Deliv - Driver Delivery App Reviews

Deliv needs some major upgrading by some sophisticated app company because right now it’s too basic . We should be able to text the customers with an anonymous or coded number , we should be able to rate customers as well , we should be able to book way more hours as it gets frustrating when you put all your Hope on working hours only to get way less hours, etc . Dispatch needs to be more communicative as they leave you in the dark and I think it’s because they’re way overstaffed. Besides that the pay is good and better than the other tech-savvy side gigs I do per weekly earnings. You could make over $500 doing 28 hours but like I said major upgrades to the dispatch and app is imminent.

The update is nice and functionality is good, but there is a bug that if I click my ‘Profile’ (my picture in the top left) Deliv crashes and turns off. I can’t get anyone from this app to respond on how to fix it. I can’t check any of my settings or even submit feedback because it will crash. The other parts of Deliv work fine though when delivering.

Nice update but I believe it still needs a few tweaks. I think there is one too many steps in Deliv . I parked in chicken seems to be the same to me. Not sure if there is a multiple packages scan. It would be nice if you would bring it back. For a wow I was getting text from dispatches asking if I delivered a package. By then I was already on my next drop off.

It’s pretty user friendly. Still a ton of steps to pick up an order, which okay. I can live with. But it’s been 3 weeks and every week I try to get hours I can’t because of the traffic on Deliv at 9 pm. I’ve had good WiFi and tried cell service. It’s increasingly frustrating. Please fix? Thanks.

Nice features with the updated app. Needs tweaking as there is no space anymore for notes for dispatcher to advise when a customer states, “do not ring bell baby sleeping or leave package in front of door”.
Also, no pre-notice to dispatcher that driver will be late to deliver as there are traffic issues or no parking.

No other company charges for background check. This company charges $39. It costs the company $30. They make $9 for every background check. Here is the price breakdown this app is charged from CHEKR. I called CHKR and asked for a price quote on 100 background checks a month. $25 for National & county check then $5 for driving record. The price goes down with more checks. So they could be making more. Just be advised NO company ever charges the employee for a background check. Except this one!

These APP-based companies are getting more and more incompetent as time goes on. I had a VERY unprofessional experience with 80% of this app staff. It would be nice if they acted professional/competent and knew how to treat people [in general]; once they figure that out they may actually last more than a year, we shall see! Please forward my feedback to management and thanks for doing so on my behalf. The compensation is terrible so take my warning to NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME!

At first it looked promising but after a week working I realized it’s not worth it, they charge you for background fee, it’s really difficult to get good schedules and when you get it they don’t calculate your work right, they pay by PayPal which I hate, you don’t know how you’re doing they the week until they sent you the settlement, they change your pickup while you’re on your way, PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Deliv ’s call feature doesn’t work!
Why??
When I first started using Deliv , the Call feature was working. Now, for several months, it just stopped working. Why? My phone is an IOS 7+. I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall many times but still doesn’t work.

New app makes handling deliveries way less confusing. Could still use some improvement, but it’s a step in the right direction

Why i say better hours because if you book for 8hrs them you work only 4 and they only pay for 4hrs not 8hrs you guys should pay the 8hrs time is gold not waste that’s means there should among of drivers the day not alott so we can works all 8hrs not 4 plus the gas is going UP and should pay more them 0.50 cents per miles....

After the iOS 13 update- the ability to refresh with a pull down gesture is gone - instead it closes the page which is extremely unhelpful when trying to get hours during schedule release.

They took over and it’s a complete nightmare. We live in a city where high income is necessary... pay $13 or anything less is ridiculous and you will get sued like the rest of the apps who try to pull a fast one. Bring back Zipments who paid us our worth or just leave our city!!!

If it’s not available everywhere in the US then it shouldn’t be on the market thank you for wasting my time by poorly placing the part where it’s only available in certain areas go play in traffic you’ve earned it 🙂
