If I could give EdulogParentPortalLite zero stars I would but unfortunately that isn’t an option. EdulogParentPortalLite has not worked properly or the way their video on their website suggests it should work. Real time tracking to means the location of the bus should update regularly...even if it is at 5min intervals. However, I have seen it stay in one place on the map for over an hour and physically seen the bus drive past my home while the map is stating it’s still in a location from 40 minutes prior. That not real time tracking! Glad I am not being asked to pay for an app that doesn’t work as promised. Yet, I’m sure I am paying (in taxes) for the equipment needed on the busses and whatever other fees may be associated with the district partnering with this particular company. I would love to know what the cost for the district actually is and know where they are finding the money for this, since there are more useful things I can think of that would benefit our district.

EdulogParentPortalLite used to be really helpful but the it started having glitches and it is an hour behind I have tried updating it reinstalling it and making a new account I still have the same problems and I know other people that also have the same problem so I recommend they fix what ever is wrong soon before it gets more bad reviews.

It stays in place for about 10-25 and it’s annoying. I keep pressing the vehicle info to see if it moves but nothing works. I repeatedly exit EdulogParentPortalLite to see if it does anything as well and it really doesn't.
Not surprised Framingham blessed every parent with a bus app that doesn’t work, yay yay.

I don’t know why the Virginia Beach Public School system would even use such a horrible software. It tells me practically when the bus is here while it’s literally pulling up to the stop. What good is that?? Bad software. I’m surprised because the technology is out there to offer much better!

A programmed a bus, the school must have gotten rid of it, and now it shows up in a city 3 hours away and since it isn’t assigned to my school anymore it won’t allow me to delete it or “turn it off” because it doesn’t show up at all under my school district. Tracking info must stay the same, however I can’t delete it now. Super annoying.

EdulogParentPortalLite needs some MAJOR updating! It is never accurate and it’s way off! Stays at the same location for over an hour and barely even updates the location. I would rate it a 0 if possible.

When it works, it’s a great app. However, three times this week I either got long delays in updating the bus location or no update all. On Monday morning this week, the bus update still showed it’s last Friday location time stamp. Today, there is a message in EdulogParentPortalLite saying it is experiencing technical difficulties and to have my kids at the bus stop at scheduled time. So, I guess it’s back to the more reliable street cam for us.

One day last week the Edulog app never showed my child’s bus leaving school. After she was dropped off, EdulogParentPortalLite still showed the bus at school.
Please add a feature in settings to allow for a mileage radius in settings. When the bus passes our street, which is almost a mile from our house, we receive an alert, but the bus goes down other streets and comes back to ours. That is a good 15 minutes later.
Just to update my review, it’s been over a week and my child’s bus has been out of commission due to a bad transmission. Has EdulogParentPortalLite updated the bus number? No!!! Wish I could give this ZERO stars now.

I really wanted to like EdulogParentPortalLite! I love the idea behind EdulogParentPortalLite, but it needs some serious work! I can’t see the bus approaching where I live and how my house is set up, so this was perfect for us to know when the bus would be arriving. Problem is, the bus is usually stuck somewhere and it doesn’t update for a few days. It’ll work for a day or two, then it’s stuck again. Developers really need to work on EdulogParentPortalLite more before releasing it.
Update; noticed it really glitches with weather. Complete waste of space on my phone. Still no fixes, and I’ve had this since the beginning of the school year; it’s now nearing the end of October. Complete waste. Don’t bother downloading.

My kids school switched to EdulogParentPortalLite for some reason. The response time is ridiculous, it’s not live, it refreshes and is VERY delayed. I get notifications that the bus arrives in my set radius 3-4 hours later!! Are you kidding me?? The school used Here Comes The Bus preciously and it was spot on EXACT and notifications were real-time. Now why can’t EdulogParentPortalLite be like that one? You kidding me? It’s 2019 and we all have gps on our phones. What’s the issue?? If I had to pay for the full app, will it be more accurate? No way I’m wasting money to try that. Why is that even an option? Seriously?

EdulogParentPortalLite was a good tool for me to use when I first got it, but for some reason it deleted all of my bus routes and the district I had been assigned to. Can y’all fix this glitch?

EdulogParentPortalLite used to work great, but lately it has only been showing me where the bus is at 5am (when it is parked) which is really no help. It no longer alerts of the current location of the bus, or when it enters my set radius. EdulogParentPortalLite would be very useful otherwise.

There is not enough contrast between the white words in the blue background. For people with low vision we cannot read EdulogParentPortalLite. It is very frustrating. There needs to be plenty of contrast between the background and the words that we type or read.

EdulogParentPortalLite was working great for us, but when Apple put out update 14.2 the notifications stopped. Bus tracking shows accurately, but no more notifications when it enters the alert zone.

Needs sound to go along with the notifications. When kids are getting dressed in the mornings it’s hard to watch your phone and app. It needs to make sound.

I like EdulogParentPortalLite , it is useful to see when the bus is getting close. I wish I could delete alerts—I accidentally set up two alerts for my bus and so I get two notifications every time the bus gets close.

Works great in Virginia Beach. Shows very up to date info of the buses within about a minute or two. Great when you’re waiting at the bus stop with a kindergartner!

we installed this to track our child's bus and it Has been working very good with the GPS updates and tracking the school bus within the radius' we setup in EdulogParentPortalLite .. The only issue I've seen thus far is we do not get the notifications, so this portion is still a work in progress... I give it a five star because of the fact that the GPS reliability is great and I can see the movements of the bus from our home to the school and vice a versa...

If it wasn’t for EdulogParentPortalLite I would have been waiting almost 45 mins wondering where my kid was… EdulogParentPortalLite allows me to know where his bus is and when it’s going to be here. I have it set to send a notification when turning into the neighborhood which gives us time to get to the stop without excessive waiting. Totally love this and think it’s very very helpful!!

They’ve must have made a lot of updates to the technology on the buses because my child’s bus is now correctly tracked to the second almost everyday. Makes getting home to meet the unpredictable afternoon bus foolproof.

This thing is a great idea but not accurate. For example the last reading it shows where my child’s bus is, is at 3:09 and at the school. Well it’s 3:26 and the bus is here. Def cannot depend on this.
