I purchased the trainers kit back at the end of May based on the advertisements for soccer based activities that were included free in the app. After a delay in shipping and getting around to setting the pods up for the start of soccer season (mid to late June), I find that all the content promised is now at an additional membership cost.
I reached out to the customer service to see what they would do about it and they told me all of the previous content is still free. It’s not. I can only customize one activity (reaction time) and have a small handful of activities to choose from. None of them are soccer related.
The real salt in the wound is that I paid more for the kit than they are selling them now with a membership. In fact, the kit I purchased is no longer available on there website where I purchased them.
I get the membership if you are using these in a commercial setting as a trainer. I am a volunteer soccer coach trying to bring something cool to help the kids improve. I am not making money using these.
TLDR:
Purchased kit just before they announced “membership”. Paid premium and now have reduced functionality. BlazePod response is “too bad, so sad”
The upside is the hardware is good quality. The app seems to function well, but has very limited content without paying out 150+ yearly for membership.

When my PT brought these out to work at balance after my 2nd brain stem surgery and both sides of balance nerve cut in both surgeries while standing on a foam mat these pods were challenging but awesome. The redid their store and took out the bundles instead you have to buy everything separate which ends up costing more. They then changed their app to where you have to pay $150 yrly to access preset routines and create your own. You already spend a good amount for the pods to only realize you have to dump $150 yearly to utilize routines. I could understand adding extra features in the app that are in app premiums that you pay for like the majority of apps offer!

Had no idea we were buying extremely expensive pods that then require a $10/mo subscription to really use. There’s a few free activities but any customization and/or most of the pre-programmed activities require the subscription. Disappointed. Buyer beware!
