Tennis Channel Plus, online streaming or with TennisChannel is clearly the worst and most frustrating experience I’ve ever had with any, any service! They claim to have customer service but all that happens is a personalized message giving you rote links to problem solving that has nothing to do with the problem, and then saying this case is closed! I paid big bucks for a one year subscription and then they don’t cover any of the majors. I asked to cancel after one year (first, I tried to get my money back — no deal) and they canceled after one year. My subscription is supposed to be good until next June, but every time I try to get on either TennisChannel or online streaming, it sends me to pay for a subscription even though I already have one. So I can’t access any Tennis Channel Plus games.

I’ve never been so fed up in my life! No wonder this gets such bad reviews!

So I paid for an annual subscription and can’t watch on my home tv with Apple TV. What exactly am I paying for if I can’t watch???? TennisChannel opened when I initially downloaded it and ever since, (during the French Open) and now during Wimbledon, when I try to open TennisChannel , it just spins and eventually gives an error message! What a rip off! Nobody who isn’t a major tennis fan would even pay or download TennisChannel. We pay for the subscription in order to watch tennis! Would love to get my money back if they aren’t going to fix this issue!

This nonfunctional app deserves ZERO stars. Even the regular Tennis Channel won't load. The circle just spins and spins. I pay my cable company (Comcast/Xfinity) monthly for the channel and it's much simpler to just stream it on the Xfinity app. The Tennis Channel's app is utterly useless, and it's clear they're not reading their feedback or they'd be attempting to improve it. As it is, the same issues are still being complained about for years. Don't waste your time with this crappy app.

This if got to be the worst app. I pay $100/year subscription to watch tennis matches. The freaking app has to be constantly deleted , reinstalled and then sign in (which breaks too!). I am shocked that so many reviewers have complained about the same issue and this company does nothing. Their rights to broadcast premium atp and grand slam tournaments should be taken away and given away to the likes of espn and all matches should be shown free.. the organizers get enough from the advertisers

I have purchased a 12 month subscription in June of last year and only have been able to watch a handful of matches because of a glitchy performance of TennisChannel and horrible customer service. TennisChannel keeps rejecting my password, I have to reinstall TennisChannel in order to have an opportunity to try to log in. When I do log in I get no access to the constant because I am a subscriber and not logged in with tv provider. What’s the point of selling subscription if you require your customers to have access through tv provider as well? I tried cancelling the subscription (as I was told I could cancel anytime) but was told that canceling meant not having an automatic renewal and I could not get a refund for a service ai cannot use.
I will definitely make sure none of my friends get TennisChannel and waste money and nerves like I did.

I never write reviews, but I am so sick of TennisChannel and I can’t believe they can’t improve it. It’s not like they haven’t been getting the same feedback over and over. It makes me insane. I have to uninstall and reinstall almost every time I open it. And then I have to log into my provider. This time it has me in a cycle where it prompts me to log into my provider, I do, and it shoots me back to the page that says I must log into my provider with no way to actually do that. So it’s unusable. THE WORST.

This is hands down the worst app I have ever been involved with. The fact that it hasn’t been updated in nearly a year should tell you a lot. It doesn’t even work 2/3rds of the time, and if it does work you get constant freezing and drop outs. It’s not even worth the one star rating! You are always having to re install trying to get it to work. These people WILL be stealing two thirds of your subscription fee, and then don’t deliver any of the major tournaments like they advertised! STAY AWAY!

Be aware! This is a scam application! First - they charge you for 12 months without possibility to cancel during this time if you are disappointed. Second - they are moving matches from Tennis Channel Plus to regular Tennis Channel , it forces you to have cable subscription or not been able to watch the games, especially advanced rounds of major ATP and WTA completion. Third - the application constantly have technical difficulties and images either delayed or are lower resolution. Overall - stay away from it. It is an absolutely disgrace.

