Imagine reading a simple story, written at an elementary school reading level and having it divided into tiny pieces. Then after you read a few sentences and look at a few stupid pictures, the game tells you that you must wait another 4 hours to read 2 more sentences (or you can pay them crazy amounts of money to be able to keep reading their super crappy book). Then sometimes there’s a “checkpoint” where the game forces you to buy a vanity item to make your character stylish enough for the next scene in the story but they make that vanity item cost an in game currency that takes forever to charge up. Then it’s like the game is saying “Pay me $30 to keep reading, or wait days to read the next part”. DearOtomeShallwedate is one of the most retarded apps I’ve ever downloaded. They should pay you to play their stupid story app and no one should pay them a single dime.

PLEASE DON’T DELETE THESE GAMES FROM ALL THINGS!!!!! Many, and I mean many of the fans are willing and okay with a version of story jar, or dear otome, for those games that you are wanting to completely get rid of, many of us still play some of the first ones that you came out with, like my sweet prince, destiny ninja, and destiny ninja 2, niflheim, ninja assassin, ninja love, angel or devil, ninja love, and many, many more. We would like to continue supporting these games, as well as the newer up and coming ones, maybe create an app that is similar to story jar/dear otome, and put all these games into it. I can GUARANTEE, than nearly all of your loyal fans will download this game, help spread word about it, share the press about it, and express how much we love these games, if you haven’t noticed by now the tons of messages you must have received that are similar to mine, through all social medias and emails, and know the support you have behind these games. Please din’t tear these games away from us. Please. I am expecting a reply, and will wait, I have many more ideas, and recommendations as well. Please, I would love to work with you all. To continue to let these games be played for the younger generation, as well as for the fans that have been there since the start like myself. Please, please respond, I anxiously await your reply.

I love the majority of stories on DearOtomeShallwedate, except the ones on Wizardess Heart. The stories on that particular “app” are hard to completely get through because the main character (you) is painfully aloof and over reacts at every.
I had started reading Azusas story lately and wowweee, I have a huge issue with it IT GLORIFIES ABUSE!! Azusa hurts the main character a lot but for some dang reason she keeps going back to him, insisting that she can fix him! I get this is just a story but it’s such a dangerous mindset to have. Younger girls who read that particular story may think that men who display Azusas traits in real life are just struggling and sad men that can be “fixed,” when they can’t and they’re just abusive.
I really want Azusas story to be removed honestly. It’s quite gross that they thought it was ok to publish it with such dangerous undertones.

I’ve been playing these games and honestly they’re so fun! But the only draw back is you can only progress in stories by using story tickets. And you only get 1 story ticket every 4 hours(you only get a max of 5 at a time). This would be fine except you need SO many story tickets just to read for like 10 minutes. In 10 minutes I could probably use like 15 story tickets, so it takes a story I could binge read in one night and drags it out and I’m so impatient and wanna finish it so honestly I hate the use of story tickets. You can reduce the story ticket times by 30 mins if you watch an ad but that still doesn’t make it much better. These stories are soo good I just hate the story tickets and how long you have to wait for them to recover. It just doesn’t make sense that you would have to wait like 20 hours just for 5 story tickets that you’ll use up in like 5 minutes of a story. If anything it could at least be so you get a story ticket every 30 minutes and the max you can have at a time is 10. That would honestly be so much nicer and easier and would make these games so much more enjoyable. Pleaseeee, cuz waiting honestly is so aggravating. I really get into the stories and then have to wait forever and it’s just making me lose interest in DearOtomeShallwedate.

The games are wonderful, and their stories are really interesting and make you want to keep reading. The only two problems I can immediately spot and have issues with, is the prices and the shops in the games like Ninja Shadow and Lost Alice. It’s definitely really expensive, I understand the need to make money but even the smallest things cost so much. With little chances to even work your way to it. And scrolling through the shops is a bit painstaking, with the other games they give you options to select what type of item you’re looking for and you can find it more easily but with their shops you just have to keep scrolling or take a guess. Overall the way everything is designed is lovely.

I’ve been playing these games for 5 years and I adore the shall we date games. I’m way to emotional for my own good but learning and going through things with the characters makes me feel a heck of a lot better when I’m feeling down or depressed. I’ve found myself always going back to these games, but I’m not giving a five star rating because I find the ticket and money system a little to grabby. One ticket every four hours and a max of five at once is not a lot and the slot games are really hard to play at unless you spend money. I think it would a really good idea to add another story ticket slot or other rewards along with certain amounts of coin purchases over time. Offering more reward and keeping the person interested rather than frustrated.

Don’t let my title fool you. This game is great! Absolutely addicting! But my biggest problem lies in how many micro-transactions are needed in the game. There is a way to earn free diamonds (or whichever the main currency is in the game) but the third party that you go through is tedious and has you spend more time and money anyway by using other apps, starting a subscription, going to shady websites for quizzes, or buying other expensive things. You can earn in game currency that is separate but you barely use it. I have more coins in Love Tangle than I have in my college fund and I never really use them. That’s my biggest gripe about DearOtomeShallwedate and I wish there were more ways to use up the in-app currency. Aside from that, the stories and characters are great and unique. And don’t get me started on the art because it’s beautiful. So, if you have the money, play all you like. If you can’t invest real money in this game, it’s playable but you’ll be taking LONG breaks while you earn the extra premium currency.

