I’ve just installled Pretext on my iPhone, iOS 16.7. always says that I created a new file but when I click CLOSE nothing happens. It doesn’t close. In FILES it says waiting to sync and when I go into my iCloud settings I don’t see pretext as an app that can use iCloud.

How to fix Pretext app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Pretext app on iPhone
Update Pretext app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Pretext iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Pretext on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Pretext network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Pretext Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Pretext not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Pretext App
1. On android, goto Settings » Pretext » click [Force Stop]

Update Pretext to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Pretext App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Pretext » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Pretext.

Fix Pretext unable to contact server/ Pretext internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Pretext » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Pretext » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Pretext
