Needs work

Update: For anyone else with the issue of not being able to see options, for me, it was because I had my iPhone set to dark mode. When I changed it to light mode, I could see everything just fine. Also, the sedentary reminders *do* work. That just leaves the Band Display Settings. For these reasons, I added a star.

The device seems to work well and has many great features, especially for the price. But I’m disappointed in YohoSports in its current state. I cannot view the options below menus such as Profile, Devices, and Features. It is a blank white screen. I figured out there are options there, and I have been able to select the appropriate choices, but only by blind trial and error. Why can’t I see anything there? Also, the Band Display Settings gives me an error message that says, “This feature is not supported.” I assume this is where I might change the display color or switch between the 12-hour and 24-hour clock, both of which I’d really like to do, but unfortunately cannot. Finally, I’m not receiving sedentary reminders. Since I can’t view the options there, I don’t know if it’s the settings or if it’s just not working. Overall, the device works well enough, but YohoSports needs work so one can take full advantage of all the features.

Yoho sports fitness band

Would like to change the time to 12 hr setting. Would also like to know what the band display setting is for. A note pops up that says it is not supported. Can’t figure that out. Battery doesn’t charge to full charge. It does charge to 4 bars instead of all 5.
DSS 4/27

Tracker finally switched to 12 hr setting. Still don’t know what “band display setting” is for. Still says not supported. If it’s not supported why is it in the menu at all? Mine has not tracked my sleep patterns since I’ve had it which is about 3-4 days now. It lets you set hours for sleeping under profile but does not track. Any suggestions on these issues?
DSS 4/29

How do you retrieve informed that was accidentally lost? Didn’t know that information would erase if you had accidentally caused tracer to vibrate and lose information you had achieved for the day. Already had over 3500 steps by 12:00 noon and lost it all. Still does not track sleep habits. Getting more disappointed in tracker by the day.
DSS 5/1

Tracker sends information to phone but the tracker screen on the wrist quit working Sometimes it shows the time when lifting the wrist but can’t switch to any other screen. Thought tracker would work longer than 5-6 weeks. So disappointing.

Neat Concept- needs some work (iOS user)

12/24 hour time format: Press and hold button on main device screen for 3-5 seconds. Format will change. Figured this out for myself.

Firmware version 2.39
Bought the device for $11 US with free shipping. Wanted a cheap pedometer and thought what the heck. I really can’t complain since I have a low investment.

My comments are directed to the developer in hopes they can improve device functionality with regards to an iPhone.

Step count is questionable. Logged 3000 steps for about an hour worth of yard work. Doesn’t seem right.

Blood pressure might be inconsistent but I think it’s relatively close. I take BP meds and being able to “quick check “ my BP is handy. It seems within range but has occasionally reported a systolic of 100 which is very low for me.

Heart rate seems fairly accurate.

Sleep monitoring is non existent. I’ve read the device only monitors sleep from 9pm to 9am. Wondering if it’s off by 12 hours (maybe Asia specific vs North America?). Going to try the sleep monitor on my iPhone tonight & see if that works.

Syncing to Health App on iPhone:
Does sync steps which is good.
Would be great if YohoSports could sync Blood pressure and heart rate data to the health app on iOS.

Waterproof is a plus! Showered wearing device with no problems.

Notifications work for incoming phone calls and texts.

Overall, for 11 bucks I got a really cool device that works pretty good.

Excellent app for an excellent smart watch!

UPDATE: I had to knock off 1 star because although I still very much like YohoSports (and watch) I found a fairly significant limitation: The sleep monitoring ASSUMES you sleep between 9pm and 9am and does NOT allow you to configure this timeline at all... Since I bought this primarily for sleep monitoring, this a major issue to me. Hopefully, the developer can fix this via an app or firmware update... If so, I will update my rating to be 5 stars again.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
YohoSports is one of the best designed apps I've seen in a long time… It's got all the features you need and it syncs up very well with the watch. No annoying ads or nag screens or anything like that. A very refreshing change. It helps you keep track of your exercising, sleep monitoring, Heart rate, blood pressure… And even relays your text messages to your watch… Time and date etc. are all automatically sent from your phone. A really outstanding app.

Overall not bad but not absolutely amazing.

