Last year Dart switched from card payments to phone app payments. Between my husband and I we had previously purchased $68 in Dart fares for seniors. At the time of transfer to the app it was not mentioned that the money on the app had an expiration date of one year. Therefore it was shocking to me when I used the app this week and was told I had no money. When I called Dart I was told the monies had expired. This she claimed was written on the ticket??? As a 71 year old,The bus drivers were always helpful in figuring out how to use the app the few times I rode the bus. Therefore there was no time to read the small print on the ticket. Question? Where does the money go when it expires. Hopefully to some worthwhile charity. If not, why don’t you just let us old folks enjoy our trips on the bus and eliminate the expiration date.

After this update , it kicked me out my account and my 30 day bus pass is gone and so is my account with it that I’ve been using. I tried to look for it using any of my possible emails that I have and none seems to show my bus pass. I’ve contacted the customer service and still no help. I keep getting oh there must be another email when I only have the 3 emails. Also I gave them my bank statement of the purchase and nothing. I have to get to work , I need my bus pass back.

I’ve used a valid debit card with plenty of money on it as well as a valid credit card as a backup to see if there was problems with first card but the same error message popped up continuously on multiple days several times that I tried to purchase a pass. Very disappointed with the app, I have to go into the store or to transit center just to get passes and it’s very inconveniencing. Please fix this problem.
