Disappointed

I was so excited to find YesFit and was excited to get up and get moving and have a T shirt to show for it. Today, I got the shirt. I am SOOO DISAPPOINTED!!! It is NOT a Tee but a DRI FIT shirt. These things do not look good on anyone over 100 pounds. UGH! Even worse, I have already registered for my second race🙁

Update: was told I could get a poly cotton feel shirt “just jump on the chat bubble and they could help me out”! Yeah, so, I just jumped on the chat bubble and someone named Lloyd informed me that those shirts are apparently only available for SOME races and NOT the one I am already registered for🙁. Add that to the fact that YesFit almost never syncs with my phone anymore. I think I will just delete YesFit when I finish this race and get my crappy shirt that I won’t even use for a night shirt, but I do want it because I paid good money for it!

So frustrated !!!

I downloaded YesFit to help motivate me to get back into running.

YesFit is so buggy it’s to the point it’s not even worth stressing out over! I’ve already paid for a race unfortunately, so I’ll probably be forced to finish. Will *NOT* be buying another race.

I’m not sure how I’m even going to finish at this point though because it keeps disconnecting from my Fitbit. I have to manually enter in my work outs which is.. I dunno, not as satisfying.

YesFit keeps freezing on the race page, I cannot select anything or move anything but the map.

When I go into manage devices, my fit bit is connected, but on the race it says no device selected. YesFit will let me select my device to connect if I force close and re-open. So I connect my fit bit. I *ONLY* want it to track my runs, not any other exercise, which appears to be an option when you select your device to connect. So I select run, and it’s connected.....but then it goes and tracks everything. Even daily steps. This is *NOT* how I want to finish this race!!! I want to only track my runs. So I edit the work out and it disconnects my fit bit. Then freezes if I try to reconnect it ...

I have a FitBit versa lite and an iPhone 11. All software is up to date on both devices. Battery is at 89% on the Fitbit (low battery on Fitbit can sometimes be the cause of glitches)

DEVS PLEASE HELP!

Great Concept, BUT Terrible App Problems

I was so excited when I came across this & initially it worked fairly well, though not perfectly. Now after more than a year lof spotty uploading of data to app, with the past 9+ months not being able to upload at all either on website or in app, I’m ready to call it quits & write the money I put on my races off as a loss.

It doesn’t pull data from apple health. It doesn’t pull data from MapMyWalk/hike/fitness. Manually entering data is incredibly painful as the fields are erased when you switch tabs. I have to write it on paper in order to enter it into YesFit that is supposed to pull data for you.

I thought the updated app would be better, but it’s even worse. It’s full of error messages and just unusable. Searching for help solving issues online is of no use. Just an incredibly frustrating user experience & I DO NOT RECOMMEND YesFit TO ANYONE!!!

Deceiving

They make it as difficult as possible for you to cancel your account. It can’t be done from YesFit and isn’t easy to find on the website. The question isn’t handled in their FAQ section either. Once you do figure out how to cancel, you aren’t able to remove your card information. So they can keep my credit card on file even if I want it removed after I have cancelled my subscription? Unacceptable. Tried getting help from customer service, but they say they need to have someone from a different department contact me within 24-48 hours. It should not be that difficult to remove MY credit card from MY account, especially if the account is no longer active.

*EDIT The developer response would be much better received on my end if it wasn’t demeaning and irrelevant. I understand how a subscription works and didn’t say anything about that. I was frustrated about the cancellation process being difficult and not being able to remove my credit card. Thank you for the refund, but I’m more concerned that my card is still visible when I check the account on the website.

Glitches

There is nothing more frustrating than finishing a work out only to find that YesFit didn’t record anything. This has happened several times even after updating my app and it is frankly discouraging and defeats the purpose of having this product. I’m a first time user participant in the non membership zombie run. I am or was considering purchasing a membership and participating in future challenges however each time I experience this type of glitch I get more and more discouraged from doing so. Also considering the cost, it would be nice to see actual images from google street view at each stop along the way. I’ve seen the same parking lot now for like 5 miles.

Love the races, hate the App

I LOVE this concept and for my first two races, YesFit was mildly annoying but usable. Now it’s stopped pulling from my Apple Health app with the exception of my “Daily Activities,” which I don’t want to use. I’ve been messaging for live help and nothing is working. Also YesFit freezes on EVERY screen and while I’m resigned to manually logging my miles for this last race, I don’t think I’ll be starting another unless there’s a major overhaul on YesFit . It’s way too much work. I’ll stay tuned for updates cuz it really got me moving again and let me connect and race my husband while we live apart, but now it’s just frustrating.

