If you are looking at simple charts with very few metrics (1 or 2) then Datadog is adequate. If you have a complicated system and charts with more metrics don’t bother. Just login to the website on your phone and you will have a far better experience. And because I have Datadog now all my browsing attempts to this app open Datadog that is borderline useless. So I am uninstalling for now.
Design wise there is a lot that Datadog has going for it....but don’t look for any semblance of familiarity. It is like the mobile app was designed on a different planet.
The SSO sign in process is probably the most clunky that I have ever seen on an enterprise app. This isn’t a mobile problem specifically, but the sign in process on Datadog is that much worse because of it.
It appears Datadog was released with little testing outside of the happy path and little weight was put into what people do with this app in the real world.

this app is incredibly powerful. That said, the mobile app is useless. The graphs don’t show proper scales and only show numbers with one decimal place. When looking at percents, that means I’m often looking at graphs with all the same numbers on the y axis. In terms of monitors and alerts, the main thing I want to do is investigate and Datadog doesn’t have any ability to dig into logs, service info, or traces. In other words, Datadog provides none of the power of the this app service, and the functionality it does provide doesn’t even work well enough to give me any information.

My company uses Auth0 sso and login with sso does not work. It sends an email but after login it just displays this app web mobile in Safari.

I use ddog quite extensively but Datadog leaves a lot to be desired. After some short amount of time of not using Datadog and then trying to access dashboards again the dashboards will not load and the only way to recover is close/start Datadog again.
You can not enlarge the charts in the dashboard nor see the underlying query for the chart.
Also the application nags after each resume to rate the application (the reason why I am writing this review).

My company uses onelogin for this app, I cannot sign into that using Datadog. When I press single sign on, it comes up with a prompt to email me the link, when I click the link it just opens safari with this app logged in.

Only show metrics and dashboards. It’d be a lot more useful if the this app logs feature was exposed. The this app experience on mobile in a browser is basically worse than garbage so without feature parity in a mobile app you’re really in the crapper if things pop off when you’re not at your computer.