It’s not a bad app or device. I got the device for free from my elderly neighbor because he didn’t have a smart device that had the right specs to download YohoSports . Things function pretty well, though I’m not sure how accurate the blood pressure is. I tested it three times in a row with a pretty wide range of results even though I didn’t move or do anything. My biggest issue is that the sleep tracker only goes from 9pm to 9am and I’m a night owl so I usually sleep during the day so if it even picks up anything at all, it’s only a couple of hours at most. YohoSports is pretty limited. I’d like it to be able to constantly monitor my pulse and things like that, but for the price of the device, it’s a pretty good deal. Over all, not bad but a few tweaks would make it a lot better

Very Disappointed

This review is based on my personal experience and I'm not saying everyone has the same issues I do. I bought the 4 pack, thinking I'd give some to my kids. On the positive side, the clock works, although not sure how to change date/time. (Instructions are almost non-existent throughout) Also, not an obvious way to contact support for help. It counts steps but is not very accurate, especially if you're not swinging arms, and doesn't take into account a persons stride length. The heart monitor is fairly accurate but the blood pressure monitor is useless. All four bracelets I received are off by anywhere from 30-40 points on the systolic and 10-15 on the Diastolic when compared side-by-side to a real BP monitor. I honestly can't give this to someone who would need to rely on BP measurements as it could be deadly when receiving very faulty information. They're cheap so I guess you get what you pay for, but I'll gladly pay much more for something I can rely on. By-the-way YohoSports has very basic info and marginal setup ability.

Not too bad.

Considering the price I paid, $10 it’s not bad at all. Both readings, heart rate and blood pressure both are pretty accurate. Though I would like if that data would also send to my AppleHealth App. It tracks sleep patterns as well as your steps and does send to AppleHealth.
Now for the reason of the 4 start review and not 5. YohoSports keeps telling me the device needs an update. I have literally sat here and “updated” it 4 times back to back. Either there is a glitch or something but it doesn’t let you see the “version” of your upgrade like say apple does with its phone updates. I’m all for keeping up with updates, but this is ridiculous for it to keep showing it needs to be updated. So if there could be a “version” number so you see if your that far behind or what. Other than that pretty good for a cheapie smart watch.

Not too shabby...

It’s kind of an okay device but lacks some SERIOUS customization and other general features. Like others who have put similar feature requests, I too would appreciate having the “smartwatch/band” connect to Apple Health for the Heart rate feature. Also it would be better if you can allow users to change watch faces or at least tidy up to UI. In short, if you are just looking for a dirt cheap smartwatch this will probably suffice, but if you want some of the nicer features and a touchscreen display, this is absolutely NOT the way to go.

Also developer, do you even READ some of the reviews for YohoSports and your device? You might be able to make this a really good smartwatch for cheap if you listen to the community and your users. It’s a nice thing though...

I Love it but....

Great smart band for as cheap as it was! I got mine off of wish for 3$ plus like 2$ shipping and I’ve overall been pretty pleased. I would just like if you guys could make the background options setting work in YohoSports because when I click on it, it says “function not available” and I would like it if you could change it from military time to just regular. Other than that this is a 5 star smart band and you can’t beat the price! Such a neat little device with lots of features packed in one. Notifications work which is neat, call alerts, and all kinds of other cool little features work. Although the heart rate monitor seems to be having trouble since the update as well as weather feature! Please fix if possible! Thank you!!!

Watch suddenly stopped working and app won’t update

I bought this watch a little over a month ago. I originally like it and the features. I didn’t feel the need to purchase a full smart watch. However, the past 2 weeks I have had problems with YohoSports and now the watch itself isn’t working. It first stopped tracking sleep patterns. I’ve tried updating YohoSports and that doesn’t seem to do anything. The watch itself was working fine up until today and then it froze up. It would not change screens when I tapped it and now it has gone dark and won’t turn back on. I put it on the charger and it still says there is 3/4 battery left. Not sure if this is a glitch that will correct itself, or what. It’s never been submerged in water. I charge it when it needs it. I’m not sure there is anything else I can do to fix it. I suppose I should expect this from a $15 watch.

Great for the money

I bought my smart band on the wish/home app. I only paid $11 (including shipping), so I was skeptical, but only wanted something basic. Mine counts my steps accurately, takes my heart rate, blood pressure and will last 2 or 3 days without having to charge it.

Does not record my sleep accurately tho. I’ve tried setting it to 12 hrs, 10, and 8 hrs... it records sleep a little better on 8 hrs but is still not accurate with that. It’s also not easy to charge the first time. I tried all of my usb chargers that connect to the outlets, wouldn’t charge. Plugged it up to my rca tablet, charges great.