*update* I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting my device, and yes, all of the permissions have always been on. It worked flawlessly until about a week ago. Hoping there’s an update soon because I’m seeing I’m not the only one experiencing this exact problem right now.

Another update: after many updates between YesFit , my phone, and the watch, I’m still having most of these problems. And none of the lag features that were already frustrating have gotten better. I sincerely hope this same concept can be done with a much better app soon. Because I’m officially giving up once I complete the last race I paid for until it’s actually user friendly and functioning.

I see the response and just wanted to add then, that I have been in touch with them through this whole process, to no avail.

It’s fine

I haven’t had any issues with YesFit or races but the size of the women’s shirts bother me. I always have to get the men’s shirts which demotivates me. I’ve gotten women's shirts that say xxl and ended up having to give them to my 9 year old (5’1” and 118 lbs) because they are so small. You should have better sizes for women. This is making women who are larger not want to use your app. After my last races I’m closing out my app. A reason I never did the VIP membership. If the women’s shirts get more in line with the actual sizes then I might use YesFit again but until then I’m tired of buying the men’s shirts. I also hate that you have to chat with someone instead of providing an email.

Customer service not available

YesFit is great to keep you motivated to get those sweet medals! I took a star off because there is no email address or phone number to speak to anyone if you have an issue. They use a chat system but no one can ever resolve your issue. I’ve tried numerous times to talk with someone to get a credit back for an overcharging (their app didn’t apply a heavily advertised special) and I got the run-around. Was told 2 times someone would get back to me and they never did.

Another star was taken away because although the medals are awesome, I saw someone’s shirt for a race and it didn’t look anything like the picture.

Finishing my current races and then quitting this program and doing virtual runs from other suppliers.

Enjoy App but shirts could be improved

I enjoy YesFit. It’s something fun to do while walking. However, I really wish the t-shirts weren’t all polyester. I’d probably buy them if they had options for cotton tees.

Note: first of all, just wanted to point out that the name “unimpressed214” wasn’t something I chose. Odd that I see that come up rather than my own ID. Second, I went down a star after the flip developer response. Sublimating scorches a cotton t-shirt? How ridiculous! I assume they are referring to sweating by this, and I wear cotton all the time and don’t scorch my T-shirt’s. I’ve been to several 5K’s that give out cotton t-shirts. If they want to stick with uncomfortable polyester, I guess they won’t be selling as many shirts and will lose that opportunity for free advertising by their customers.

Love Distance Runs, Would Like to See 5Ks

I like that YesFit allows you to connect with others, run long distances and whatnot. However, it would be nice to see shorter races too - like 5Ks. For beginners, running 18 miles may be overwhelming. I’m not talking about Susan from accounting who hasn’t run since fall. I mean like true beginners who may find even walking 18 miles to be beyond a week’s scope. Why this matters? We all like seeing some sort of “instant gratification”. For some, 18 miles may be outright demoralizing and makes the target audience much smaller. Everyone starts somewhere and having a few options that cater to those who need to start with something small might open YesFit up to more people who want to find the motivation to lose weight, start running, and develop healthier habits.

Was great. Not so much anymore

When I first downloaded it was great no issues. Now 3 months in all of the sudden my workouts don’t upload from apple health, my daily activity showed to sync those if I wanted but I have it set to intentional run, walk, and other workouts that before would sync automatically with no issues but now will not so I have to manually enter all and that’s frustrating. YesFit also lags badly! I have to force close and reopen frequently, takes several minutes for browse races to open and then will freeze, or when scrolling will show races from the beginning as I’m half way thru looking at the different races. Worked great months ago with no issues but now i dont know what happened YesFit is having serious issues and is very disappointing to try to use

Easy to use

I joined after seeing a Facebook ad and figured since I’m now working from home and riding on my desk bike almost all day that I might as well get a cute shirt and medal out of it. My only complaint is the shirts all fit different and to watch what the fabric is, it’ll make a difference in sizing for sure. YesFit is very easy to use and I can accomplish everything right from there instead of getting on a computer.

This app keeps me motivated to move!

I have been using YesFit for about 8 months now and because of it, I just want to move and walk all of the time. I am definitely getting out more and seeing places around me that I never knew was there because I need a mile here or a mile there. I am a walker not a runner and so I need the motivation. The community here is one of the best I have ever found. Always encourage and helpful when someone is in need. We joke that we are addicted but the truth of the matter is... well, I am an addict and I love it! My husband and children even share in my joy of finishing the races to get my green envelopes! Always a great day!

