I bought this specifically for my two garage doors. Installation of the hardware went smoothly, but after about 48 hours, the app started reporting that the doors were opened and randomly opening them, then wouldn’t close them from the app. This is very disconcerting when I am not home and can’t tell if the doors are open and my house is unsecured.
The app also seems to randomly swap the garage doors from 1 to 2 and back, so I don’t know which door is which. This might work fine with lights and indoor devices, but totally unreliable for exterior doors that secure my home.

Extremely disappointed to find that this app requires an account to configure the smart switches that I purchased. I’m not able to setup the switches without the app, and the app requires an account.
Last time I checked, this behavior violates the App Store rules, which state that the app should function without requiring an account, except in cases where it is strictly required.
I have other smart switches that function perfectly fine without any account.
