Idk if its just my phone messing up but fsr the song im playing doesnt show up on the lock screen, meaning i cant control it thru the lock screen or my headphones without opening SilenceMusic . its really annoying
update: yeah its definitely SilenceMusic , i tried it on another phone and it didn't show up in the lock screen either. I remember seeing someone else post about this a year ago, and the devs said they fixed it. Maybe something similar messed up, so a similar solution would work best?
idk i think they stopped working on this because of the pandemic, maybe once its over theyll be able to release updates faster

I used this almost everyday and I love it at the beginning l! There were no problems but now it randomly shuts off it stops playing a song randomly in the middle, changes the song I want and most of the time it won’t even play the song I want! What’s worse is that after I payed to use the whole app is when it started messing up this badly. And what happened today is why I’m writing this message, it’s not even letting me see the playlist that I’ve made to listen to music. So now till I can’t even see the songs I want to listen to. Please respond to me when you see this please and thank you.

Overall SilenceMusic is a pretty good free music app. After the world renowned Musi was removed I was in a desperate search for a free music app. Luckily this one was there.
Although it’s functionality is less than ideal it’s pretty good. The whole de thing is a good idea but could be better executed.
Now all good things aside I have one major complaint which is many of my songs will not play as i get an error saying “no streams available for selected video” I do not know what this means but it is keeping me from listening to music.
This problem is so big I have only given SilenceMusic a two star rating. Until this problem is fixed I think SilenceMusic is mediocre at best!

A year and a half ago, I downloaded SilenceMusic and it worked great! I have so many playlists saving my music over the past year but for the past month or so, SilenceMusic has a lot of bugs making it really hard to use. After a couple songs, SilenceMusic crashes. I have to restart SilenceMusic again every time to continue listening. Sometimes it skips a song in the middle of playing it for no reason or it refuses to play a song entirely. It’s so unpredictable and frustrating.
If I could, I would just downgrade to an older version of SilenceMusic because I didn’t experience these problems before. I’m not sure what went wrong but it’s almost impossible to use SilenceMusic anymore. Really wish I could go back!

So SilenceMusic seem pretty cool at first since musi got taken off Apple Store I was really looking for that one app that was like musi in a way. I liked it at first. Its easy to add to favorites I just would’ve loved that when you added a song to your favorites it will highlight the heart to let you know the song is already placed there. And once you add the song you can’t delete it off of your favorites playlist also when you Search one song After another the song that you previously search before pops up a little while after scrolling when you search up a new song which is very annoying but I can live. But now that I got the updated version from two days ago now you have to be a pro member to save songs to your favorites I’m not paying for 4.99 for a Music app there’s not even fixing its own bugs. You all gave off the impression that SilenceMusic is free now you have to pay is it because more people are starting to find SilenceMusic and use it because we all missed Musi? I feel like that is very unfair and no way I’m paying for any subscription especially to an app that I think I’ll be deleting soon

From what I see, it’s essentially the new & improved “Musi,” or Musi 2.0. I can’t give a full review though because the devs are asking for a one-time $4.99 purchase in exchange for full access and the additional benefits of no ads and all that nice jazz.
I’ll put it out there for all to realize: It’s WHOPPINGLY expensive just to have SilenceMusic -publisher membership that Apple requires of you before you can even publish your work onto SilenceMusic Store for the general public.
So, for as little as $4.99 in credit, it’s a more-than-fair trade for the users, and the devs have to make SOME kind of income-funding for SilenceMusic, otherwise they won’t be able to keep SilenceMusic updated, much less on the store, just like what happened to the Musi app we knew and loved.
Here’s the missing 2 stars: You are giving free users the ability to stream one track at a time, and not even save them or keep a single playlist, and the ads are timed for 30 fricken seconds before you can cancel and get on with life in SilenceMusic . Interface isn’t buggy, it’s smooth so far, but that limited access is basically forcing the purchase on us. I shame you for that much. But I’ll get back to this when I’ve tried the full version after $4.99, and see about a 4th star, not that one more or one less star on this one review will make much of a difference among the crowd.

When Musi was taken off SilenceMusic store, I wanted to find another music app similar to it, so I had downloaded SilenceMusic. I really enjoyed it at first, it was easy to use and I enjoyed all of it’s features. The only thing that really annoyed me about SilenceMusic was how long it took to start up, but that became more tolerable as I continued to use SilenceMusic . But things started to go downhill ever since I had updated my iPhone to iOS 14. After that, SilenceMusic had started crashing after playing 2 or 3 songs, it would overheat my phone, it would just go slower in general, etc. So, I had decided to stop using that app and go back to using Musi (since it was put back on SilenceMusic store). SilenceMusic really just stayed like that until today, when I realized that I can’t even open SilenceMusic anymore. Whenever I try and open it, the loading screen comes up and then it just brings me back to my home screen. I found that quite upsetting since I had a lot of playlists on there that I wanted to transfer to other music apps. All I hope for is that SilenceMusic will become less glitchy in the future.