Just finished my first route in Wizardess Heart. The story is good and the writing much more solid than Ive come to expect from mobile otome games. The only awkwardness was the use of “wizardess” and “buddy,” which seems like probably a translation issue. Over all, I enjoyed it.
However, I also had to get absolutely obsessive about completing tapjoy offers in order to earn enough coins to get the premium routes without spending real money. You can enjoy the full story for free, but it’ll take a while and, unless you exploit tapjoy for coins, you'll miss out on the best bits.
One bit of advice for getting through chapters faster— make 50 friends as fast as you can, and greet them all once a day. Greeting will net you 30 lune a friend. With 50 friends, thats 1500 lune, with which you can buy 10 ticket fragments, which translates to two and a half extra story tickets a day. With that and taking advantage of events, you can zip through stories much faster without spending real money.

Despite how fun it is, each “chapter” is only a few dialogue scenes that lasts for at least two minutes or less, until it’s over. The fact that it takes four hours to earn a ticket seems ridiculous and I can’t spend my time on DearOtomeShallwedate all day just to make the process go by faster. What also bothers me is that when I end a “chapter”, and watch an ad to earn extra free Stars, and then it leads me to a new page that says I have earned the stars, I go back, and my ticket time has reset. So then I have to wait longer and re-watch ads to gain back what I lost. This seems like a glitch and I feel like it needs to be fixed soon. The art, storylines, and characters are absolutely amazing but because of this, it’s hard to enjoy them. It would also be nice if we could make accounts on DearOtomeShallwedate/bind our emails with our accounts to save our progress, etc.

I remember a long time ago I played this game obsessively. I absolutely adored all the characters, but especially Sherlock’s route since he was the very first one I chose. I couldn’t help, but want to play his story many years later which is now the present. I was slightly disappointed that it was all merged into one, but in the end I was relieved that they didn’t end up deleting this particular story. Replaying it again I remembered all the good times I had with the game and can only hope that they will pick it up again and give it the attention it deserves. I can’t wait to continue catching up with all the new stories I’ve missed and hope to catch any new events if they decide to release anymore. Especially now that I’m able to spend the money I want with no issues at all hahaha. Please I hope you guys pick up the Guard Me Sherlock and give the fans who do love this game the attention it deserves. For anyone who hasn’t played it I definitely recommend this one. PS - Please release the boy group event again so I can relive the giddiness I felt when I was a bit younger adoring these characters.

I will start by saying I am very happy to see some of your older games still accessible here. Guard Me Sherlock, Ninja Shadow, Lost Alice, and Blood in Roses all hold a special place in my heart, even if new routes will no longer be added. However, I am saddened to see Destiny Ninja 2 is no longer available anywhere. I would deeply appreciate it if it were added to either DearOtomeShallwedate or Story Jar, and I am not alone. Thank you for providing some good stories, and I hope to see Yoshimasa again someday!

Additionally, I would love to see more events in Guard Me Sherlock. This is definitely my favorite of the bunch and I miss biscuit collecting events and the like. Currently the only thing available are spin offs, which is appreciated but I would like the chance to get collection rewards again.

Now, normally I don’t leave reviews, but after playing these games (most not included in DearOtomeShallwedate package and sadly taken of DearOtomeShallwedate Store) on and off since I was a lonely prepubescent child, I HAD to review. I am sad they took away some of my favorites, but this game package is amazing! The thing that sets the shall we date games apart is that you actually DONT have to pay to play. These games make you wait, and I honestly think it’s what taught me how to be patient, but the results are worth it. You can chose to wait and gain Jems or jades or diamonds or you can buy them, but either option is freely and openly available. No penalty for not buying!

On top of that the character are amazing! I love every route I’ve played because they each give you a warm happy feeling inside that makes you want to keep playing. And the clothes rock! The events and Gachas are fun and different!

I wish we didn’t have to wait 5 hours for a story ticket, or get 10 tokens in order to transfer that to 1 diamond/jade, and I wish some of the items weren’t so pricey (clothes in game paid not with real money).

Each game is unique, characters are different and compelling, and I will keep revisiting and waiting for them to publish more games. I miss being able to play some of their other games, but these games have been a part of my childhood that I will gladly revisit again and again.

Although I do wish I could pay up front for a single story like how it used to be, because with this system, one story can take so long to complete the “free” way that I sometimes forget certain details or lose interest entirely. If it were that way still, I would definitely spend my money on it. As is, I haven’t spent a single cent and don’t intend to, although I don’t blame the company for wanting to get that 💰by utilizing those pesky micro-transactions. You can still enjoy without spending, so I recommend for anyone who is patient and just wanting to get lost in a good romance in their spare time.❤️

This probably sounds like a sneaky game dev just writing a fake review, but I really do love it. The stories are great and there are so many characters to choose from who all have their own separate story lines so it’s still original and not repetitive. There are different endings so you actually have to really think about which answers will give you the ending you are going for. Although there are premium moments that are pretty much impossible to get if you don’t want to spend money on it, the other moments that you can get are still plenty satisfying, so you can definitely live without the premium ones if you can’t afford them. And I actually like that you can only read so many parts a day, bc if not I would literally never get off my phone and would finish all of the routes way too fast.