Customer support is the worst ever. I’ve not been able to watch content for about two months. I’ve been sending them photos and videos and they just keep sending general troubleshooting tips. At first they acknowledged the problem and then they just stopped answering. They don’t provide a phone number or direct email for support. Worst app and subscription service ever. Plus they only support 780p video quality. Working to refer them to a consumer protection Agency.

We LOVE tennis channel, but good luck watching it on here OR on FireTV. First, almost every day it’s going to ask you to re sign into your tv provider, which is a BEATING, but does that mean you get in then? Nope, now you wait through 3-6 of the same commercials over and over and it’s about a 1/4 chance it makes it through them before it just locks, mid commercial, and you never watch a thing! This has been this way for years now! App goes to commercial mid point or to “we are in a commercial break,” then suddenly goes back.
It’s just awful. I wish we could rate 0 stars.

Imagine you download TennisChannel about a year ago to try watching some grand slam opening rounds. I was often disappointed to see that the stream never (ever) actually loaded, leaving me waiting for “live tennis coverage” as I was inevitably forced to watch live scores on google. Fast forward a year, and nothing has changed. Though they offer the Monte Carlo final coverage, it’s never loaded, and neither is anything else you tap on the page. Poor app, and overall poor maintenance and support, which is a shame because I would have liked to use it to watch some matches while away from a cable box or computer.

Finally pulled the trigger on a TC Plus subscription to watch Alcaraz/Monfils, and neither the website nor TennisChannel recognizes me as a subscriber (TC’s suggestion is to try the other if one does not work). Obviously this is a common problem with the service, as they have a hyperlink/troubleshooting page for this very problem on their webpage. If they know this is a problem, why does it continue to happen? It’s 2022...if I can’t sign up for your service (a TV channel, essentially, that costs $109/year) and start using it right away, you are a dying business. I want my money back...buyer beware

Two years in a row TennisChannel and its website are useless during a Grand Slam. Constantly crashing, error messages, poor video quality. AWFUL customer service. But it’s not really the fault of customer service bc the platform is so poorly built. If there was any other option I’d be paying for it. TC is getting sufficiently frustrating that watching no tennis is seeming the better option than continuing to expect TC to operate as they promise it does. As an experiment, I tolerated the crashing for two hours yesterday, refreshing my browser each time it crashed. 26 crashes in 90 minutes. That’s on Safari and Chrome. The iPhone app doesn’t even load, hasn’t for a week. Roku app works well enough but is still clunky and short on content, but that’s another write up for another day. My recommendation to anyone reading this: don’t waste your money.

Summary: only a yearly subscription is offered. TennisChannel has no features other than a long hard to scroll list of streams. Find other streaming providers.

I got TennisChannel so I could watch more tennis matches more easily. I got the yearly subscription because it’s the only way I could subscribe and I figured I could use TennisChannel as a central place to watch games. TennisChannel makes it actively hard to watch matches , doesn’t record your history or how far into a match you might have watched.

Essentially every time you open TennisChannel it’s like you’re opening it for the first time. I won’t be renewing my subscription and I will just use whatever other streaming service I can find hosting relevant matches. TennisChannel needs to be more than a barebones and unsearchable video archive.

TennisChannel is probably the worse app I’ve used. I would not recommend it to anyone
I’m paying to be able to watch the matches and it doesn’t even let me watch replays. When I try to watch live matches it doesn’t work. Unless I turn my phone off then back on. Then sometimes it decides to play. It’s hard to follow the current year of tournaments the way it’s grouped in 250, 500, 1000 events as some of the tournaments aren’t even being played this year. 0.5 out of 5 stars and I will be ridding myself of TennisChannel soon. Would not recommend anyone subscribe or get TC plus and I love tennis and want to support but no. Awful app. And I read reviews that say the same thing and still no changes made. Shame on you guys

This is one of the worst apps in the entire library of apps. Considering that people have chosen to pay for the TC Plus content, you’d think the developers would try to correct the issues that make TennisChannel glitchy, hard to navigate and incapable of retaining user credentials for more than 10 minutes (to name only a few). And since this rating hasn’t changed in the 4 years since I started TRYING to use TennisChannel, it is clear that fixing all of the problems that might make paying for content more appealing to paying customers is among the lowest priorities for Sinclair.

