I am so disappointed I opened an account with Canara Bank. Their online site does not show a clear place to login. If you download Canaraai1 it gets even more fun. Now you cannot login because you have to get a password from your net banking. You cannot directly check your balance in your account after you log into your account from the mobile app. They have all the non sense you can do with your money but no direct place to see how much you have balance in your account.
They should simplify the interface for basic stuff.
Check your balance
Add payees etc.
Need a total overhaul of Canaraai1 . Looks horribly confusing.

App does not work for international phone numbers even tough this number is registered with my canara bank account and I can receive OTP for canara bank net banking. Very frustrating that I can do net banking but Canaraai1 will not work for international numbers

Canaraai1 stop working from last few days in iPhone X. I tried to delete and reinstall it but still whenever i open the application it take me to my profile. I can’t use any other options like to log in to my account or check the balance. Please fix it

Canaraai1 is so buggy. You cannot add other bank beneficiary via Canaraai1 because the dropdown to select the bank would not respond. How can one select a bank if the dropdown does not work? Canaraai1 is basically useless since you cannot use it for mobile banking.

iPhone X support iOS 16.7.8 ( latest version). Yet this Canara bank app supposedly supports only iOS 17 only.

Canaraai1 used to work until a month ago. I just don’t understand how the development and QA team can grossly neglect or miss this?

Now, as users we are stuck with app in am endless loop. It was unstable to start with and now just doesn’t open at all. Pathetic.

I can use it on iPhone for some basic things no problem. But some of the options are either slow or very quirky. Not at all tested. It has got the worst user experience imaginable for a banking app. So many small small icons displayed in 1 big page. Totally ineffective user interface.
Not to mention the silly name for Canaraai1 .

The most worst app that I’ve ever seen in my life aft operating multiple bank apps. This new canara mobile bank app is wasting people’s time in the name of security features. It spoils the essence of mobility for people. It never worked consistently for about a week also. Such a crap one and I really wonder who gave the right requirements to built this way to put lot of security layers. It causes many hurdles to get thru before you can use it for a day. Highly inconsistent, abrupt hung up and lock outs, and highly potential to loose business and customers. IT department has to consider rewriting Canaraai1 entirely.

Why can’t you work on iOS environment & update Canaraai1 ? Was Canaraai1 tested before release?
The fact that Apple doesn’t allow phone number to be fetched by Canaraai1 within the ‘sandbox’ was missed is a huge credibility question.
If it is working on a model/OS version please post details of it.

Canaraai1 won’t even let me login. I have a registered international phone number with Canara and it fails with UPI registration error. How can you release a product that fails in first step?

To be honest I was not expecting anything different from Canara bank. I couldn’t use their previous versions either. The fact that I have a loan account is the only reason I am banking with them. Nowadays self taught teenagers build better apps than Canara bank. You all should shut shop and go home.

I received a message stating that the data of syndicate bank has been migrated after the merger and we should use the Canara bank app. However after downloading Canaraai1 . When we try it does not open at all.

Pl do thorough testing before porting the version.

I tried twice to make an on-line transfer incurring all the correct steps. Both times the transaction failed stating it timeout because it couldn’t read my OTP. That is totally not true.

Please try to learn from HDFC in how it should be done right.

I cannot make online transactions as when I open Canaraai1 and try to login via Face ID, my transaction page not opening so please help. Even have come to branch bank and they too cannot solve

Downloaded Canaraai1 and tried to register. Disabled the other SIM that is not registered to the bank. Sends the text but after a few seconds it says “registration failed. Click next to try again”, and this cycle repeats.

Secure app. Fairly easy to negotiate. Not very useful with important needs of NRO account holders

It could be better product, too much content on Canaraai1 , may need to simplify little bit.

I am in the US and though I am on international roaming, my sms for verification is not going through. Is there a way to get otp verified through email?

Canaraai1 has improved a lot since it was first launched. The interface is much simpler and clear now.

I tried millions of times to install and reinstall Canaraai1 but in vain. The application couldn’t be activated. In an age of fast moving pace of technology, mobile app of Canara Bank is far behind its contemporaries in the race.

Canaraai1 used to work well with iOS 15.8.2. But, suddenly stopped working since last 3 weeks. Can this be restored to work with iOS 15.8.2, please?

Able to make transfers fast from mobile banking app. App look, feel and accessibility is great.