I personally think the game devs have a really good app on their hands and should continue the great work!! Y’all are the only ones who can ease the insatiable hopeless romantic side of me!!! Lololol

To start, I should mention what route I chose because it matters to me. I just finished my first route, Randy March’s. Now I won’t say anything about the storyline itself to be careful not to spoil it. It took me a long time to choose between all the amazing characters. It was this way with all, in fact I spent days trying to choose a character in Ninja Shadow. However it seems some descriptions don’t explain much. This can be a set back when it comes to choosing but they have previews for the characters that balance that. The mechanics are easily explained incase you get confused often. While the wait is tricky with the challenges, it’s very rewarding when you finish them. However I must warn you, the last challenge is pretty big so if you aren’t big on waiting, you might get bored. I’m usually patient but I got bored too. BUT the time you spend with the characters makes you attached to them, and no matter how bored you get, you want to see the ending. The happy endings are very rewarding. I’m very happy with this game!

I personally was never much of a fan of Alice in Wonderland, but DearOtomeShallwedate provides a very intriguing take based on the original and expanded with many creative and interesting stories with characters based on old... and new. It almost gives the same kind of feel as the anime “Princess Tutu.” I’ve only read Luke’s story so far, but I can’t wait to read others. The mini game awards you with many mini side stories of other characters that both give you an insight about the character and leaves you curious to read more. I love that you can play this free, for the most part, but the option to buy items are there for a more enjoyable experience if you’re interested.

I used to play all the original shall we date games and used to love each and every one of them! I was so sad to know that they weren’t available anymore when I first got my ipad and they were taken down from the appstore. I downloaded these since the reviews were good and I fell in love with the stories! I wish you could be able to just buy the stories outright like you could in the previous shall we date games, I would definitely buy every single route if that was an option. I appreciate the free gameplay though, I’m just so impatient when it comes to waiting for daily tickets, lol. Overall, I’m super glad that these tittles are available and I hope the developers will consider offering the routes for purchase!

A few years back I downloaded quite an unhealthy amount of Shall We Date+ games. My main focuses were Blood and Roses (I picked Daniel) and The wizard one (I forgot how to spell it, I chose Klaus btw ;)) I made it pretty far but then without me picking a new character in Blood and Roses it suddenly switched to Rubert and at that time I didn’t really have the motivation to restart so stopped playing (or reading in this case) But a few months ago, I was thinking about Klaus. I downloaded DearOtomeShallwedate and immediately started with Klaus. Today I finished Klaus’ main story. ToT I loved this story. I wouldn’t pick anyone else (Klaus is too precious) Kinda sad that I didn’t read the Happy Ending but I will one day. Eventually I saw how Daniel’s story ended. :) (I’m most likely going to focus on the Ninja one and the Love Triangle one)

I really love DearOtomeShallwedate. The art and soundtrack for the games are absolutely gorgeous, the interface is clean and intuitive, and the in-game purchases don’t feel too annoying in comparison to many other similar apps. There’s always some event going on that awards you good stuff, and with just a little bit of patience it’s perfectly possible to get the most out of the games without spending real money.
As for the stories, they are lighthearted and cute. I haven’t read anything that’s particularly intense or heartbreaking - and that’s fine! This is a casual, feel-good game that is meant to be a fun way to kill some time, and it does that pretty well. Also, the wide variety of characters means there’ll probably be several in every game whose route you’ll be interested in, so you can count on having quite a bit of content to enjoy.
Overall, I very much reccommend DearOtomeShallwedate for fans of the genre who are looking for something casual and harmlessly fun.

It may not be the exact same style or way or playing that I’m used to but the core games are still here. I’m glad NTT is taking the health of their workers seriously and not pushing them during the pandemic. I applaud this new and old game. New in the sense of platform and old because the same stories are here. I just recently downloaded this again after not playing for awhile. I still remember only Yukiya, Luca, and Elias being the only options in Wizardess+ but now there’s so many different options. I thought I wouldn’t like how it’s styled but I found it easy to work with and I found myself having the same fun reading I did years ago. DearOtomeShallwedate is amazing and I appreciate the creators bringing it all together. <3

I love all the SWD stories and games. My favorite has to be Wizardess heart and Ninja shadow. I just wish there was more variety in wizardess heart when it comes to story lines and new characters/boyfriends.

There’s a few characters where they’re relatively good but are seeking revenge which will in turn affect a lot of people negatively. However, I’d like to see a love interest with a villain. The closest thing I’ve seen so far are Azusa and Clyde. I’d love to do a route with Viggo, Vain and Zett. You can’t make them that cute and not have a route with them.

Their event stories are cute, but I’d love for all three of them to come as a route. The event stories leaves much to be wanted. Spice things up with a “bad boyfriend”.
