I know this is going to fall on deaf ears. this app is a great app and a very successful one at that. I’ve used this app for over a year now and I’ve had a wonderful time using it. But there’s this annoying thing called the feature page on Voisey . You get a lot of exposure when you’re featured. It gives you the opportunity to be heard. But the fact of the matter is that the same people are put on the feature page all the time. Over and over. Not just once everyday but a number of times back to back in one day. Then it’s sprinkled with only a few people that actually need the exposure. There are very talented people that really put themselves out there and spend a lot of time making song after song in the hopes that they can get featured so that they can be heard. Unfortunately I’m one of them. I’ve gotten exhausted so I don’t spend as much time making songs anymore. They have their pets that they give the most exposure to, but the claim is that it’s some type of algorithm. The other problem is that because they give all this exposure to a select few, it’s caused unnecessary beef between people. The features go to their heads and they act like they’re real life celebrities. I know you can’t get everybody all at once. But you can’t get everybody at all if you keep putting the same people on there, several times a day, everyday.

I’ll start by saying that this app is a great app. But for some reason lately the software makes your voice sound out of tune when I know in fact that I am on key. I don’t know if this is a glitch from updates but it’s frustrating. When you EQ your voice the the filters make your voice off key. Early last year 2020 during the first quarantine in March Aprilish it only did that every once in a blue moon but all together everything was working fine and it was fun creating. However flash forward to now it’s no longer fun creating and being inspired when the software is not as responsive as it once was. Hopefully this issue is corrected eventually bcuz Voisey has a tone of potential. Other than that this is a very awesome app. Thank you this app team for delivering such an amazing app. 🙌🏾

So I reviewed this such a long time ago and I’m still experiencing the same problems. For some reason when I turn auto tune OFF everything is alright but the minute I turn auto tune ON (to tweak things a little bit )even if it’s just a bit the pitch is completely off & It sounds awful. I’ve noticed that this pitch issue occurs with A great deal of the songs that I’m choosing to sing over. I’m not sure if anybody else is STILal experiencing this problem but it’s very annoying.

A new more annoying problem that I am experiencing is NOT ONE of my videos will post/ upload. At first I thought that it was an Internet connection problem but I tried to post them at my job ( which has awesome Internet connection) and still it won’t work. I recorded about six songs last week and all of them were deleted .Would really appreciate some communication on whether or not this is a bugs that is in the works of being fixed

Let me first say that Voisey is awesome! I really enjoy collaborating with other great artists and singer/producers. So much talent! Now let me get to the point. The new support chat feature needs to be more free form when it come to users stating what we really need to talk about. Those preselected choices doesn’t work. The feature page response that you give doesn’t match what we see and hear in Voisey . There are certain artists that get featured ALL the time! Doesn’t matter if the don’t post for weeks/months. When they come back, there next post gets featured. I know it’s hard to feature everyone’s videos but when you see the same people get featured, it’s kind of hard not feeling some kind of way about the process. My last feature was over 370 plus videos ago! Not to take away from others, but I know I post some worthy features! We all want to be seen. I get it. But it has to be a better way! I know I’m not alone in the frustration when I’ve been on Voisey for well over a year now! I’ll probably never get featured now. I would have posted this in the chat section but you can’t.

Overall, Voisey is awesome but in my opinion it still needs a few updates and tweaks. First and formost you get notified every time someone you follow posts something. So you’re getting a lot of notifications about others and not necessarily filtered interactions toward you. Also Voisey kind of runs slow but maybe it’s because it’s fairly new . Another downside is that it also drains your battery quickly and sometimes processing the vocals and video takes longer than usual. Sometimes I wish there were better filters for the video affects too but it’s ok. Otherwise I love the variety of beats and sounds you can choose from... I can use Voisey all day.

Voisey is amazing. The this app community is extremely talented and IF you follow the right people, they can be very supportive. The songwriting and vocalists/rappers that I’ve come across have the potential to be stars. I would have given 5 stars for the rating, but the one thing that bugs me is the feature page. The SAME PEOPLE make the feature page everyday...day in and day out. I could name 5 people right now that are guaranteed feature page status DAILY. Where is the variety? Very rarely do I see any gospel/Christian, alternative music or rock genres represented and what the heck determines feature page status? I follow some amazing talented people who have thousands of followers AND likes and have never been featured. I understand that EVERYBODY can’t make the feature page, but why is it always the same folks that do make the feature page? Either way, I love Voisey and I had almost forgotten how passionate I am about music, until I discovered this app. Thank you for helping me reignite my passion for songwriting/music❤️

