Completed a ride. Hours later when I open the app it shows the driver photo and name and a statement in bold text “on a trip with xxx xxx” the drivers name. Can’t clear it or get rid of it……

The app won’t let me enter my phone number because it says I’m miss the required ‘POST’ field ‘device_id’

App does bot work

Too glitch;, just use Uber. You have to either verify your identity either by entering a credit card or logging into facebook in order to get a ride (even if you want to pay for the ride using cash). EVERY time I tried to verify my identity using my 4 credit/debit cards, the app gave me the message “Your card is not valid”, so I couldn’t verify my identity, and thus order a ride. When you try to verify your identity using Facebook, the app opens a tab to log into Facebook. The problem is that every time I entered my login information and pressed “Log into Facebook,” the page would reload and take me back to the Facebook login screen, meaning that, again, I could not verify my identity, and thus order a ride. Developers: let’s be real - are these two ways (and to be clear, these are the ONLY two ways) the best method of verifying someone’s identity? When the app asks someone to verify their identity using a credit or debit card, the app doesn’t even ask for the name…

1. The SMS verification doesn’t work when you’re in the location you want to use the app, despite setting it up prior to travel 2. Your authentication process is a joke. I logged in with my other +1 cell number (since the first one I pre set up magically wouldn’t work) in Colombia and someone had that “account” (aka had registered my number) and had been using it for a while. This had no impact to me as it was just a phone number and tied to my finances or cards, but once I logged in I instantly had access to their entire account and could have used their card for “free” rides. Realized at that point this whole thing is a joke and deleted it immediately. FYI for anyone reading this and traveling in South America where uber no longer works— Download DiDi. It works just fine, and it’s at least a bit more secure. Don’t let Beat beat you.

App needs work

I left my phone in a taxi earlier today and haven’t been able to get in contact with the driver. The number I called for the beat help desk hung up on me twice. The “left something in the taxi” section of the help area of their website explains that you need the app to be able to contact the driver. Haven’t gotten an email back to be able to get the pin required to get in the app on my friends phone, and the pin can only be sent to my phone. Only 8 out of 30 people found this advice helpful on their website, yet it hasn’t been updated. Was in a taxi with Florian T. And the license plate was TAB6765 if anyone here decides to help me. I made a dumb mistake in leaving my phone but I cannot be the only person to have done this. Will compensate the driver for returning my phone if anyone can help me get in contact with him. Very stressful situation.
