App holds credit card info hostage

I don’t typically write reviews never the less bad ones. PushPressMembers requires you to give your credit card information upon sign-up, but it refuses to let you remove or delete it later. The only method of deleting your credit card info and canceling your membership is via te gym manager. PushPressMembers holds your sensitive data hostage, leaving you vulnerable to potential hacks and breaches. It's astonishing how little regard they have for user privacy and safety. Steer clear and protect your financial information elsewhere!"

Bare bones sign up

There is little functionality beyond signing up for classes and making payments. Competing apps that allow you to enter your performance (times, weights) and store this for you add so much more value to this type of app.

Specific issues: PushPressMembers appears in the Home Screen with the title below the icon as “Members”, which seems lazy and not app specific. The workout of the day shows up when you click on a class to sign up but not in the bottom tab labeled “Workouts” oddly.

Unreliable

This is by far the worst, most unreliable app on my phone. It only allows one program’s workout to show up and I constantly have to do a force delete and re download it just to get it to work. This is very frustrating being a coach and not being able to get in and check members in a lot of the time or it takes forever to load. I have also heard so many complaints from members not only not being able to see workouts but also not be able to see class schedules or sign up for classes. Would not recommend to anyone!

Calendar Accuarcy

The class calendar shows a list of people who are in the class and will show you if you are in the class, but if you click on reserved and look at the people who are in the class it doesn’t match and can show empty spots even though the class is full. Also when you click on a day it more often than not pulls up a class registration for a different day.

The loading speed also needs to be improved. I have tried to register for a class and been stuck on a loading screen for a few minutes, but someone opened up PushPressMembers and told me I was in the class. I closed PushPressMembers and reopened it but I didn’t see I was registered. My app did not register that I was in the class till the next day.

Overall it mostly works but could use some big improvements to make a better user experience.

Create account???

Downloaded PushPressMembers, and when I launch it, it takes me directly to a log in page. However, what I do not see is an option to actually create an account. There are links for “forgot password” and the like, but those links are obsolete if you can’t even create an account. Is there a different place I have to go other than within PushPressMembers itself to create an account? If so, that seems inconvenient.

Works well enough, privacy policy?

PushPressMembers is pretty straightforward and does what it says on tin.

One annoying thing, the calendar integration forces to give read/write access to the iOS calendar, instead of read only. I’d really appreciate a write-only option, I am not sure why an app designed to book gym classes needs to syphon the content of my calendar.

Very buggy as of late

Over the past few months, I’ve had to delete and reload PushPressMembers a couple of times, between not letting me log on and also incorrectly showing class schedules on the wrong day. Works well most of the time, but when it displays the wrong class and dates, it has thrown coaches off from when they are supposed to be leading a class.

What were they thinking?

Most recent update is garbage. They didn’t simplify the interface. I actually have to click two more times to get to the location I need access to, the only reason I use PushPressMembers. Also why in the world do you have to reserve the class and then check in to the class separately. This to me feels like their is no actual user feedback. Hopefully it is fixed.

It’s an ok app.

It seems to do its purpose for the gym owners. As a user, it would be nice to see how many spots are available for each class and who has a reservation. The payment options could expand a little also. I would like to use a bank draft vice credit card to avoid additional fees. It would be cool to see my gyms logo or picture on the home screen rather than a default picture. Not sure if some of the settings are set by the gym manager, but I don’t care for licking out the reservation 15 minutes before class time or limiting the reservation 12 hours prior. Again, it serves it’s purpose.

Fairly efficient phone app

But difficult to use on my iPad because the screen does not rotate to landscape. Just saying "Works on this iPad” does not make it so. Good functionality.

In the old app we used, you could see how many people had signed up. I hate sharing information with FitBit, I have no interest in that "community” but I do know everybody in my gym and it is more fun to go when more people show up. I would think that for the classes I try to get to it would be more efficient for the coaches, too, for us to share who has signed up, or at least how many.

Decent app but could use this improvement

Members works reasonably well for scheduling classes. The schedule view often has issues refreshing when switching between days.

To address the biggest issue though, could we replace the picture of Chad watching Stacy climb a rope on the main screen with buttons for “Classes” or other sections in the menu though? It feels like wasted space.

Great Mobile App for the Gym

Once you learn how to navigate, PushPressMembers is solid.

My main issues with PushPressMembers .

1. The menu in the upper left is not easy to use. It can be hard on some phones to click on the menu bars. Had to help another member and neither one of us could click on the menu bars without getting frustrated. You get used to it, and I can see why it is so small once you get to the next screens.

2. With so much real estate on the Home Screen it seems like you could more easily direct members to the place they need to go using larger buttons. Or at least have some information available on the front screen. Maybe have a gym announcement of the day on that Home Screen? That would be helpful.

3. If you want to track your progress, you need to purchase a different app and you would have to use the same app as the gym to do this easily. Btwb, SugarWOD, or Kilomodo.

Solid App, Few Suggestions

PushPressMembers is solid and I use it daily but I have a couple suggestions:
- Make the main screen useful. Ideally I would most prefer to automatically see the class schedule for reservations but from a UI/UX perspective anything would be an improvement. Don’t bury functionality behind extra taps.
- If I have only one subscription, which is even unlimited, don’t make me pick it from a list when reserving a class.

Gym Owner/ Operator

I love the class reservation feature. It works like a charm and PushPressMembers does almost everything we need for client management. I would love if our members could see who else has registered for other classes that day. I think it would increase class engagement. Same thing for the gym event registration. People can’t see who else is going to an event. Other than those small features, PushPressMembers has been a fantastic addition to our client experience. I am loving it!

Invite option and guests

I like to drag my friends to the gym and it would be great to have an invite option to send them a link with instructions to register and sign up for a class on their own. Essentially recruitment functionality. Right now (as far as I know) it’s a manual process to reach out to the gym or just show up with them day of to get set up. Otherwise app works as intended.

Great app

Members is super easy to use and it’s very useful for scheduling classes at my gym, and syncing those with my iCalendar.

There’s just one bug that I’ve found. When opening PushPressMembers and checking the class schedules it shows a date bar at the top, but usually it scrolls to the left and only past dates are visible. It would be helpful if the date bar tracked the current date, because no one really needs to check there previous class reservations.

Default Screen

My biggest issue is the fact that it always goes back to the last day you logged or whatever you looked at instead of the current date. Can you make it so the default screen is the workout of the day?

Check-ins need enhancement

My gym is encouraging check-ins but many of us find it hard to remember. It would be awesome if PushPressMembers would notify shortly before class begins. Also, why not allow retroactive check-ins? Too often I remember after class but PushPressMembers has already registered me as a no-show.

The Best App and Support

I wasted 24 hours of accumulated time trying two other booking sites prior to finding PushPress. This booking app is soooo easy to set up and the help is unbelievable. They are responsive and provide real solutions that I am able to use so I can make my member experience the best. Don’t wast time with other sites. PushPress is the way to go!

Even better after the last update

PushPressMembers was good before but the improvement after the last update makes it even better