I think that you guys should make people record longer because some people want to record longer songs like when I record my songs my song is so good that I want to make them into a whole song using this app but I can’t because you guys can’t make full songs so can you update it where you can make full songs like when you tap on a beat only shows half of the beat like can you guys make the beat longer like the whole original beat longer let’s say that I picked a Beat and it was only about two minutes long and it was half of the beat I want the full beat and to record the full song

Love Voisey, but I might be the only one with this problem but it’s major to me. EVERY morning when I’m in my activity log preparing to listening to the artists that I’m trying to catch up on, the log ALWAYS starts me from last recorded person in my log instead of starting where I left off. Since I am behind quite a bit, it takes up a quite a bit of my time scrolling back to where I previously stopped listening. It may seem small to some, but when you are behind by a few months, one spends quite a bit of time getting back to that spot. Even if I put Voisey away (and leave it open in my phone - it’s ALWAYS opened) and come back to it a couple of hours later, I will still end up having to scroll ALL the way back to where I previously stopped at. VERY frustrating. Other than that, I love Voisey and tell people about it all the time. If you guys could fix this “small” problem, Voisey would be amazing. Thank you in advance.

Voisey is great and I love it. However if you are a song writer be careful what you put up here. The user term agreement states that all the content you put up ceases to be yours by owner ship and that this app partners will own all the copyright. Voisey affords awesome potential but just know they have the ability to strip your melodies and lyrics from you and re distribute it or sell the idea to another artist. I’m not saying they would do that, they very well may not, and would contact you instead. With Voisey becoming more popular there are also possibilities Voisey can afford you in terms of career goals, monetization, and fan base. They even have a history of offering to help an artist Olivia knight record a single. Just be careful with your hard work and lyrics. That’s all I’m saying. But I do recommend Voisey. If a developer sees this maybe they can clarify upon what I’ve said

Seems like a very cool app, but it wasn’t very easy for me to figure out where my videos went after I recorded them and saved them. Something may have been wrong on my end because they weren’t showing up in my profile (eventually they did), but in that moment I was very frustrated because I thought I was doing something wrong. Hence, why I think there should be an option for “how to use this app” when you first download Voisey .

I also think the ability to record a cappella would be amazing. Some of the beats available don’t match the vibe you may be going for and with the option to tune your voice up, you could make some pretty bomb a cappella clips.

Last thing I’d suggest is to have the option to change the pitch of the beats you record with. I’ve found nice beats but the key it was in was out of my range or wouldn’t work for what I had in mind to do.

Please add a option for saving custom voice filters for future videos. Wish we can adjust the video a little more or make it look more entertaining with zooming in and out or other effects. It takes way too long to save and a lot of my best videos didn’t get to save because Voisey froze, other than that I’m addicted to Voisey!!!

Edit: I wanna add I wish I can write in Voisey my lyrics because while I’m recording I can’t always remember the word when I freestyle… I want to just read the words from the screen in Voisey … it won’t let you record and go to the note section in the iPhone. I don’t always have paper to write and remember my songs.

First off, I love Voisey! It’s really fun to use and with every update comes better content and more fun! I only have a couple suggestions that would make Voisey even better!

- Export quality: This may be for certain devices, I’m not sure, but export quality is really low with filters and none filtered videos. If we could get better export quality options that would be great!
- Better filters, more options, ability to manipulate intensity of them. I’ve also noticed that if you do the quad screens, the previous videos definitely degrade in quality and colors are significantly different from the original drafts.
- Split screen: I think it would be cool to have templates to be able to record more than one video in a single session, instead of have to wait around for just one to process at a time.
- Ability to have loop variations. Loop producers upload many loops that go together, but only being able to use one of them for one this app is a bit frustrating. It would be awesome to be able to use multiple loops to have more variety.

