British gas is terrible all I’ve had is no resolve answers. I’ve had my power go out about 5times in the passed week and they are reluctant to have someone come down to check it out but instead be frustrated with me when they are explaining something that should be their job they are being paid for to do over the phone to me.

I get a message saying to download the new app, click it, and the store says not available. The welcome message says I’m still free to use the old app however the developers forgot to put a close button on the pop up so I literally can’t use BritishGas anymore.. just one big pop up welcome message

I installed and reinstalled and keep getting “We can’t display your account details. Tap below to try again”

Contacted the British Gas through the web chat and they were very unhelpful.

They advertise BritishGas and claim it’s so useful - maybe they should have developers update it so people can actually use it.

BritishGas only shows tabs for booking an engineer or my account details. There are no details of accounts - that page is blank. There are no details of tariffs - also blank. There seems no point at all in BritishGas, if I cannot view usage.

Terrrible customers service. I wasted 15 hours with representatives that just disappear when chatting and leave you checking your phone.

I have been topping up my meter and after 4 top-ups, nothing showed in balance.

Can’t get past the login page.
Utterly useless.

They are deceitful.

With each online top up BritishGas asks you if you want to save your payment method. I always select YES but it never gets saved. Bit frustrating but otherwise the online top up process works. Wish there was an auto top up feature though!

Love BritishGas ! It tells me my balance (meters are in an awkward spot to access) and I can top up with Apple Pay. The process takes less than a minute!
