about the issue and it’s still happening. I wasn’t going to write a review because I want to support local coffee shops. I think this app can help them with a consumer base who has become accustomed to ordering ahead or ordering on an app for everything. But today was the day the app went overboard when they sent me a text message. I have never signed up for receiving text messages from this company nor do I want to. Be aware of whatever information you give this company because apparently it doesn’t matter how much they intrude on their customers. Please stop all the annoying notifications I do not want to receive.

A bit too needy

The app works well enough for ordering coffee, but it seems to have this incessant need to bother me throughout the day with notifications that I’m not interested in. This annoys me so much that it actually prompted me to write this review. I want notifications for when my coffee is ready, but I could care less about anything else. It would be nice to have a way of choosing which notifications are enabled. Additionally, as an iOS app developer myself, I’d say the app feels more like a web page wrapped inside of an app rather than a native app. (Perhaps it’s the scroll bars on pages that don’t need them? Things just don’t seem to “fit” very well like I’d expect from a native app.) It could use some work in this regard, but overall it’s functional and effective. (I would probably rate the app 4/5 if not for the notification issue.)

Love this app BUT..

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I’m having trouble connecting with the owners through the “submit feedback” option in the app regarding issues that I’ve had and am having with this app upgrade. It’s very frustrating that I’ve only gotten an initial response via email from Nick, but after requesting further explanation, I’m all of a sudden “ghosted”. I would hope that it’s an upgrade glitch, and not due to the owners ignoring my concerns. If it is in fact due to an app glitch, it might be something you want to fix ASAP. I’ve had the app for years and only now am I having issues. Just curious, for those who have left reviews here stating the issues they’re having, is something actually done to remedy the problem?
