Inaccurate and no updates from the developers

Geekbench used to be a great app that I would use to compare the performance of all my devices. Now scores on the same device differ greatly. On my iPhone XR, the scores are almost 50% lower than when I first ran the benchmarks in iOS 13. I just don’t trust the accuracy of this app anymore. Plus the developers never update it to fix bugs and update the database.

Does absolutely nothing that you can’t find by looking at your iDevice’s technical specifications. The numbers this app generates are random and not specific to your device. As evidence, run the tests twice in a row without opening or closing any app in between. You’ll get vastly different numbers. It’s a gimmic. Junkware

The point of a benchmark is to be able to compare results against other devices results. It's pointless to give me a number on the results and see how it compares against other devices.
