Opening app starts (and wastes) 7-day free trial

I downloaded the app today to check it out and see if/how I could use it in my classroom. I wanted to become familiar with it before I tried it out in my classroom.
It doesn't tell you that you're activating your tiny 7-day free trial when you're prepping the app. Now I likely won't get to use the app at all during the free trial because we have a 4 day weekend, plus I lost today because I downloaded it at night. That gives me a whopping two days to try out a product that doesn't even give you an after-trial price list.
I'm sure this is a fabulous app. I've heard wonderful things. It's just too bad that they don't tell you ahead of time that opening the app will initiate the trial.
A great tool to help create an equitable learning environment!