Get Moving and Enjoy the “Sights”

I saw an ad online and the medal looked nice. It was a 59 mile “Road to Hana” race. I wanted to see how long it would take me to log that many miles as my goal is to be able to run a half marathon one day. I’ve enjoyed the report each day showing the portion of ‘the road’ I’ve covered. One star off because it’s kind of glitchy when that GoogleEarth view runs: I can’t tell if it’s at the beginning or the end, and now that I’ve logged a bunch of miles, it would be fun to see it run from the very beginning to where I am now. You can also get credit for ‘daily activities’ so if you’re only using a step counter, it can count towards your goal.
Customer service has been fast and accurate for me, and I’m having fun with YesFit. I’ve also enjoyed the Facebook group.

Great motivation!

I was just starting to run (again!), and it’s always so hard at first because I’m out of shape, so it feels awkward and difficult, therefore not really enjoyable. But I knew if I stuck with it, eventually it would get better. Then I found YesFit. It is so motivating to me! I love to see the street views after my runs, and track my progress on the map. It gets me out on days I just don’t feel like it, because I have that medal and/or tee shirt waiting for me at the end! The Facebook page is also a big plus. Everyone is so encouraging. I would definitely recommend YesFit!

PSA: Not just for runners!

I saw an add for the Dublin Pub Crawl race and thought “What a fun way to get some more steps in!” I have been hooked ever since! Since June of this year, I’ve completed 14 races and logged 550+ miles. The maps are really cool to see your virtual journey. The choice of races are always fun to choose from and the developers are always offering discounts! If you are looking for a fun reason to move more this is a great app! Bonuses include the most amazing support team in the world in the members of this group. If you think for any reason you can’t do something, their positivity and encouragement will make you a believer!

So motivational!!

I love YesFit! It’s so easy to use there are so many virtual races to choose from and it really motivates me to get out and get my steps in every day! It’s so fun to have a goal to work towards and you get to choose what kind of reward you receive be it a medal, t-shirt or both! I’m a huge fan of the medals, they are always better than the picture and it’s an awesome reminder of all the hard work you’ve done!! YesFit is very user friendly and each race has an awesome route that you can virtually follow along with on YesFit so it’s like you’re traveling all over the world with out leaving your house! And, IMO, the price is right for each race. I’ve paid more for live races and gotten less! Would definitely recommend to everyone!

I love this app

Not so much for YesFit it’s self, but for the fact that I can run and get medals without talking to anyone. I’m a die hard introvert and I want rum for medals, however, I hate being around large crowds. This is the perfect way to get medals in things I love and do it in the comfort of my own home and neighborhood. YesFit works pretty well, I can’t say I’ve had any real issues and I LOVE their medals. I don’t have any shirts because I just don’t want them. I do know people that get the shirts and they are good with them. I look forward to doing MANY virtual races with them over the years to come.

Amazing app!

YesFit is amazing! Such a great concept! The developers made exercise more fun that you’d think it could be. As you run/bike/swim/walk/whatever the miles you enter them in (or hook up a device) and you get a street view of an actually place. So far I’ve run through England, Denmark, and Dubai. It’s been pretty cool and very interesting. Once you finish each virtual race they mail you your reward. It’s really pretty cool and a great way to keep you motivated.

As if that’s not awesome enough you also can get access to the Facebook page which is full of so many great people with positive energy and a ton of support.

You have to try at least one race! There’s plenty to chose from and they add more every month!

Fun way to keep on track!

This has been a fun way to keep on track. I was not able to get the tracker in YesFit to work, but it syncs to my Apple Health app automatically so I just use my regular jogging app. The race themes are fun and the swag is good quality. I was worried about the fit of the shirts since I’m a little fuller in the chest than most, but the fit seems good. The shirts are a soft, Dri-fit poly which is nice running material. I did have one shirt that never arrived in the mail. Customer service was awesome and immediately sent me a replacement. I hope in the future there will be an option to create your own custom race. I’d also like to see a race to support those affected by the Australian wildfires.

Yes Fit was great previoulsy, now their customer service and delivery of purchased items has gone down. I completed a in January 2026, none of the purchased materials have shipped as of April 9, 2026. Their chat function just tells me they're awaiting a ship to port with the materials.
