If you’re trying to buy an avoid ticket on a partner airline, then app won’t let you search the route! You can’t enter a journey that’s outside the UK. Arrg.

I’m a US user who has had this app for more than ten years. I just tried using Avios again today. Avios defaults to using options that are of use only to UK users, like merchants in the UK using English currency, not US dollars. Although I had logged into Avios , it asked for me to log in again repeatedly when looking for ways to “shop” with this app. It looks like I cannot use Avios to conduct any actual transactions because it doesn’t provide a way for a US user to make Avios use the US options (like Groupon US). Sorry, but I have to give this only 1 star.

Tap Avios and its a seamless transition to some ugly message about doesn’t have OneTrust data, whatever that means.

Never mind, I’ll take a pass and move on elsewhere.

The card tab doesn’t work…just keeps loading

This is the worst App I have ever been on. It keeps asking me for things I have done but will not allow me to check in or pick a seat. It is massively slow and redundant. Who ever designed Avios is an idiot

Nothing is connected: two different apps and two different websites are not communicating with each other. How do they manage to fly at all?!

After multiple attempts at requesting a link to create a new password, I’ve given up! Regardless of using my executive acct # or email I receive no links. If I call BA I get charged a fee for tel. assistance.

Impossible to buy tickets for family when not traveling with them. Shameful substandard user interface compared other major airlines…

Consistently logs you out for no reason, and does not recognize your password. This in turn forces you to reset it; and you can’t use the same password twice.

Waited for hours on the phone trying to clear up questions about combining my family this app. The phone agent wouldn’t listen and was very rude. I sent a complaint to the appropriate email and the response was equally disappointing. No apology whatsoever. I have usually gotten very good customer service from BA.

Downloaded Avios about 6 months ago, and even after all the updates I wasn’t able to log in. Once I enter my login and password, I get thrown back to the login page. Tech support wasn’t helpful, they basically told me they had no idea what was going on. I have a regular iPhone running iOS 13.5.

Nice, I built up a load of Avíos points and then you took away the flights from Denver so I couldn’t use them and when the flights returned you took them away. When I emailed you about the subject you failed to respond. Cheap skates.

I should have accumulated Avois points another way. Trying to get the Executive Club to merge accounts, update my email address, make sure everything is correct has required me to spend hours online, or waiting on hold, I even spent my own money to FedEx a letter to them to try and get someone to clean up this mess. And I still can’t create a household account because they keep telling me that my email address is being used on another account. No kidding. You merged them together remember? This should not be this difficult.

Difficult to navigate around and find things such as Add a Booking. Last version of Avios was much more user friendly

You can’t shop. You click allow tracking on app and it’s an infinite loop and never lets you move forward! Have deleted and reinstalled Avios to no avail. It worked previously so what’s up?

Avios keeps crashing after the last update

I always enjoyed BA even though it is inconvenient for me to fly BA as we don’t have service from Hawaii but whenever I get opportunity of traveling to Europe or via Europe I make sure to fly BA. Flying with BA is always a great experience, staff is excellent including air crew pilots and check-in staff, I am updating my comment to state that after my last experience which was not up to mark but I was contacted and I am pleased to say that they still one of the best when it comes to customer service and value for their clients, even though I don’t live in a place where it is not a convenient to use BA but I make every effort to fly British Airways and thank you for all your services and I look forward to more flights with BA. It is still a world class airline.
