I bought the app in January. Continuously froze up, missed shots, long delays until it showed the shot and often had to be rebooted. I ran it on a newer IPAD that meets all of the specs. When I disconnected the e6 app and connected the Garmin app the device worked fine. I called Garmin they said to talk to e6. I called e6 and they said there is nothing they can do about it, they suggested I buy their tracking device and they are unable to refund my money. They said I need to get refunded through Apple. I filled out the Apple refund/issue ticket for the App Store and they continue to decline my refund and apologizing. I tried to make this work for weeks and in the end I sold the Garmin and bought a skytrak. I called e6 to see if they can transfer their software license to skytrak and they said no. They told me to get a refund through the App Store. Unbelievable waste of $300. Trugolf e6 and the App Store should be ashamed of themselves for selling software that does not work well at all. I never write reviews but this one is worth telling others so you do not waste your money. Read other recent reviews and there are many like mine complaining about the same poor performance of the e6 software.

I have been trying to use E6 Connect with my Mevo+ on an iPad Pro. I get the same error message, “Device not connected”, as another reviewer got 2 years ago! The E6 developers don’t seem to care about resolving this issue. The advice I got from an E6 “CX Software Specialist” was to (1) turn off ALL other WiFi devices in the home, turn off all other applications running on iPhone and iPad, (2) that E6 Connect uses FlightScope’s connectivity and communication (I.e. it’s not OUR problem); And the best one yet: (3) that Mevo+ devices are subject to static issues so, if you’re using a turf or artificial grass, or have forced air heating, this specialist recommends using a spray bottle of 50% unscented Downy fabric softener and 50% water, every morning before use, lightly spray down all the turf floor. Or you can add a humidifier to the environment, blah, blah, blah.
I am giving up on trugolf and E6 golf, since there has apparently not been much effort in resolving these long standing issues.

As the title says. E6 doesn’t actually use raw launch monitor data to determine what your shot looks like; it relies on you selecting a generic club prior to the shot and then bases it on that. Realized that when I had a 165 ball speed shot with my driver…but had SW selected, and the ball went maybe 95 yards. Completely pathetic.
That’s if you can even get the app to work. I am currently unable to even sign in to the app and play with a new mobile license I changed to - it is stuck in an endless loop that requires “the profile owner” (me) to sign in to connect my new license, but kicks me out when I press “login”…because I’m not logged in.
Just completely atrocious design all around. No part of this app works at even a passable level. Complete waste of time and money.
