In my opinion this is one of the best rugby league apps. For one monthly price you can watch every match from every round of the Telstra match. Men’s- women’s- and State of Origin. You can watch matches for the past 3 years. Video and audio quality are great. Might be a bit high priced to some people but I love being able to pay a set price and can watch all matches from all round for the current and previous years. I wish other leagues had similar apps and prices. I frequently watch matches from previous years. I think they only way the NRL app could be better is if they had a library of all matches since it’s inception but I realize that’s all tall order. I love WatchNRL regardless of it only having a few years matches on offer. Great very video and audio quality. And absolutely no commercials!

I’m stoked to be able to watch NRL on a reliable platform. My only complaint: I don’t recall this issue happening last season, but throughout this season WatchNRL stops playing several times per game and states each time that an error had occurred during playback. I then miss several seconds of live action before I can resume watching again. Very annoying.. and you never know what can happen within seconds! For how god awful pricey a subscription is, I would expect it to run smoothly.

Thankful for access to the content. However there is no ability to rewind or fast forward with any control. No ability to review. No ability to do anything with control other than PAUSE and PLAY.

WHY??!? It is sport...customer want to be able to review, rewatch and control the content. However with this sluggish app all one can do is drag a significant amount (minutes worth!) along the stream bar and hope then wait. Minutes upon minutes.
For hundreds of dollars this is what you get from the folk at FOX.

Why?

Can you imagine NHL or any other sport only offering PAUSE and PLAY as a control mechanism.

For the price it’s unacceptable.

Please update or refund.

I wish there were other options.
More than 6 months since an update?
No PIP, want to be social with friends and family that are also watching the game? Forget about it. You can pick only one thing at a time.
Heavens forbid that you move from a Wifi area to cellular or opposite, expect it to drop out.
If you download a game it doesn’t mark playback, so if you have to do something else and then come back to watching your favourite sport you’ll have to workout where you left off.
Same if you decide that you want to switch to casting from a download.

Literally the only pro for this is that if you want to watch a live game sitting in one place and doing nothing else then you’ll probably be able to do it. Probably.

Doesn’t download most of the time so can’t watch offline (when flying). When it does download the audio and video gets out of sync. Frustrating. For the premium price we have to pay for this as the only way to watch NRL overseas, this is very disappointing

I have lodged three tickets for support over the last two months. Not a single response. When will you fix it or provide support???!!

I LOVE NRL . English living in USA . So excited to watch. Love Matty Johns, Fletch, Hindy even Kenty !! However WatchNRL is a dinosaur. The user friendliness is non existent. Please improve . Why am I watching so many Aussie commercials on a match replay ? App keeps crashing ? Saying I m not authorized etc . Controls for playback are VCR level . Please fix I want to enjoy

WatchNRL has saved my nrl addiction life! Living overseas for a year has made it difficult to support my NQ Cowboys. However, app could really do with plus and minus 15 seconds buttons. Rewinding is almost impossible. I really want to rewatch tackles so know buttons would be excellent.

WatchNRL struggles to pick up my chrome cast even when all my other apps can. Fast-forwarding and rewinding is made extremely difficult especially when watching a live game

On an iPhone X the home bar stays on the screen and pushes the video up slightly on the screen blocking the top bit of the video and sometimes blocking the score

I don’t like that I’m unable to search for what I’m looking for. What’s the point.

WatchNRL does not stop crashing! Continually told I have an invalid subscription despite paying at the start of the season. I have tried logging, reinstalling app & resetting iPad. What a rip off for an underdeveloped program!

ON NOW... Tonga vs New Zealand supposed to be LIVE, but it shows a repeat of an old game... DONT BOTHER

Game flickers when watching. Can’t fast forward / rewind reliably at all. App freezes all the time and when it doesn’t it’s barely responsive. 1 star. Would be zero stars but that’s not an option. App version hasn’t had an update in 9 months - your support team responds to reviews asking people to log a ticket/s but clearly nothing is being done about said tickets given it’s been 9 months without any updates. Given the premium price, and now the inclusion of ads, this is ridiculous. Clearly no commitment to customer satisfaction nor quality. Have some pride in your work.

I’m so happy to be able to watch some forty with WatchNRL. Would be nice to make it a little more user friendly but I can live with it. The only real complaint is the amount of times WatchNRL crashes. Without fail WatchNRL will close 2-3 times while watching a replay. I love my footy and like to watch every game. Living in America, I can’t watch too many live so I have to rely on the replay but it gets frustrating when WatchNRL crashes. Once that is addressed it will be great.

I am still seeing the 2023 ladder and we just finished round 2 of 2024. Your help and support info is 6years old and inaccurate. You charge to much to have such basic issues.

I cancelled my subscription over 2 weeks ago and still waiting for my refund. I have reached out to their team 5 times now and still do not have my money back.

Do not subscribe to this platform, they will take your money and not return it !

Ordered it for my Dad visiting the US last September and haven’t been able to successfully cancel it since. Doesn’t show up on my phone or TV subscription to cancel.

I’ve had WatchNRL since 2022. It was simple, easy to use & worked well for 2 yrs. But the 2024 version is slower, and fails regularly.
