Awesome!

I really do love this app. The anonymity is empowering and makes it easier to put yourself out there. I can think of a couple things that could improve the app, but it’s kinda great in its simplicity. I’m gonna list a couple things, but honestly even as is I am pleased with the app. My biggest wish is that they’d give you more characters for your ad (and a character counter would be helpful too, though not necessary!) Obviously you don’t want like whole essays for an ad, but just a couple extra sentences worth maybe? I’d also love to see an area on your profile for like a mini bio, but I wouldn’t mark down for that bc I understand the app is based on old school newspaper personals and the idea is not to have those. But maybe just a spot for your orientation too, or what kind of relationship you’re in/want? As a queer ace that’d be cool so people could see right off the bat that I’m not interested in sex (bc there’s not always room to include it in my ads :’( Okay wait, I did just think of another thing—it’s a little hard to find your messages at first, I didn’t even know how to check them for like two days... 🤦‍♀️ But again! This is constructive criticism bc I still do love the app! Thanks devs! ❤️

An app that’s actually free of straight male chasers

This app isn’t treated as a game unlike other apps. It’s a very slow burn and I love taking the time to think about what I want to post in an add. I don’t feel rushed to match or go out with anyone. I feel like I can take the time to like someone over a long period of time just through the adds they post. Hopefully they like the romantic things I dream about too. I also have the freedom to develop a relationship with someone far away. It’s also from what I’ve experienced free of chasers who tend to harass folks like me. Instead I can seek out someone I could connect with who is also wlw.

Safe and Welcoming — Comment/thread Feature please!

This is the first queer social/dating app ive ever felt comfortable using !! I adore the idea of missed connections and texted based posts for this community. I also love the ability to link instagrams and edit pronouns however we want (she/they for me). My one suggestion would be to enable a comment or thread feature. I think this would be particularly helpful for when someone posts a question asking for help in terms of coming out or safe bars etc. This way many different people can answer and others can see the responses and learn the information for themselves. For example, someone just posted about National Coming Out day and how we can support each other. This post would be even more powerful if people could read each others responses and interact, forming an even closer community. Thank you for this app and for considering improvements !!