Very surprised how poorly TennisChannel is performing from the TC. If you rely on TennisChannel to watch a LIVE match forget it. TennisChannel continually runs far behind real time action. At times, TennisChannel has been more than two games behind actual live action. I’ve followed the match live on google while running TennisChannel too and noticed TennisChannel lags behind every time in live action. So TennisChannel is not LIVE. Because TC insists running so many ads, many of them 30 second spots, by the time the ads finish and TennisChannel goes “live” to the match it’s behind. Why TennisChannel is not in real time is ridiculous for a sports channel.

You need to know: TennisChannel itself is ok. Just ok. But it’s the service that’s disappointing. Last night, they cut off the streaming of a semi-final match at 12-12 during the third set tiebreaker. Then tonight, they chose to not stream the men’s final of the Sydney classic. Instead, tennis channel decided to run a boring replay of the final of a minor tournament featuring two American players, and not even stream the men’s final with Andy Murray. TennisChannel is ok, but the service is really awful. But that’s what happens with a monopoly.

Aside from the content being great, TennisChannel is terrible in terms of navigation, accessibility and design. On iPhone, it’s impossible to use the navigation bar in full screen mode because the iphone’s home tab is in the way and overrides any tap in that part of the screen. There is not even a forward and rewind 10sec button to make up for the useless nav bar.
I would recommend the developers of TennisChannel take a good look at the tennisTV app and learn from its excellent player window navigation and usability.

TennisChannel has super awesome content. 😮However, it does have its moments. For example, if you’re watching a video, make sure to watch it all the way through. If you have to pause it or scrub it, you’ll have to reload the video and watch the commercial again. A big thanks to the Tennis Channel team for putting this together though! Once the bugs are ironed out…🎾 junkie heaven here we go! 😍

We get the tennis channel through our cable provider but wanted to see the plus and plus 2 content. So we signed up for the $99/yr subscription. The sign up and payment was buggy but my credit card was charged through paypal. However even though we could sign in to the account we made in settings, we were not able to view and plus content. Every time we logged in it would throw us to "subscribe." We wrote support. Followed their directions for a password reset, clearing cashes etc. and still could not view anything. So we sent in a request to cancel and refund. They can cancel but can't refund, saying we must do that through Apple, which isn't showing the subscription. All in all a huge waste of time and probably money too

So I’ve paid extra to have just the Tennis Channel on my TV. Now you offer TCPlus and over ride matches I want to watch during a Grand Slam no less. Now I can’t see them. There’s no information as to if TCPlus is just online or can be added on TV.

Seems as if this is nothing but a money grabber when I’m already paying for The Tennis Channel but you save the most important matches for Plus. What gives? I just want to watch the tourney but you pick and choose what I can watch!
Really? Oh yeah, we can watch re-runs later in the day on Tennis Channel while the ribbon at the bottom already tells you who won.
Please get with it for customers and not you pocket

Let me start by saying I have NEVER written a review before. However, this purchase was so terrible I had to stop anyone else from buying TennisChannel. I haven’t been able to log on once to watch any of the “PLUS” content. TennisChannel doesn’t recognize my account as an active subscription even though apple did charge me the full amount. When I contacted customer support, I was told that I could get a refund within 24hrs of purchase but the refund had to come thru apple. Apple states that it has to come thru the tennis channel app. Now I’m left with a useless app. If I could give it a ZERO I would. Now I can’t even get they the customer service anymore. So definitely stay away!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!

TC plus is trash when it comes to live events. Always crashing. ALWAYS. We are paying $100/yr to not get access ?! The worst joke. Or the joke is on us, I suppose. customer service is basically nonexistent And emails do not get a reply. Furthermore, the scrubbing bar is too low on the phone screen (when in full screen mode) AND there is no rewind or fast forward option. Will not be renewing my subscription after just one year. I actually made that decision 2 months in but was stuck. This is why they don’t have a monthly subscription option....They have a lousy product but won’t refund unhappy customers. I will be letting anyone who cared for my opinion to NOT waste their money by buying TC PLUS.