It’s like an evil step sister of musi, it’s super nice for getting songs and putting them into a playlist and finding said playlist. But the asking for 4.99 all the time gets aggravating especially when I’m driving. If I hit shuffle and just lock my phone, after a few songs it’ll stop and it’ll have me open SilenceMusic and say I don’t want to pay 4.99. I shouldn’t have to be almost forced to buy something. Also sometimes after a while I can’t lock my phone and still listen to music. So I’ll have to turn SilenceMusic off restart then I lose where I was in my playlist. If you want to have a song play next, you have to do it twice because the first tike it brings it to the second up song. Then the 2nd time it’ll bring it up next.

I don’t know what happened but recently it has been incredibly buggy.. sometimes the playlist freezes and when you open SilenceMusic , it refreshes so you have to play your playlist again. Also, it keeps saying error, no streaming available for this video, so you have to close it multiple times and then it works. I think this is SilenceMusic problem not YouTube’s because it says “no streaming” but then works after you refresh like five times, meaning that it should be fixed so there isn’t so many bugs.. thank you

First problem is that I can’t change my playlist covers at times and it’s annoying. Second the contact developer button doesn’t work. Finally whenever you exit SilenceMusic the song stops and starts again and that’s annoying too please fix these issues. Here’s some suggestions as well, allow us to change the thumbnails of videos as it’ll be the only music app to do that, second allow us to change the names of songs, most music apps allow that but not yours, third allow us to change the name of the uploader as most music apps allow that too but yours doesn’t either and finally allow us to import our playlists! That’s all I have to say. Update: The syncing playlists thing doesn’t work and neither does the contact developers button please fix these problems.

I really do like SilenceMusic but there is a few things I noticed is wrong. When I get out of SilenceMusic the music stops, I can press play to resume the music however I know eventually that could possibly get somewhat annoying and could potentially drive others away. So I suggest tweaking that. Ahh also whenever you search something up you get very few options to choose from to see if it’s there and that can get annoying.
Ex. I decide to look for popular songs like from the musical Hamilton. So I search up ‘Hamilton Soundtrack’ and there are 2 hour videos of the entire soundtrack but I want the songs separately. So I go scrolling knowing that they all would show up eventually but when I scroll and hit a wall. Then I realize I have to search up the songs individually it could get tedious and annoying.
See how that’s kinda annoying? So yeah be wary on putting a search limit.

Okay, don’t get me wrong I love SilenceMusic to death but lately it’s been really buggy like I would put a picture as the background and I’d come back and it’d be black and I’d have to change it again, I doesn’t do that as often but now the problem is anytime I get off SilenceMusic usually the song that’s playing would be in my notification cent (the thing that you slide down to see all your notifs) but now it won’t show up unless I keep opening and closing the tab but it will still disappear so I would have to actually go back to SilenceMusic to skip the song or go back to a different part of the song and it’s kinda annoying I’m considering going back to Musi 😅 please fix it cause I already bought the 4.99 subscription thing and it would be a shame if I had to delete SilenceMusic after I spent money on it.

I think SilenceMusic is pretty close to the og musi but still not the same, for musical lovers it’s a bit hectic beacuse not al the tracks of the show you look up show up individually. Ex. I was looking for the Heathers Musical soundtrack and Beetlejuice the musical soundtrack and there are a lot of 1-2 hour videos with the whole soundtrack and not too many individual songs. Also anything turn off is that I was hoping I could listen to my music with WiFi but it doesn’t play anything and you must be connected to some sort of WiFi, but overall SilenceMusic is great you can listen to music and close SilenceMusic and you can also add as many songs you want to a playlist! If you can just fix those minor minor bugs SilenceMusic would be as amazing as the original Musi or maybe even better

I’m not able to see the song that’s playing when I’m not on SilenceMusic or when my phone is locked, meaning I can’t rewind the song or video unless I’m in SilenceMusic which is highly irritating. SilenceMusic can also be unresponsive and lag frequently. Also, when I’m trying to add a song to my playlist, it will say it added the song, b it once I click it, it’ll play the song I was listening to while I added the other song. The startup time for loading a video is very long, and I have great WiFi so this shouldn’t be a problem. Sometimes, the arrow to escape the video menu is too high and I can’t close it. If I’m not on SilenceMusic , my songs won’t continue to play. Other than that, SilenceMusic is a great substitute for Musi.

