UTR is the global rating for all tennis players, regardless of age, gender or nationality, on a scale of 1-16.5. Three factors go into the rating: 1) Competition: your opponent's UTR 2) Score: Games won 3) Recent history: up to last 30 matches in the past 12 months.
All tennis players can have a UTR, which is a real-time evaluation of skill level based on your actual performance.

UTR is good at first there were problems with my account where I would click on my profile but UTR would just crash but that got fixed for me. Another problem that happened was in the beginning of this year I was this app 4 verified in singles and it dropped to this app 2 verified so for months I’ve been trying to increase it back to this app 4 I didn’t even lose any matches during that time or loose any which was annoying trying to bring it back to this app 4 but I’m almost there I just took a bit of a break since then but I don’t know if something got messed up or that’s intentional but I just thought to let the developers or whoever reads this to know

Nice to have UTR for this app now but there are some missing features from the this app website. There is no ability to create and save player lists and any custom player lists that you have created on the website do not transfer over. Hopefully these features can be implemented in future updates. Adding the ability to message other players is great new feature.

If your kids play junior tennis, you have to use paid version of this app, there is no good alternatives. So I was very happy when I saw UTR - it is somewhat slow and cumbersome to use website version on phone. However, UTR is one bugged disaster: it constantly logs you out and they do not even support Touch ID, it crashes and the only way to fix crashes is to redownload, etc.. And - it just getting worse with the time as app was working fine initially. So I am back to using website version - at least it does not crash.

I’m super fired up about the release of UTR. Being able to see the UTRs of all the top players in my area is going to make finding hits so much easier than before. Now that people’s levels are transparent and you can message them directly through UTR , two big barriers that have kept me from setting up hits with people in the past are gone. Love this!

When you try to direct message someone it stops showing your typing after so many words. You can’t see what you typed after the first couple of sentences. Please fix this. It does post everything you typed when you hit send, but you may have a lot of typing errors that you can’t see to fix before you send the message.

Lot of potential, crashes when using...constantly. Can't do much currently, but it's designed well and with some minor fixes could be pretty decent.

I’m so glad that this app is enabling matches between kids where USTA prevents them. USTA is an awful bureaucracy with preposterous youth tennis rules that end up keeping all but urban elite kids out of matches. this app does the opposite. Where there aren’t enough kids in an age group to play, this app enables them to find similarly skilled players in other age groups.

Nearly impossible to find my own rating. You can only enter scores if every single player is also entered into this app. Hardly anyone is in the this app system, which renders UTR and scoring system essentially useless. Couple that with frequent discrepancies between info on the website and information displayed on UTR – including incorrect match locations-makes this an app I never want to use.

this app is a go to service for me in my job as a coach. There is no better way to assess a players level than their this app rating. If you are looking to find someone at your level as a player, this app will help you get that job done.

I love being able to see the REAL ratings of my friends and fellow league players. Not to mention now I can find new local hits that are at my level. The post score feature is a total game changer!!!!!!!!!

I’m so glad UTR exist because it will be so much easier to check my this app but when editing my player profile, asics were not an option! And if you know me you know I love Aisics please fix this minor error team this app.

I played a lot of tennis matches and saw the scores collected by this app constantly messed up, such as a completed 10 points STB reported as 9:7 or 7:4! Or at any time the this app number you saw will have a 10 decimal digits instead of two digits. We tennis fans joke that this app probably only hires high school interns to do the backend programming. Wonder how you can trust this app’s algorithm calculating the ratings:(...

Giving me lots of non user facing error pop ups about reference objects. Says I am unrated in the top right of my profile even though I am rated in the detail view and have 24 verified matches. Often says there is no data to show in places where I know there is data. And this is all from a rock solid WiFi connection...

This thing is full of bugs. I’ve downloaded, updated, deleted, and reinstalled several times and this piece of garbage app is still crashing every time I click on something. Please fire your developers and find a 10 year old who went to coding camp this summer to fix it for you.
