Forced to download this new app after removing functionality from rider app. The new UI is very non-intuitive. Overlapping routes no longer show multiple colors to indicate such. Clicking on busses no longer show you their route or the time they will be at a certain stop. Clicking on the bus stops no longer show all the routes serving that stop nor the time they will be there. You have to select each route individually. Simple actions in the app require you to tap load multiple times when before it was one action. When the route isn’t running it simply disappears off of the app instead of being greyed out or something similar. All of this combined with more make using this app frustrating and borderline unusable. I’m a student that depends on this to get around campus. Please bring back the rider app or at least many of the features that were left out.

Any reasonable person can see that most if not all genuine reviews this app has received give it the worst possible rating. Yet the developers clearly paid a little for &/or spent some time concocting the sprinkling of absurd 5 star reviews, and also probably lucked into a few written by folks who truly don’t know any better, or maybe wanted to be polite. I felt that these obviously phony, sadly ignorant, & either way highly entertaining bits of nonsense deserved some recognition.
So it is my great pleasure to announce the First Ever Amusingly Ridiculous Review Content Awards!
In 3rd place, the definitely elderly gentleman who signed the review with his full name.
Next, in 2nd place- This absolutely real person is a real student at a totally not made up school. He says the app is a huge help getting around campus, because he doesn’t have a car. I guess that entirely nonfictional location is one place it actually works... So give it up for the Runner Up: “Grad Student” at “North East University!”
And finally, the Grand Prize Winner, by unanimous decree of the judge. This was the clear champion, the review that perfectly expresses the spirit of this coveted award. The author is a genius, beyond all doubt, as well as the Village Oaf somewhere in Appalachia. The words say it all:
“see bus, no more afraid”

The old Rider app was perfectly fine. I have so many issues with this app that was forced upon us. First, UI functionality is awful, eith the old rider app, selecting the stops would show what routes service it and the time left before the next would arrive. The new app does not do that as one has to tap into the stop and bring up individual routes, adding extra steps and not even allowing for a comparison of the routes. Next, the routes colors do not intermingle like the Rider app used to, only showing a single color even if multiple routes service it. Additionally, the shuttle icons are big and bulky, and even the timing is inaccurate. Finally, the routes don’t even load up half of the time, making me miss my shuttle.
If I had to give serious feedback, just bring back the old app, it was a better one across the board.