i love the idea with SilenceMusic, and despite the constant bugs, i continue to use SilenceMusic daily. more navigation options would be nice, like directing to the profile from the track, or see profiles following. as for bugs i’ve encountered many, doesn’t show full search results, frequent crashes (while using SilenceMusic , not listening), broken video streams, broken profiles, and a few more. SilenceMusic has many great features from customization, to an equalizer, libraries and party play. If a bit more work was done too it, it would be fantastic. but i do recommend trying it, even the premium account is an easy 5 dollars final, no monthly payments or subscription.

As an iPhone SE user, I enjoy Silence Music. The application works very well. It doesn’t take too much for a music to start playing. It would be nice to see an audio/video speed changer, though. Also, as a bit more of a visual person, the asymmetry of the button placement(such as in the player itself) bothers me a little. For instance, the loop button in the player is so close to the edge of the screen. It seems like the buttons there have shifted to the right side. There is a shifting in the “Profile” either.

Literally one of the best free music apps on the market! i can’t thank you guys enough because you put in all of this work for a free app so everyone can enjoy to use it! i would love to upgrade to the pro version to give you guys some money, but i don’t have a credit card because i’m 13. overall one of the greatest apps out there and i live the feature that you can change the picture!

I’m enjoying SilenceMusic great music, I like how SilenceMusic is all set up and designed good job. I’m having an issue right now, when I click on SilenceMusic it’s hesitating before I can start playing my songs or any songs. It last maybe 10 sec , then I can start playing music. Just a small issue. Hopefully it gets fixed. But I really love SilenceMusic it’s a good choice. I also have problems when I look up a song that says no streaming available it says that with too many songs screaming should always be available I think for any song that you look up. I also got the Musi app and I don’t have no issues with that but I like silence music also so can we please fix these problems

Recently purchased the pro and I never felt more satisfied with a one time payment purchase of only 5 bucks I stand behind this application by all means. Also it’s pretty good app to have with the free subscription. Only thing I recommend is offline downloading music and auto play on non-favorite/ music should be a option just something that will slightly make it better besides that I would donate more than 5 dollars

I love SilenceMusic a lot and recently I’ve been encountering issues when I want to play music. When I click on a song it just says “ERROR” “NO STREAMS AVAILABLE FOR SELECTED VIDEO” what does this mean and what should I do? It gets really annoying when I’m trying to listen to something and then that pops up sometimes and then it just kills the mood to listen to anything. Please fix this issue because I really love SilenceMusic. It might have to do with network issues but it does it even when I’m home on WiFi and my WiFi is pretty fast it does it even when I’m home alone and I’m the only one connected it gets very annoying so please fix!

PLEASE! ADD AN OFFFLINE OPTION EVEN IF ITS JUST FOR PEOPLE HAVE THE PREMIUM ACCOUNT!! SilenceMusic is amazing but it’s to dependent on WiFi or data! It gets so annoying how long it takes to load/buffer a song. SilenceMusic would get a 5 star rating but I can’t give it that because how SilenceMusic depends on WiFi or good data connection so much. SilenceMusic would be really amazing if it didn’t rely so much on WiFi connection and data; it’s annoying how it says the stream can’t be found even though the WiFi connection is good. Please, fix these issuance because I really love SilenceMusic but please, fix the issues I listed and add those things and this will be the best app for music 100%! And please fix the issue with SilenceMusic saying error when looking for music. SilenceMusic is amazing but if it had an offline mode and fix the WiFi dependent bug and things like that it would be better

I love SilenceMusic and it works great when it’s working. However, there are sooo many bugs that make SilenceMusic very annoying.
For instance I’ll be playing a song from a YT playlist and the song will just randomly skip.
Or I’ll open up SilenceMusic click on one of my playlists and SilenceMusic won’t show any of my songs. When I open up SilenceMusic it takes over a minute and 30 seconds for the all to load in no matter how fast or slow my wifi is. I’m not even naming all the problems SilenceMusic has.
I gave this 3 stars because i really love SilenceMusic (when it’s working) but had it not been for that I’d be giving it 1 star.
Like everyone else is saying this app is pretty good. It has gotten buggy in recent times that could need fixing. I have emailed the developers to try and fix the bugs. I am sure others has too and it has been months. I hope they fix it. I love that I can link my YouTube playlist
