Only thing I got from this is some sore hands from claping. Doesn’t work. Don’t waste your time on this one. Not even any troubleshooting options to try and figure out why it failed so miserably.
Keeps crashing when I click record. I read the previous review and followed all the developer’s instructions about uninstalling and reinstalling ClapReverb . App doesn’t appear to have been updated in the last two years. Running iOS 15.5 on an iPhone 11 Pro
Creates distortion noise out of speaker, rendering app useless.
Does not work.
Bruh this won’t recognize me clapping
I had rated this 1 star, because it wouldn’t even run. The developer updated, and asked me to try it again.
Now it runs, sort of. I tried it twice, and it ran once (with a bug in the keyboard), but the second time I ran it, it crashed.
To the developer: showing promise! What I saw of it working, looks great! Measures background noise for baseline, then takes five samples, all autodetecting the noise event.
Critical issue: my iOS alarm (apple alarm clock app) went off while using your app, and ClapReverb totally crashed.
Non-critical (but highly annoying) issue: When trying to save data, the iOS keyboard was directly over the fields I needed to type in. I couldn’t see what I was typing. If it matters, I use a slightly “zoomed” iOS keyboard. Not hugely zoomed, but enough for my eyesight at age 45.

ClapReverb lets you instantly evaluate the reverberation time (RT) of an enclosed space — a key factor in determining a room’s acoustic quality.
Whether you’re an architect, interior designer, engineer, teacher, musician — or simply curious — ClapReverb is for anyone who wants to integrate acoustics into their projects.
Place your phone or tablet at the center of the room, wait for the signal, and clap your hands (slightly cupped palms).
The app’s results have been verified through a rigorous experimental protocol, presented at the 26th International Congress on Sound & Vibration.
The app analyzes the relevant frequencies and provides a clear picture of the room's acoustics.
