I would think twice before disclosing so much of your kids’ personal information to a company that isn’t truthful in its advertisement. Someone connected with this company posts on Moms and Dads Facebook groups often recommending BrightParenting with a post that reads “I don’t remember who in this group mentioned BrightParenting, but I love it! I just wanted to say thanks!”. The same post has been posted in several Facebook groups (I’ve counted 10). When confronted with the truth, the advertiser says “why do you care so much? You seem angry” instead of coming clean.

Knowing these predatory and disingenuous practices, I wouldn’t dare giving my kids’ info to BrightParenting. Had the advertiser been honest and simply stated “My friend developed BrightParenting and I love it. You guys would probably love it too” would have resulted in a different reaction from me and many outraged parents on Facebook.

It looks like a free app but after day 2 they make you purchase a subscription or otherwise everything becomes locked. I’m quiet disappointed.

You need my kids’ names birthdays and gender to offer parenting advice. Nope. Not gonna happen. Totally unnecessary, I could just as easily provide age ranges. Not selling you my family info.

Gender choices are limited to boy/girl but if your child is non-binary you cannot create an account. Very disappointing.

Every parent at some point has wished their child came with an owners manual. Well here you go. It’s a pocket manual with a quick reference guide and tech support (coach guidance), lol sort of.
It’s so helpful to be reminded of parenting techniques I forget to use. Having it in my view is preventing parenting ruts. BrightParenting has also allowed for better communication between us as parents. When we are communicating together to her and the three of us are all on the same page, the tension in our household melts away. It really is amazing that something this simple can be so effective.

BrightParenting is invaluable! The daily practices are my favorite bite-sized tips on the small things that make a HUGE difference to help be be a better parent. and honestly, they remind me that I want to be a better parent too, and can.
It’s also great and all too rare that the tone here isn’t fearful or judgy - just good solid practical suggestions of easy important things

I am so grateful to have found BrightParenting. It can be very difficult parenting a child with ADHD. BrightParenting provides an easy platform to gather some tools to navigate through different situations. Thank you very much for creating it. I will spread the word to other parents in a similar situation.

Bright has such practical and usable lessons and advice to tackle everyday parenting challenges. Also helps that the lessons are so real and funny! Love how it also gives you those gentle but direct nudges. I find myself looking for the daily notifications!

So far the tips have been quite useful even just as daily reminders to get the outcomes we want with positivity rather than all negativity. Its been quite helpful. I am pleasantly surprised.

I love the little daily reminders of how to be a better parent. And they always seem to be relevant to whatever is happening in our lives! I highly recommend.

Finally a condensed parenting guide that is easy to implement into my busy life. I love getting the golden nuggets of wisdom in little manageable tasks.
