In the Watch app, Apple’s HealthKit is used to collect heart rate and exercise data, and at the end of a run, the workout is saved to Healthkit. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Suggestion
The app should have a way to narrow down race selection to areas of interest. Also, to “pin” the races to a profile so that races ran can be keep as keepsake and the information of races to be run can be easily accessed.
