Great Simple Tool

This yardage book does it’s job very well, I use it every round. When I get to the 1st tee I open it up and immediately it brings the course I’m at to the top of its options list, I select the first hole and boom it’s got my distance to the green. It can glitch and not update your location on the 2nd and 3rd shots, but I’ve found that if you select the hole you’re on again it will update every time. Problem solved. I used to use a bushnell rangefinder but this is more effective for blind shots and I don’t have to worry about shaky hands or if i shot the wrong area with the laser. YardageBook has no other features other than rangefinding as far as I know. And that’s why I like it. Please don’t scrap YardageBook.

Great App!

UPDATE: last couple of days YardageBook seems to be broken. Says it cannot get an Internet connection even though there is a proper Internet connection. Please fix! (June 25, 2019)

Don’t understand all the negative reviews. This is a perfect reference app for when I’m watching the PGA tour on TV. I love the fact that you guys update it with the PGA schedule for the year. I agree some of the stuff can be tweaked that other users have suggested but overall this is a great app, thank you!

Use every round I play

I use it every time I golf. Luckily a lot of the courses I play have some POIs in it which helps. But playing some public courses with only 100, 150 and 200 markers, this makes a difference in getting the exact front back and middle yardage

Can’t log in

Very frustrating. Seems like this could be a very good app, however when I signed up for an account and got the verification email, I could not sign in using my email and password that I created. Now it says that I can’t login because there were too many failed attempts and my account is locked for 30 minutes. Extremely frustrating.

Really glitchy.

Seems nobody has made any attempt to update the UI on this. It’s very glitchy and very limited. Too many apps out there that can do so much more, I guess, that nobody cares about this one

Need to contact dev’s

Seems like it’s broken on iPhone 11. I can’t change courses without closing out of YardageBook completely. That said, provides good info without ads so I’m willing to put up with that drawback.

Must have for playing unfamiliar courses

Free and as effective or even better than yardage guns that cost hundreds of dollars. Use every time I play a course I’m not familiar with.

Great App

Great App if you can get what course you want. Totally free and easy to use. App seems to be not working as of 2/6/20. I don’t know what the problem is but I hope it’s fixed.

Frustrating

If you can find the course your looking for its pretty good but the searching feature is frustrating to deal with.

By

Useless

Couldn’t find any of the courses I searched. The search functionality seems to be broken as I couldn’t even find the courses that were already in YardageBook (i.e. Torrey is listed but searching for Torrey returns no results). Totally useless and not even worth 1 star.

App is not working the same

Recently YardageBook isn’t working the same and keeps taking me to my browser with a blue golf login. Once I do, it’s just not the same. Why did this change?

Great for pre-round prep!

Large course database. Easy to search & find. A must use app for any golfer!

By

Limited golf courses

Only saw a few of the courses in my area

Don’t waste your time

This is a basic GPS app over a yardage book - that’s it. The technology is 1992. There are hundreds of better golf apps. Deleted YardageBook 3 mins after downloading. Don’t waste your time.

Doesn’t work

YardageBook doesn’t let you log on, doesn’t show anything

By

Yardage book?

Shows mostly just a direct line distance to the center, front and back of green. Very few hazards are marked with yardages and there are no yardages I saw on doglegs at all. Fairly worthless

By

P.O.S.

Don’t bother. Very little functionality. Was pushed to YardageBook by their website. But courses I’m interested in don’t pull up. Good idea, but horrible execution.

Broke on iPhone 11

It was a great app before I changed to iPhone 11.

By

Really bad

Simply shows the overall distance of a hole. No ability to interact. No distance to doglegs or hazards. Nothing to show various tee boxes. Overall it is useless.

By

Useless

Doesn’t have my home course. Got locked on another course and could not quit

Not working

Spinning wheel of death constantly... fix please

Why even have this available???

Makes BlueGolf look really bad... why even publish this as an app??
