US news, can't change region; no notifications?

Disappointed that the app defaults to US-based for the news while the commentaries are UK-based, and that there's no way to change the setting and see UK-based news. I do not wish to be viewing detailed US news like what the President has just done or said hours ago. There also doesn't seem to be notifications. This is itself bad, though it's at least a relief that I do not need to be bombarded with US news.

Very Bad

This seems to be a random assortment of old articles from an excellent publication. The newest offerings are a week old and many highlighted articles are months old. I can’t believe they charge money for this.

I should be able to go on line anywhere in the world to read articles, and yes I should be able to read them also on my computer if I log on! I can’t........
