I was really excited to try this app’s mobile app. Their desktop, browser-based platform offers one of the most comprehensive property management systems on the market. However, I perform the vast majority of my business on the go, so having a mobile-friendly platform is very important to me. Unfortunately, the this app app just isn’t there yet. You can see conversations, calendars, and tasks, but that’s about it. You can’t add reservations on the go (let alone generate quotes to send to potential guests). You can’t update reservations (unless you want to change the check-in time). You can’t make updates to listings, and you can’t see performance metrics. This is incredibly frustrating, particularly since the mobile version of this app’s site is clunky and difficult to navigate. Essentially, this creates a backlog of tasks for me that I have to wait to do until I can get in front of my computer.
On whole, I am pleased with this app as a platform, and I love it’s smart calendar rules and fairly robust integration with a variety of platforms. However, the barriers to mobile management are a real bummer. I wish they would fix this, as the lack of mobile functionality really limits the usefulness of the product.
