Here is an app where the ugly come to hide behind its text based appeal. However, now there is an option to add a profile pic and it is a much needed update since linking to an external zuckerballs social media company just to see who a person is, while needing to add them as a friend there just to bypass their stupid profile picture thats not them and then to actually see whether or not this person is someone id like to see irl, its just not worth it. There are a lot of snowflakes asking for reparations who arent bipoc. Lots of people talking about random reddit trans intro type stuff i dont really care about. Lots of just gross sex stuff that im not really expecting to see but sort of get assaulted by. Just a horribly thought out app thats run amuck. No filters! so i block people. Ive blocked everyone at this point. Screw trying to meet anyone here for dates! There are angsty posts that shame for not being a poly queer person or not being trans enough or enby enough or progressive enough blah blah

Downloaded it to see what the hype was about. Upon logging in I somewhat filled out the profile and questionnaire and post a message to get the idea and feel of things. I ended up banned because my profile and or post was “reported by the community.” I didn’t insult anyone in my post nor threaten nor objectify etc… I literally stated facts and was genuinely asking a serious question. Anyway unless you enjoy dictator fascist type outlooks and being actively censored you’ll love it. For me I couldn’t get away fast enough. These people are no better than Twitter. So I’ll consider my brief sojourn at Lex a blessing because I’m allergic to hypocrisy and censorship as well as fragile pathetic people that feel pronouns are something that need to be required 😂

Since Lex is based on a geographical radius, users near to you will always pop up. Unfortunately for me, there is a user nearby to me who constantly posts about their hardcore kink, which I don’t want to see. It’s not judgement - I just don’t want to see it. I see this person’s posts every time I open the app, they make me nauseous and upset, I close the app. I have tried blocking, I’ve tried reporting, nothing works. I’ve reported the bug, I’ve suggested the feature, I’ve heard absolutely nothing back from Lex. Incredibly disappointing. What’s the use of a block feature if it doesn’t work? Lex, why don’t you care about your users?
