🏷️ About: PatientKeeper’s mobile app is designed to support physicians’ clinical workflow and provide them with anytime, anywhere access to aggregated clinical data from disparate backend systems. The app overlays the existing hospital systems, allowing physicians to access clinical results, view enterprise PACS images, enter orders, enter charges, and perform other clinical workflows from within a single app on their iPad or iPhone.

Should have left it alone

The newest version is a lot less user friendly. The graphs, in particular, are useless for following trends. They display a whole bunch of bunched up values from way way back, then a whole bunch of bunches up values from current, then one line across the graph. Have clicked on every menu and it does not appear fixable.
I would have kept the old version but got a message I wouldn’t be able to use at all if I didn’t update.
I’d suggest you guys revert to two or three versions ago and then take a vacation.

Crashes

Crashes consistently. Have to clear cache consistently for list to load properly Admission order sets a mess and will not load properly in mobile. From the patient’s side. The discharge paperwork generated is disorganized and confusing for patients. A frustrating EMR for physician, nursing and patients.

Awful

Doesn’t refresh patient list, doesn’t load current patients, doesn’t find patients in my group even after searching them. Just horrendous app

Unable to look up patient info

Since last update I cannot look any patients up. Reason for adding pt to the list is blank.

It’s fine

We have had patient keeper in the hospital setting now for several months. At least once a month, CommurePro will not refresh at all for several days, and many times when it’s supposed to be up and running, there is information such as nursing notes, labs, etc that have not crossed over. As someone who frequently works weekends, this is frustrating as I’ve had to wait (at least at my facility) until the next open weekday to have it addressed and hopefully rectified. This is our portal to be able to look at records from home as well, so when getting calls from nursing staff, etc or trying to follow up from labs that were ordered prior to leaving the hospital, it has become somewhat untrustworthy to provide this service.

Poor UI/UX

Among other problems, CommurePro constantly has unwanted pop-ups that get in the way of the work you are trying to do. I am so sick of having “are you new to CommurePro” pop up whenever I’m trying to add a patient. (Been using PK for years). Interface is overly busy. Not intuitive. Takes numerous steps to perform many simple tasks that could be done with 1 click. Clearly whoever designed this has app has never used it themselves for the intended purpose.
