A very frustrating experience

While SightseeingPassTravelGuide works well, we found to our disappointment and after wasting a lot of time that some of the information in the site is out of date. For example, Planet Hollywood only honored dining until 5pm, whereas the site said it was good until 11pm; the site said we had to go to the Grayline Tourist Center in the Port Authority building to get TimeLooper, but that is only if you want to purchase the virtual reality goggles (doesn’t tell you that You can download SightseeingPassTravelGuide and use your smartphone). Not only that, but the site said that Grayline is open until 9pm, but they close at 8m. Also, In every attraction we had to stand in a long line with other ticket buyers, whereas City Pass users always had a special line.
The attractions were all very good and the value is good; just need to be more diligent in keeping the info in SightseeingPassTravelGuide current.

Buyer beware

Do not purchase this pass. I purchased a 2 attraction flex pass for $69 to some things we wanted to see with the intention of using their ‘free entry attractions’
It’s on SightseeingPassTravelGuide , you can view them under attractions.
We called two customer service representatives to be told by both that the free entry attractions are included with your purchase.
Results - they are absolutely not and no such thing as a free entry attraction. Soooo why are they on SightseeingPassTravelGuide ?

End results : it would have been cheaper for us to actually pay general admission to two attractions.
Paying the entry fee would have been a total of $53 and all four of us paid $69!

This is such a scam. We even purchased the insurance with our tickets - a Waste

Expired Pass

We purchased two passes to use for three days in New York. We arrived on Tuesday and decided to use the pass on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so that we could plan our sightseeing and also make some reservations so that we did not miss out on any attractions we wanted to see. On Wednesday we visited the Rockerfeller Centre to book in for the Friday morning and little did we know that by making a simple reservation as per the instructions and recommendations on the pass information it then activated the card without our knowledge and when we went to use the card on Sunday it had expired so we actually lost a day without our knowledge. We had to pay extra to see attractions that should have been covered in the pass. I would definitely not recommend this pass to anyone and there should be a way to make reservations to avoid line ups and missing out without the card being activated prior to wanting to use it. Very disappointed and will be putting my review on all sites for people to see

Can’t use the app

As soon as u click the buy option or login option SightseeingPassTravelGuide crashes and closes out. Useless app.

App crashes when logging in

SightseeingPassTravelGuide appears to work, but as soon as I login to my account it immediately crashes and then can’t be opened again. It needs to be fixed.

Pass is a rip off

Purchased a pass for 4 attractions in New York. Used pass twice & should have had 2 attractions left. When scanned it was no longer active. So I basically lost a lot of money. Don’t waste your money. You will get ripped off.

Card cost more than what I got out of it. Do not buy

SightseeingPassTravelGuide and the web site are not user friendly. Cost me more money to purchase then I received in goods. Had to end up paying for one of the event after wards said the pass was not covered even though the website and app said it was included.

Botched Customer Service

I called to cancel one of the four passes I had due to family illness and the company cancelled all four passes. Rep I talked to was very specific about which pass she cancelled for us even giving me the specific pass she cancelled.

I didn’t know that all 4 were cancelled until we were in NYC in line at the Empire State Building.

Very disappointed in this error.

Confusing and not worth it

Overpriced because you will never do all the attractions to make it worthwhile. If you choose to buy for a select amount of attractions, it’s not worth it because you barely save any money and you still wait in a long line to redeem a ticket. People with passes like CityPass has almost no line the 9/11 museum, meanwhile we waited more than 30 minutes to obtain a ticket. Don’t buy this pass and certainly never buy it from a rebates website because they don’t honor the transaction. Buy your tickets directly from the attraction.

False advertisement, horrible customer service

SightseeingPassTravelGuide glitches. This company has horrible customer service and false advertisement for so many of their attractions. Check out the reviews on Trust Pilot and better business buero, so many other experienced the same. I’d suggest purchasing the insurance if you do buy the passes because getting a refund has been near impossible. Just a heads up.

Only good for Passes

Very disappointed. Hoped I could access at least the Hop on and off bus map. Never mind it would be great if it was interactive.

Also, you can only build an itinerary with the activities they provide/sell with their pass.

Sightseeingpass

Hours of operation should be more clearly posted on app and website!

Loved the personal guided tours so much better than just the pre-recorded. Learned so much from the guides and they were so personable!

Biggest gripe is why you have to find a visitor center to scan your pass, just to get another paper pass to be scanned by the driver/guides at the pick up stop. So much wasted time and wear and tear on someone with bad knees and feet. Why can’t the driver/guide scan your pass and that be sufficient.

Also, at each attraction you visit, can’t there be another ticket agent/line to better expedite the processing the city sightseeing passes and allow immediate security check and admittance instead of waiting for the processing of admission tickets to stand in yet another line to gain entry and security into the attraction?

Maps could have the street designations for each stop more defined. It would be nice as well to include the subway and bus route maps on them too especially for attractions that do not have a hop on/hop off stop close by.

Decent enough deal, but caution…

We chose this pass with an intention for visiting the observation deck at One World Trade Center. The Observation Deck was closed on both days that we wanted to go, not a public holiday, just a regular tue/wed in February. And we were left with not enough time on our trip to plan an alternate attraction.

Unable to activate passes purchased through 3rd party

I purchased a couple of day passes through Viator and am unable to bring them up in app. It seems like SightseeingPassTravelGuide should either allow for scanning or manually entering a pass number. I spoke with a rep at the sightseeing company and he was unable to assist me. Is this a technical limitation or am I going about it all wrong?

Update causes crashes on X

Since the update, the sightseeing pass continues to crash on the iPhone X.

Please fix

Great deal

See all of the city you visit with this pass. Great deal if you map out your day and the attractions you want to see to save the most time.

Hop on hop off bus

This bus trip was really a waste. It went around the same small circle and the driver periodically double parked, ran up to the top of the bus and tried to fill us in on where we just passed.

Great bang for your buck!

We loved the pass and used it everyday on our 4 day trip to NYC. Everyone was very helpful and the pass was easy to use.

Super

Use this apps is very easy and fast!!

New Orleans

We enjoyed all of the tours & activities available from purchasing this pass. If you plan ahead, and make the appropriate reservations needed, you will get the most from your pass. Definitely a great purchase!

Well worth the money but plan each days’ activities

Lots of the attractions require you to go to their website for tickets and some of the lines for people with these types of vouchers are long but definitely worth it.

Keeps crashing

The latest update keeps crashing on my iPhone 6, running iOS 11.4

I can open SightseeingPassTravelGuide , but as soon as I click any menu option, SightseeingPassTravelGuide closes.

I would like to use SightseeingPassTravelGuide for my trip next week, but this is unusable.