I did not purchase TennisChannel based on the horrendous reviews by numerous subscribers. It disgusts me to hear their commentators continuously promote TennisChannel during the broadcasts. Have any of you tried taking this issue to social media? Does Tennis Channel have a Twitter or Instagram account? If not flood the commentators social media accounts with post about this issue. We need to publicly shame them for this scam and get the word out to as many people as possible to stop them from purchasing TennisChannel and being victimized as you all have. Maybe the Better Business Bureau May be able to help. File a claim with small claims court. Perhaps a class action lawsuit for fraud, breach of contract, theft by deception will get their attention. I’m not an attorney but there must be some legal action you all can take.

Seems like this is a consistent issue. Sign In Problems. To get to the actual Live content I paid for I am being forced to me computer to activate instead of allowing me the ability to simply sign in using my login and password. I am using Apple TV’s which is what it was purchased on. The problem is (and no they don’t tell you this) you need to choose your cable provider as a drop down and if you don’t have one they work with you are out of luck. I asked for a refund and the customer service reply didn’t even address that. Instead it was a generic reply with bullets of what you can watch it using. And no you can’t use Apple TV unless you simply want to watch the free product. Absolutely not getting what I paid for an should get a refund.

Our app stopped giving the paid for tennis matches, during French open. No notifications were given abt it being known on their side, so we tried everything to,fix it. Finally gave up, contacted them for support thru chat, and were told “we are aware we are having issues. We are working together on it, no need to contact us. We are now ending this chat.” And they ended it. That is such horrid support and attitude. Wondering how or if they plan on reimbursement to all of us who paid exactly for these majors to be viewed. They are refusing to take or answer questions. Really quite disgusted with tennis channel. at this point. Give my money back.

I feel like I fell victim to a bait and switch at the hands of Tennis Channel. They promoted Tennis Channel plus as five extra channels showing untelevised matches from the tournaments they broadcast. I have yet to see an instance where all five channels “plus” were utilized. Most times, they have the same match playing on a plus channel that is playing on the main Tennis Channel, while leaving highly ranked players matches unable to watch. There’s no reason why you have five channels available, but Milos Raonic and Denis Shapovalov are playing right now, and I’m unable to watch them. These are major players! Tried to reach out to customer service for a refund, but they won’t refund your money unless it’s within 24 hours. It’s a trap, not recommended at all unless they make serious improvements to the amount of matches they make available.

Watching the French Open on Apple TV. Yesterday it was great, today nothing. All promised live feeds are missing from TennisChannel . All of today’s and yesterday’s in demand matches missing from TennisChannel . Try the url in TennisChannel for support (which promised charting with a representative) = page not found. Try the link here in TennisChannel Store for support = page not found. Try the email address for support listed under contacts in the web site, got an auto reply that it couldn’t be delivered.

Commentators on the tennis channel misrepresent the matches available on TennisChannel as “seeing every match whenever you want” when NO ATP matches were available on demand for Rome or Madrid while the tournaments were in progress (I started using TennisChannel in early May).

And now there is NO ACCESS TO ANY CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Tennis is a great sport. It deserves better than TennisChannel.

Update: I’ve been emailing back and forth with TC Plus for almost a month. Nothing they tell me to try allows me to log in. Then, they respond by telling me to do the same thing that didn’t work in the first place. I’ve asked for a full refund. They are not delivering what I paid for.

I’ve spent the last 4 days trying to log in to TC Plus, which I have a subscription to, with no success. The problem ticket submission system on their website is a joke. They write an auto response that they’ll look into the problem and then never write back. I tried the online chat function and spent an hour following their suggestions to no avail.

If you’d like to donate your hefty subscription fee for TC Plus to the Tennis Channel and then get no access in return, then by all means sign up. I can’t even cancel my subscription because it doesn’t appear in my account listing. If there were a zero star rating, I’d give it that.

