MatchUp Tennis Pickleball Reviews

It seems like it’s perfect for my needs, but it won’t let me have more than 8 players. I paid for the Reporting pack upgrade which says it allows 15 players, but it won’t add that functionality. Please fix this bug. I’m using it on an iPad Pro.

The very simplest mixed Round Robin would be for 6 rounds of 12 players, 6 women and 6 men. It should be very easy to match each woman with each man one time only. The opponents may not be unique for each round but the partner should be. I made a group of men and a group of women and made my draw from the adjacent groups. There were at least 2 duplications of partnerships. Very disappointed in MatchUpTennisPickleball that I paid $16.99 for!!

I bought the extra pack to be able to schedule a 12 person, 6 round, 3 court random doubles tennis drawing. I was hoping to make sure that no on plays on the same court with the same person 3 times. First few schedule put some players with others 4 times and I was able to manually edit. Is there any way to keep iterating until I can get the matchup numbers right?

Is it a one time fee for upgrades or monthly or annually?

Nice app. Would be nice if on round robin to have total score without other factors

I have been looking for an all inclusive program to keep track of social or competitive leagues and this is MatchUpTennisPickleball you want! Easy to learn and use. Does everything I need it to do. A couple of minor corrections needed like giving access to each player to their group so they can enter their own info and view reports, etc. and being able to delete rounds once they are generated. Other than those two things, it is a great app.

I'm using MatchUpTennisPickleball to help a friend create schedules for his PickleBall group. It's especially nice since it's the only app I've found that allows for Mixed Doubles pairings SWITCHING partners every round. Of course, the program doesn't force the switching of 'teams', it's just a nice function MatchUpTennisPickleball supports. The program has many powerful features which I think tournament directors will find very useful.

Just installed MatchUpTennisPickleball for creating weekly Pickleball round robin competitions. Need flexibility in number of players, rounds and courts. From what I see so far MatchUp Tennis Pro fills our needs nicely.
Even more impressive is MatchUpTennisPickleball ’s support. Came across a quarkey problem by using a “/“ in our event name. It caused a file management issue. Matchup support was up to the task and solved the problem within hours. Their response was immediate and thorough while keeping me up to date with their progress.
Highly recommend MatchUp if you are looking for a multi-functional tournament organizer backed by an incredible support team.

I can honestly say I have never in my life written a review for an app, but wish I could shout from the rooftops about using MatchUp. I took over as tennis coordinator at a small tennis club earlier in 2022. We would have social mixers throughout the summer and needed a new way to organize players. I searched high and low before coming across MatchUp. After a few tweaks and understanding how to group people, this was a lifesaver. I received so much GREAT feedback from attendees that they enjoyed playing with different players, switching it up, and not having the anxiety of “gym class” and being picked last to play. I have not had any issues using MatchUpTennisPickleball and cannot recommend it enough. Best money I spent on our tennis club this summer!

I’ve been using MatchUpTennisPickleball for over six months to run my weekly pickleball round robin tournaments. We usually have 8 players however when we run 9 it automatically sets up bye rounds. Great app!

This is a great app for our monthly pickleball round robins ! We use this for setting up games, keeping scores, printing scoresheets, and monitoring on an external monitor.

We used MatchUpTennisPickleball to run a Round Robin tournament with two concurrent pools and 3 different set ups and it went flawlessly! Being able to change players out as needed is a big help (injuries, etc.) as well as the ability to switch groups from intergroup match ups to adjacent and other match ups, and the feed to the external display was good — we only wish the type was bigger so our older pickleball population could see it easier. I also contacted support for help in determining which app and level to purchase and the response was extremely fast and very detailed! Excellent app and fantastic help!!

We needed a better app than what our groups had been using for matching up players for pickleball. MatchUpTennisPickleball works great. I can use this for dividing up our players from 3 groups of players. I don’t use it to the full extent of options but it does a great job for us. Customer service for MatchUpTennisPickleball is unmatched in my opinion. Before I bought it, I asked them a few questions specific to what we would need. The response was quick with examples on how to set it up for our needs. I have a group of 5 guys, a group of 25 men and women and a group of 12 men and women and it divides up partners and opponents with ease for each group. You can your matches to a PDF and print them if you want. Great app and great support!

My friend uses Matchup for his pickleball group & recommended it so now I’m using it at my tennis club. Works well to organize matches.

Excellent app for tennis pairings which used to be a nightmare. Highly recommended for organising competitive matches and fun tournaments

As a retired Tennis Director who ran tennis events for over 30 years and now finds himself running several pickleball groups for fun, MatchUpTennisPickleball solves many of the issues organizers face, gives you creative options for events and will make you look professional and super organized. Obviously developed my someone that has gone down this road!

This is an amazingly well thought out app that helps an event organizer deal with all the challenges of running an organized event and the issues that often occur such as: A) Player late or no shows B) A surprise last minute participant C) A player that gets injured, has to leave early, or just wants a rest. D) Grouping players by different levels, but making the draws look like one inclusive event. E) Flexibility to adjust pairings when needed. I could go on and on, but if you run these types of events, you owe it to yourself to try something that will make it so much easier!
Worth every penny!