These are just a few suggestions that I have for Voisey ! But other than that, thoroughly enjoying it! Please keep up the great work! I love Voisey!!

this app has literally replaced all of my other social media. I fell in love with it from the very first day and I’ve been hooked ever since. this app is fun for any type of musical ability AND for any type of sharing that you want to do. Whether you want to write original songs and perform them to any of the WORLD-CLASS beats available on Voisey , or you just want to dance in your kitchen; Voisey is for you. I’ve even seen someone pick a beat and record some of their kid’s basketball game to share!! Also, I know that some people don’t enjoy social media because of the negativity. this app has somehow created a community that is supportive and kind!! I’ve been on Voisey for almost 4 months now and haven’t even SEEN a troll or one negative comment. Everyone just loves each other and with such a GIGANTIC community, that would be difficult but not for this app! There are hashtags like #voiseyfam and #supportsundays. No matter your musical ability, this app is the best app the be on. Come and get creative with us!!! Sing covers, originals, dance, play the kazoo!! I love making voiseys and maybe I’m worse sounding than I think, but I have been on cool voiseys with other people but never have I been on the feature page. That gets frustrating because not everything I have seen on the feature page is the greatest. But I am sureOh there are plenty of this app’s that never really get seen by people at the this app studio because there’s so many voices to get made every day. I understand that could be an issue also. Like I said it’s just a little frustrating.

I’ve been in and around the music industry since I was little. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA so I know what it looks like to glean and learn from different artists from around the world and building lasting relationships. But NEVER did I think I would accidentally find an app that has allowed me to not only be as creative as I want to be but to also connect and collaborate with singers, musicians and producers all around the world and still build those lasting relationships. I downloaded this app in April 2020 with intentions of just using it to pass the time and to be a creative outlet during the beginnings of coronavirus quarantine. It quickly became much for than that! I was introduced to a whole community of singers, rappers, producers, and artist who just wanted to express themselves and their art. We also found comfort in the fact that even though we were quarantined, our voices could still be heard, and we weren’t alone. It has become much more than a music app. It’s a community. I have made so many connections with people all over the US and even internationally! To those serious about music, I say, stop limiting yourself and download Voisey already. To those that just do this for fun, I say, THIS IS SO MUCH FUN! Download Voisey.

Let me just start off by saying Voisey is amazing!!! I NEVER sound good singing, especially in recordings, but Voisey somehow makes me sound good singing without making my voice sound fake like the way auto tune does. That’s pretty cool. The rest of Voisey ’s pretty cool too, but I could see room for improvement. For starters, it’d be neat if we could write lyrics down somewhere and then read them while we sing into Voisey . It’d also be nice if we could submit audio files from our phones into Voisey , but maybe just for private use that way no one has to monitor the files to make sure they’re good. I think a feature like that would be good because some people may want to sing to their own songs without publishing them on Voisey . It’d be nice if we can turn down/off the volume of the backtrack so that we can listen to the vocals as well. Other than that, I can’t really think of much to improve this amazing app! Thank you so much for making it!!👍

this app is an AMAZING app & though it could potentially be an easy discourager (If you easily give away that much power/intention) towards feeling invalidated in the art you create on there, but resist from being too caught up in the madness. Create because you love to create, not to solely be posted to the featured page & you can’t go wrong. I’ve had my account for a little over a year now & only just had my first feature 3 months ago. I neeeever expected to be on there because of the amount of amazing talent on there but when I saw it happen to me I was nothing but grateful that such an app even exists. Not to mention the people I’ve met on there have been such a breath of fresh air in comparison to other platforms. It’s definitely replaced a large chunk of wasted time scrolling on Insta, Facebook etc. overall it just feels more purposeful for me personally. I LOVE Voisey & am appreciative to the creators who came together to form such an amazing online experience. Thank you guys!!

I’ve been using Voisey for several months now, and as both a singer and producer, I’m loving the experience and the this app community.

Although I am still hoping to see some upgrades such as more video/voice filters, and perhaps a better way to trace down an original this app using the splits feature (like a “reverse search”).

The “Featured” page really puts you out there and gives you some good exposure. I still haven’t had the honor to be featured, but I enjoy the various selections, they inspire me to be more creative and hopefully, with the support of this app, build a bigger audience.

There are various unofficial groups, and I really think this app should consider making it more official, like maybe a group feature, where a leader officially registers his/her group on this app as long as they maintain a certain amount of members and a reasonable number of group projects on a regular basis.

Of course, these are all suggestions I am hoping this app would take into consideration, or at least as a compliment, because this truly is a great app and I want it to keep evolving.

Voisey is so glitchy I can’t even finish my songs or save them without Voisey closing out on me, also sometimes I can’t even click on songs they don’t load. Its frustrating because this is such a good app and I would for a bunch of glitches ruin it.

Not sure if it’s an glitch but I try save an recording, it doesn’t save? This is only 1 beat that has happened. it possible the producer can block you from using their beat? Other than that, it’s an cool app
