Can’t add measurements manually? Shapez is pretty much useless without that function.

Pressed check mark to save pics and it’s at 100% but does not save at all. If you close Shapez and reopen it says would you like to save your previous progress and when you do it does the same thing and doesn’t save. I see other reviewers are reporting the same issue and you still haven’t fixed it.

Shapez used to be great for tracking and comparing progress pictures but ever since it switched from allowing Facebook login, it’s been unusable. If you try to login with another service it says there’s already an account associated with that email (duh but I can’t use that account anymore?) and then if you finally get in using the original login there’s invite loading screens when you try to upload pictures. I don’t use it often so I tried to give it a few months to see if the bugs would resolve but it’s just time for me to find a new progress pic app

Shapez will not save your picture was of time. Don’t both

Shapez literally pops up 3 ads every couple minutes. It’s annoying. Not to mention you can’t fix the photo properly EVER! Shapez has a lot of potential but I will not be downloading it again

Shapez is not easy to use. I can’t see my old data, once I put in my new. My old pics were not saved from old phone to new. The functionality of the free version is basically useless.

I’ve tried with two different emails to register and I have never received the verification email to log in. I have looked in spam and any other folder it could have went into. Very disappointing.

I’ve waited ten minutes on 100% saved. The pictures will not fully save. If I try to exit it will tell me the next time I open Shapez that the progress photos are still only a draft.

The UX is not intuitive and the UI elements almost get cut off on the edges of the screen

Hey! I downloaded Shapez in October 2024 as I was getting ready to help my mom do a weight loss challenge. I found Shapez to help us both see the differences about every 2-3 weeks. However when I went to go do our most recent progress it said I had reached the limit of photos for free. I am upset about this just because why would it wait til I go to upload another picture for it to be said? I’d prefer if that app would say something like “hey since you’re using the free side of Shapez you can check your progress up to 6 photos” or something like that. I know have to go find another app that could possibly do the same thing but for free. I don’t mean to be rude or complain but I appreciate heads up before we lost 4 months of progress practically…

I like all the features of Shapez . It offers everything I’m looking for because it’s simple. My only complaint is previous pictures take an unusually long time to load. I decided to write this review because it’s been about 15 minutes and they still haven’t loaded yet.

I like Shapez, it supports plenty of measurements and had a nice UI, most other apps for tracking body measurements look very dated. Having the password protection is a nice plus too!

My only suggestion would be to have Shapez not load with your picture, in case you open it when people are around, maybe having some sort of dashboard or open in the Measurements page.
Being able to add new measurements without a picture would be nice too for when you’re in a hurry.

I really appreciate that Shapez has a timer for photos, an overlay so you can line up your photos, and that the gallery is password protected.

The two things I would change:

1. Give the option for longer passcodes than a 4 digit number (better security)

2. Don’t have the start up screen when you login be the progress photos

Other than that, I enjoy Shapez’s features and look forward to any updates.

This is a simple app to use to take pictures of weight loss progress. It does get a bit glitchy now and then by not saving a recently took picture so make sure it saves! The only thing that I'm confused about is why it needs to be connected to wifi, it would be nice if it offered an offline option.

Edit: I see the feature now for unlimited photos at only a few $. That’s much better!

Free total access use for a year now and out of nowhere they enforce a paywall because I’m out of “free photos”…? What? Maybe if you want to convert current free users into paid, you actually ease them into it versus completely 100% block them? That just makes me want to delete Shapez out of annoyance.

Give long term users a few more free credits so that they can decide. Also, $7 a month or $60 a year is laughable. You should also charge by the photo or times you take the 3 sided progress photos. I only use it 1x a month, why would I pay $7 a month for that?

It’s got all the features I need and is super simple to use.

Great for progress pics if you’re trying to slim down or bulk up. It’s easy to use and I like the ghost image interface, very helpful.

I like all the features! I am able to track the body parts of my choice, my weight, and upload pictures. I love that it is able to be password protected, I don’t want everyone to be able to see my pictures I have taken

Absolutely love Shapez, i have been looking for an app where i can track my progress.
