Sunday funday

First time user and forever fan. Was concerned about getting set up after reading some of the reviews but I had no problems and was off and running in no time. Perfect way to spend an afternoon hitting various locations around the city with a group of friends (all experienced with this app) who meet regularly and use this app to get around. Can’t say enough about how much of a good time we have. Looking forward to our next outing and an upcoming vacation in Austin. Thanks

Touristing in Austin

We were down in ATX this past weekend and ran across Scoobi to rent a moped. It was a great way to get around the city and tourist around without having to get into an Uber. Scoobi was easy to use and the mopeds were also easy to operate. We look forward to using it again.

Convenient

Scoobi is convenient and easy to use - this is a great service for the city of Pittsburgh! Love that we’re catching up with other major cities and we have another way to get around in a place where mass transit options are lacking.

By

Scoobi!

I was down on San Jacinto in need of a ride, walking past the convention center I saw one of these, bam I took all the way back, got back home about an hour earlier than expected. Easily the best ride-share ATX has to offer.

So much fun!

I have been wanting to ride a moped forever (literally since Lizzie McGuire hopped on one with Paolo) and found Scoobi! Extremely user friendly, safety video was really informative, and my friends and I had a blast mopeding around!

LOVE

this app is the best! Not only are they able to take on the potholes and big hills of the Pittsburgh “roads” unlike those stupid standup scooters, but Scoobi is simple to use and I’ve only experienced great customer service when calling in. #scoobisquad

App Works Great

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews for Scoobi, I haven’t had any problems! Scoobi runs smoothly, and it is super easy to use.

Convenient

Love this whole concept! Very user friendly and a cheap and easy way to get around town.

Scoobi

Great costumer service, the scooters were nice and convenient for getting around downtown in A town, just installed Scoobi and was ready to go… greatly recommend

Scoobi

I came across this app while trying to find a scooter to rent. It was super easy to rent and easy to ride. I would definitely recommend!

By

The Best!

Such a fun way to get around. Way better than the kick-scooters! Goes twice as fast and youre not worried you’ll hit a crack on the sidewalk and fly off

By

Love Scoobi!

Downloading Scoobi was very fast and easy and getting around the Austin downtown area on a moped was so convenient! Love this app! Definitely recommend.

App doesn’t work

The servers seems to be permanently down. After I scanned my license and paid to have it verified, it signed me out and I can’t log back in. It’s just an infinite loop. It’s a shame because this would be a great service if Scoobi simply worked.

By

Disaster of an App!

It crashed 8 times in two minutes. It charged me for verifying my drivers license, and then wouldn’t start up again. It sent me error messages like you wouldn’t believe. Scoobi is absolute trash. Do NOT DOWNLOAD IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, MONEY or PATIENCE.

By

Broken App

used to be a fun way to get from A to B in the city, but Scoobi won’t even work now. it’s just a blank screen like others have said

I like it

I like it, thank you!

10/10

These Mopeds are amazing

Unauthorized charge

this app charges a user $5 to verify your DL information. I began the signup process to use the service but stopped as soon as I saw that. It’s a really poor look and bad idea to charge your customers that early in the signup flow. They should absorb the cost.

Regardless, even though I stopped as soon as I saw that fee and did not provide any license information they still charged me $5 anyway.

Do not enter any credit card information unless you plan on using the service and paying $5.

Totally worth it

Yeah they charge to sign up but the experience and convenience is totally worth it. I hate having to find parking again once already out and these beauts perfectly solve the problem

Mike customer support Pittsburgh

He was wonderful. Helping us to troubleshoot and guided us through. He was very patient and when we were disconnected (our fault) he called us back immediately. Extremely patient 🙌🏼

Really disappointed

My husband and I wanted to do this for a fun date night. We signed up, reserved the bikes and then payment didn’t go through because we have a joint bank account and it wouldn’t accept the $75 fee twice. Went to use a credit card and turns out they don’t take discover payment. We walked 10 blocks for nothing. Really disappointing.

Overcharging

I love the service and the scooters, but until they figure out how to fix this issue I can’t give it a positive review. Repeatedly I’ve paused my ride and returned later only to find Scoobi does not register the pause and charges full price. I did everything as instructed but was overcharged anyway. You all have to fix this.

By

Exceptional experience

I haven’t had any issues with Scoobi at all and have loved my time on this app! Great user experience digitally, and the bikes are sturdy and fun to ride. Highly recommend!!

Looove riding Sccobis!

Scoobi has had its issues but that’s expected with a new startup. I’m confident they’ll get things resolved in new versions. Support this app to keep it available in Pittsburgh!

Collects DL fee prior showing terms and conditions

The $5 drivers license check fee is collected before the “terms and conditions” and “assumption of risk” agreements are shown to the user — let alone accepted.

I didn’t agree with the agreements after reading them, so this feels like I’ve been scammed out of $5 for trying to support a local company. I’ll rent a bicycle instead.

Great Company

Has some issues , which is expected of an ambitious startup, but the team cares and is very responsive. Overall great

Scoobi

Great fun!! Easy to sign up, only takes a few minutes. And inexpensive!
Ride is very smooth. Give it a try.

By

Great Idea, so far subpar experience.

Went through the signup process, paid the $5, got through the reservation and now I’m stuck with an unactivated ride, a frozen app that says ride In Progress, and no way to cancel the reservation. Customer service wasn’t available. Update 6/16: Was charged $80 for a ride I never took. Avoid Scoobi.

Founding member.

I was signed up for Scoobi before it even released. I was literally one of the first people to ride these things the day they came out. Recently they updated Scoobi and signed me out. Then I had to re put in my license I already had in their system and they wanted to charge me 5 dollars.

Not reliable

Just missed a meeting due to app not functioning. Similar problem last year. Make sure to register and test ride for fun and don’t rely on commuting

Fun Ride but a Crap App

Finding an available bike is a nightmare, Scoobi is often directing you too a bike that’s not there... then there the fun of trying to use this webpage the wrap and call an app.

Lotta fun to ride, just no fun to use.

Literally can't even download the app. Fill out my info to register and gets stuck on discounts whatever that even is. Just spins for a few minutes and then says I have the wrong account information.
