LifeCoin is cool for someone who tends to go for at least one-hour long walk a day it’s pretty cool.
The issue I have is the actual math behind it. Any gift card is $50 dollars and costs 2500 points. You can also get stuff like various Apple products, a Fitbit, wireless beats headphones, and even a scale. Those all vary in how many points it costs though.
So each point is 1,000 steps. So a gift card is 2,500,000 steps.
I take about 10,000 daily, higher than the average American. So I should be able to get a gift card of my choice in 250 days. But wait, this also has a limit of how many points you can withdraw in a day. Since I don’t have a membership that means it’d take 500 days, over a year for one card. Maybe I wanna shorten that down, get myself that $40 membership for a full year free and I can take out those ten points every day and providing I never miss any day, get hurt in any way that impairs my movements, forget to withdraw, experience no technical issues, I get my $50 gift card that cost $40.
Considering what other reviews say about LifeCoin not properly validating steps, drawing battery in minutes, and having bad customer support I’d say pass on LifeCoin.