I also get notifications if a call or text comes in. Also, one time it changed over to military time for a few days, I was mad be a use I prefer reg time. I learned if you hold the button down for a few seconds on the first screen (the time screen), it will change back.

So overall, if you want something that counts steps accurately, it’s great for that. If you’re looking for a bunch of frills, do buy something else.

Another con is you can’t find new bands to go with it, you wind up just having to buy another watch. So I bought a second one as a backup. It’s charging now, so We’ll see.

Poorly made device

I set the device up on Monday, after receiving in mail on Saturday. Charged it, downloaded YohoSports and set it all up. Things started out really well. Counting my steps, I was getting text messages, Heart Beat and Blood Pressure monitoring working well. Never could get the “shake for picture”, to work. By the end of the day, getting the Heart Beat and Blood Pressure was taking some time, text messages weren’t coming through.
Wore it to bed, did not monitor sleep, time had switched to a 2400 hour clock. Still no Monitoring of HB or BP. After about 2 hours, nothing working. I again read the poorly translated directions, turned my phone off and back on. Time, steps, distance, calorie count came back, but nothing else. I’ve deleted YohoSports , reloaded YohoSports , turned phone off, nothing has changed.
Good thing this was not expensive. Of course, I guess you get what you pay for. 🤨🙄

Happy, but not over joyed

I did some research before purchasing a fitness band. I found that many of fitness bands/watches use this application. With my particular band everything seems to work well, with the exception of a the sleep app. Sometimes it connects with my iPhone and other times it doesn’t. There was an update earlier this week and now the sleep app doesn’t pass data. For the price of the fitness band, $15, and this free app I’m happy.

For those of you that can’t get the measure you want, have you gone to settings and updated your profile?

And on particular fitness band, I press and hold the clock and it changes from 24 to 12 hour time.

If they would just back up their products

I had this tracker for just a few months every time I turn around I couldn’t charge it I plugged it in and I called the company and then it started working I know they have access to turning it on well or upgrading I don’t understand why they can’t give me a new tracker because I cannot charge it at all they said that I was a little too late because in June it would be out they would’ve been able to send me one but I ended up on calling them and asking them to you don’t get the tracker taken care of but she said she was unable because June was my day would’ve been able to do it in June of this year but of course I will be without a tracker and I spent you know for three trackers and I’m having problems so I hope they get this review because it’s not very good because they don’t back up their products

Works as advertised

I was skeptical about YohoSports when I read the reviews. I resale fitness wristbands and have tested over two dozen apps. YohoSports is well designed and reliable. There was a delay in sleep monitor but was accurate in every other features including unit calculations. It connects to wristband within seconds after I open YohoSports . The data sync will start on steps and calories calculation. The sleep monitor won’t sync automatically. You will need to switch screen by swiping the screen to sleep monitor. I gave it 5 stars because it doesn’t conflict with other 3 wristbands I am wearing and for its reliability.

Has a long way to go but not bad!

Loses data. I use my watch/app to keep track of steps, heart rate, sleep, etc. It’s my motivator! Well, was my motivator. I made some minor adjustments since I just received my watch a couple of days ago. It completely lost my steps today and reset the time to 24 hours. Ahhhhhh, not happy! Glad it didn’t cost me a large sum of money! Definitely needs some tweaking!!

Also, it’s REALLY hard trying to dislodge the band from the face of the watch to charge. The directions say look on the back to see which side the USB is on. My watch shows no such indication. I have to use a small flathead screwdriver to pry off the band HOPING I have the right side. Twice now I gouged my hand with the screwdriver. Not fun!

Garbage.

I received this as a gift but it's garbage and had I bought it myself I would've returned it after a few days. In theory, it records your steps, your sleep, heart rate, bp, has an alarm you can set on YohoSports , notifications etc. Sleep stats are never recorded even though I wear the stupid thing TIGHTLY secured to my wrist all night. Step count is completely inaccurate. You don't get to choose which notifications (only my IG, FB, phone calls and messages come through not email or calendar among others that I wish would come through). Some notifications come through multiple times for the same thing. There's no sleep mode so messages come through all night, which is fun. Not. I really just wanted a basic, small "smart" watch so I didn't have to have my phone in my hand to notify me, but this is hot garbage.

ATTENTION DEVELOPER!!