It is truly annoying, and in fact incomprehensible, that TennisChannel does not work for those viewers who use the largest two cable providers in the country, Comcast and Spectrum Cable. What’s more, Tennis Channel will not respond to inquiries about this (try locating a way to contact Tennis Channel on their website or app. That is no accident I am sure). Obnoxious and arrogant behavior. What use is an app that cannot be used by someone who is paying their cable provider for the Tennis Channel?? In 2019, this is a ridiculous and customer hostile situation. Tennis Channel should take a brief time-out from hawking its overpriced TC Plus (which *BE WARNED* has no free look and apparently a no-refund policy), and finally fix this situation. Notice there will be no response from Tennis Channel to this review, as they want no real communication with their tennis fan customers. Come on tennis fans, please follow my lead and add your voices to convince Tennis Channel to correct this!

Wow where to even begin. TennisChannel used to be perfect for tennis fans now it’s broken for whatever reason. Just now a minute before writing this review I saw that there was an update for TennisChannel saying the sign in issue (which has prevented some users from accessing content they are paying for as can be seen in many other 1 star reviews) has been fixed. I got excited like yes finally this has been fixed. Oops false hope. I’m an AT&T U-Verse subscriber who has tennis channel but haven’t been able to log in for MONTHS!!! French open going on right now and I couldn’t even follow my favorite players while away from home. Are you kidding? And then to have an update saying the issue is fixed and yet I go to log in and it’s the same problem. That’s the final straw. What is so hard about this? Someone please fix this ASAP!!!!!! This is not fair to consumers who pay for this content. I’m getting ripped off here as are all other u-verse customers and who knows how many other carriers this issue applies to.

As they say you must have a subscription to the Tennis Channel to view any of the broadcast matches. TennisChannel is a complementary service only. And if your service doesn’t support their app, it’s useless. Spectrum is my service and it doesn’t work. Their CS basically said oh well not our problem.
Also, there is a known defect between iTunes and Tennis Channel app - purchases do not always get passed thru from iTunes to the TC. Their fix is for you to cancel your subscription, and rebuy it thru them. It says subscriptions are not refundable....and they do nothing to alleviate or make right the known problem.
And while I have the account set up nothing works. It keeps telling me to sign in.
This is probably one of the most aggravating experiences with what I would expect to be professionally designed app. They basically put it back on you to fix.
My advice - subscribe to TC thru your cable provider and view thru cable. And take extra sports channels that cover other tennis events. Don’t download and pay $100 for this poorly designed and implemented app.

I pay for tennis channel through my cable company. I have had tennis channel pretty much from the beginning. I am frustrated for two reasons: (1) I still cannot logon to app using my cable provider when I am away from my home; and (2) the fact that producers place their primary focus on the men’s tour! I am angry because I pay extra to have this channel and cannot view it when I am away from my home! In contrast, I can access “ESPN”, “WE” and other “cable pay channels” when I am away from my home by simply using my internet provider. Tennis Channel wants an additional fee to use their app! Secondly, I am paying to see a variety of events. For the past five years the producers have primarily given priority to ATP events! I am almost ready to stop my subscription! Even at 4:00 am I cannot watch a WTA match without the need for tennis channel plus! By the way, that is also the place where tennis channel boots the vast majority of America tennis players! At least I can see any match of desire with my subscription to ESPN! I am really at a point where I am going to end my subscription!

At first I could not “restore purchase” of Tennis Channel Everywhere. The problem was that when I originally signed up I had used an old email address so when I went to change my password it didn’t work with new email. Their system will let you put in a new email and password but it will not work if you don’t use what they have on record and it doesn’t tell you what email you used originally. No wrong entry Error message, it just doesn’t Restore! I was feeling very cheated as I had no service for days and Help through web browser on the phone didn’t work because “submit button” didn’t function. But posting my previous review finally got a response but by then I figured it out myself. I like the new version on AppleTV but they should have left the ability to “Restore Purchase “ without a login! I also miss the separation of On Demand into WTA and ATP!
