The app is very confusing when you’re selecting pickup or delivery. When you make an honest mistake and choose pickup instead of delivery they give you zero room for error. When you immediately reach out to their customer service to find a solution like changing from pickup to delivery, or cancelling the first order so you can go back into the app to properly select delivery and place the order again, instead they just copy and paste responses saying it’s the customers fault and that they get to keep your $50 donation. Even though I’m a frequent customer that ate at their restaurant 3 times a week with my wife spending $50-$70 dollars a meal. Anyways if this escalated to someone actually in charge I’m sure they would recognize the value of customer service and would of worked with me, but the business put too many customer service walls in the way.

This all started when I wanted a simple bagel and cream cheese listed as a “bagel and schmear”. They app displays a picture of what appears to be an everything bagel with some type of seed, grain, or topping on the bagel and cream cheese. Our bread choices were 1: “multigrain sourdough” or 2: “plain bagel”. The first choice is sliced toast (not even a bagel although it’s listed as one), the second choice is a plain bagel that doesn’t match the bagel listed either. It’s just totally misleading photo after photo, all in an effort to appear trendy or appealing, or to push their loyalty card. Unfortunately, I can’t imagine staying a loyal customer to a restaurant that intentionally misleads customers. This is all besides the fact that there are errors like the “price cannot be updated” or the many other foods that are inactive items but still are features at the top of the menu.

So, i don't tip on pick up orders as there is no service provided, however, the app adding by default tips to your bill even for a pick up.
Ordering can be tricky and confusing! A substitute is not listed how it should, and there was a situations where i got a different orders completely. The app need to to remove substitute or clarify what it does.