I've had mine for a few weeks now. Ordered 3.
One for myself and gave the others to my kids.
NONE of them came with a charger. It connects to our iPhones but doesn't sync everything to Apple Health. Steps are a little off. BP & Heart rate aren't accurate. I guess the only thing that works perfectly is the clock 🤣🤣
It automatically updates the time when it's paired with my phone.
For the past week, ALL 3 devices have had issues. They ALL keep saying "UPGRADE". Our apps have been updated. When we open YohoSports , sync with device, it automatically starts to "UPDATE". They have been through the update process several times now and nothing has changed. I'm not sure why they keep doing this but it's very frustrating. I check to see what time it is and it says upgrade.... 🙄😡 can't do anything with it until it decides it's finished playing the update game.
You get what you pay for. Thankfully I didn't get them to rely on for any health reasons.

Please Fix this problem.

I use my Yoho band2 MS1020 everyday on my iPhone 5S. I was very happy with this. But after the latest app updates it doesn’t works correctly. Everyday I have to adjust my profile settings. It resets my age, weight, goals etc. I’ve already the latest firmware update. In settings I cannot change the time display options. It always take time only and don’t get the date and time options. I need it very much because it shows the Bluetooth connectivity status.

Please fix this problem on next apps update quickly. It would be nice to us.

Won’t sync with the app

When I first got it, I did a full charge, followed the instructions, & it worked great. No problems with it syncing to YohoSports .
For the past few days, I’ve been trying to get it to sync with YohoSports and have failed. I tried everything - rebooting my phone, powering off the watch & power on again, fully charging the watch, deleting YohoSports & re-downloading it... everything. Now it won’t even find the the device & the watch is 4 minutes slow.
Before I purchased it, I read the full description & it states the battery should last for approx 5 days before needing a re-charge. I have to charge this watch DAILY. My last watch was also a generic brand & lasted for 3 days on one charge. Yes I am not satisfied with this new one.

Fitness watch will do everything up to bind. Bluetooth will connect but will not bind. I NEED IT TO BIND.

Lea   1 year ago

I like to monitor my steps, pulse, blood pressure and sleep. However, not sure about it’s accuracy. My main complaint is that it does not fully charge. For the price I’m okay with it.

Verna Dixon   1 year ago

I got this bracelet and from day 1 the sleep portion does not record at all. I checked by watching you tube video. Nothing happens when I try to open sleep section. I got this to show my Dr how little sleep I am getting. But it does not work. Please fix on your end. Thank you.

Trelane McKinney   2 years ago

I purchased the watch for a good price. Downloaded the app & ended up paying $30.00 for use of the app. When in the description states it's free. As a Disabled Veteran on a fixed income this is unfair when it was not noted anywhere when I purchased the watch. Tried to get a refund customer service hung up on me after waiting to speak for over 1 hour. I'm very upset & my situation was not addressed

Donna Bielinski   2 years ago

I had a problem with the sleep tracker suddenly not working anymore, but was able to fix it by 1) updating the YoHo app, and then 2) restarting both my smartphone and the YoHo Band.

The yoho. app is trash . it stops counting steps after 7000 steps. I only use it for the time an date also for receiving calls an text messages that's all its good. for. On my other wrist I use. a fitbit alta for true accurate readings

App is basic and killing my phone battery. My phone stayed charged for two days prior to wanting to monitor my steps. Got this watch through the walmart.com site. The face fell off after a 10 hour day wear time. Said it needed to have the app to be setup. After I gorilla glued the face back on, I noticed now since having the watch connected to my phone it is killing my phone battery. Phone is losing charge rapidly from fully charged by the end of my day. Is it necessary to be connected to the app for it to track my steps?

Not recording my sleep mode. How do I fix this

Peter Key   3 years ago

My Yoho Sports band counts my step ,for example 11 000 steps, and I can see them on the graph but it then tells me I only did 6 steps. It worked fine in the beginning and has only started doing this in the last month. Why?

Ulia   3 years ago

Hello, since yesterday my yoho sports bracelet does not count the steps anymore. All the rest works fine. What do you recommend me to do? I reinstalled the app twice, also restarted my Iphone and the problem remains. Other step counting apps work on my mobile. Thank you for your support Ulia

Even if you ever get it to bind (pair) the Blood PRESSURE MONITOR is so far off you could kill someone. Always reads 116/77 while my professional Omega Blood pressure monitor reads 150/88 morning, 142/87 later after my medicine. Tried moving the band to under the wrist right on the veins. Still got the low readings. The band is tight to get a good connection.
