Ad covers popup at bottom of the display. Display font and edit fonts are different sizes! When edit mode font is readable, the display font is yelling it BIG font. No sale yet.

i loved SimpleDiary and used it literally every single day!!!! it was amazing but when i opened it yesterday 1/1/22, every single one of my entries was deleted and i know i didnt delete anything. is there anything i can do to fix this??

I’ve been using SimpleDiary for awhile now almost everyday, I have so much information in it but for the past 3 days now it’s been frozen. I’m so scared if I delete SimpleDiary I’ll lose all of what I’ve done on it. I don’t know how to get ahold of the developers to let them know besides on here. Please help!!!!!

Constantly freezing, when I try to look back at certain days it won’t let me select and then freezes. I’ve tried to back up to ICloud since it been a couple months and after 2 hours it’s still just loading nothing happens.

I’d like to transfer data from my old iPad to the new one. I’m refusing to pay $7.99x2 to do it. That’s dumb. Everything else I was able to transfer by Bluetooth.

I absolutely love SimpleDiary as it is and I’m glad it’s not cluttered with unnecessary features.

The only thing that would make it perfect is adding two markdown features; *italics* and **bold**

Otherwise a perfect notes app!

The ONLY thing I would like to see added is a way to create separate journals. I would love to see that feature added in the future. Even if it was a premium only. I would DEFINITELY pay the full premium price for that. But otherwise, for me, it does quite seem worth the upgrade without access to that additional feature. But it is still my favorite journaling app, so far. And that’s mainly because it is not glitchy, and it doesn’t crash all the time, like other journaling apps that I’ve used. Plus, it’s simply designed and gives you a decent amount of creative control. so, overall I really like SimpleDiary, and I loved to see that feature added to really make it a perfect journaling app for me.

I LOOOVE SimpleDiary for its simple design compared to all the other diary apps, but sometimes, it’s too simple. I wish there were more colors and fonts, and I also REALLY wish you could put certain entries in one font while others are different instead of it customizing the entire diary. However, these are my three main complaints.
1. SimpleDiary NEEDS italics and bold added, and maybe also underlining or crossed out. I saw another review also complaining about this, it is one of the biggest annoyances.
2. the color choices are very lacking. I think a color wheel should be added for users to customize the exact color they want for their background and also header/buttons.
3. the iCloud backup thing is a little stupid, I think we should be able to just sign in with email and password and for it not to cost premium for that. I once had SimpleDiary erase all of my entries and temporarily moved to another diary app, however, I came back and bought premium but I doubt many others will do this. If you can’t add email and password sign-in, at least make the iCloud backup free. Every other diary app has that huge advantage on this one.

Simple and easy to use in iOS both iPhone and Ipad. However, for those serious writers, a much needed version for Mac OS is needed and better cross device integration to be able to pick up where you left off…

I searched for a diary or journal for several years.
I even tried a couple. But this simple Diary is the only one that fits the bill. I’ve only had it 3 years, but it keeps my info daily, & with pictures if I choose. I am a premium member. I recently purchased a new iPad and updated it with the journal for no extra fee. I’m still trying to bring my history to this iPad, but not really sure I will. I’ve got it backed up to my iCloud, so not sure I need the last 3 years taking up space on this device.

SimpleDiary is great! The only thing I don’t like is that there is no autocorrect. Many errors occur while typing. I definitely recommend SimpleDiary, but I hope this gets fixed.

After my retirement 6 months ago I wanted to start a journal. Basically it was frustrating. I bought a couple journals but neither satisfied my needs. This is perfect for me. I can add entries as they happen and it’s actually fun!!

So like it’s really good but it is missing some things. So first, there’s a bug where it randomly crashes. Second, my grandma was reading it but she accidentally deleted it. And I can’t get my hard work back. Can you pls add something to restore deleted things. Edited. I updated it and it came back thanks

I have to type in a different app and copy and paste it. Pleaaaase, enable autocorrect! I wish there were more colored themes. I paid for the premium, but there didn’t seem to be any new themes.

This is an affordable app and easy to use. I just wanted a place to write down my daily thoughts and feelings and able to change fonts. After trying g out many other, this is the one. The layout, the ability to change colors and that it allows to add pictures is perfect. Thank you creators.

I love the simplicity of SimpleDiary, but I feel like a diary should have more personalized settings.

I also would love if auto-correct was available because typos happen a lot when writing.

I feel like there should be more layout options and it would be great if you could make a setting that could make it look like a day planner. Maybe even offer suggestions for things to write about, like what you did today, or what goals you want to achieve.

I’m not sure what SimpleDiary developer is going for, but as far as simplicity goes —they nailed that. I just think there could definitely be more personalization settings so SimpleDiary could feel more personal and like my own.

SimpleDiary is great, and the lock actually works. The one thing I would suggest to change is when you are setting a time instead of 7:00, it has 7:0, 7:1 and so on. Also when you open SimpleDiary , just before it shows where you enter your passcode it shows your writing for a second, and this may not seem like a problem for most, but it is for me with my sister.
