I use this app pretty much everyday but IMDbPro often times will open and sit on the blue intro screen and not do anything else. I then have to use the browser in order to use the services. Ive attempted deleting and re-downloading app, updating iPad but its a consistent issue with just IMDbPro . Would love for this to get updated and get better.
I had about 60 or better titles on my page and now I go looking this morning and I only have 7 film titles on my page and some other little things. Here and there. I am VERY annoyed and am VERY unhappy with this app now. To where I do not WISH to ever film another feature film 🎥 or series for that matter. Now I am PIST. I have never had a problem and until NOW looking and seeing that I have ALL my titles lifted from my page is a disgrace. As well there are titles that I have done that I was credited for. An then taken down sometime afterwards (Months) later. I am VERY PIST off about it and discouraged against the stats of this app. It makes me SICK that you decide to do what and when you want to on the pages of this app.

IMDbPro now pushes an alert that my subscription doesn’t include access to IMDbPro . This is both an unwanted change to my subscription and completely laughable, as IMDbPro has always been slow and bug-ridden. Nine times out of ten I find myself Googling the information I need instead of using IMDbPro because it’s so fitful. Good luck getting people to pay more for this junk.
Desktop notifications at top of page for IMDb Pro don’t work anymore so I downloaded IMDbPro . Notification history is gone and only shows suggestions to track in both app and desktop. When there is a new news article, Notification button shows nothing. No red dot. Desktop shows no notification settings but app does. App notifications page has on suggested tracking and says, “Sorry about that. Something went wrong on our end.” I’m using iPad ios 14 and Windows 8.1.
The apps home page, where the news usually is, isn’t showing any articles. Just a few at the top but it isn’t showing the vast array of articles that are usually shown. What’s going on? Can you guys please fix this? Because the way IMDbPro is now, with like 4 articles at the top, and nothing else, is ridiculous and not what we are paying for. We want the full articles. Please fix!
People can just make their own films, add A List actors, and fake their entire career lol

Essentially no real vetting for films, credit ranking, or even the actual production company’s getting credit. It’s kinda funny. I could literally break into the top 1000 in a month if I wanted. Maybe I’ll do it with a fake actor profile just to prove a point haha
There’s a good number of things IMDbPro feels like it should do that it does not. I cannot edit or add any contacts to my profile. I can add images but cannot edit their description after the fact. It says stuff is not IMDb-verified but no indication on how to change that status. I can “turn off” people seeing my bio but I cannot edit my bio. I can not remove projects from my profile. I cannot save search preferences under the casting notice tab. I cannot easily look at who is posting a casting notice to see if it is legit or shady, nor can I report a notice if it does seem illegitimate.
It’s nice that I can look at films and people but it’s not very handy for the personal profile editing and casting notices, aspects that would make IMDbPro worthwhile to keep on my phone. Because of the lack of personal profile “editability,” using IMDbPro is frustrating, putting you in an endless loop of “this SHOULD take me here but it doesn’t, but why would I not be able to do this from IMDbPro , it must be somewhere...”
I would try to redesign IMDbPro to really focus EQUAL parts on the industry info and article side of IMDb AND the personal services that one pays for when they subscribe to IMDb pro. And of course, keeping it very user-friendly.

A message implies that I have no access with my ios app today. For the first time.
I am having a problem understanding why I do not have access to my imbdPro account today. There is no way to contact the site. I will update this when my subscription expires!
I can’t log out of IMDbPro . Give me an error of page not found. I worry that if I am logged in and production wants to add a credit, that they won’t be able to do it. Also concerned that being constantly logged in drains battery
They fixed the logout problem, but now I can’t log in on mobile app. Log in is fine on laptop and tablet not using IMDbPro
Good app, but they would really benefit by having a “share” option on profiles. I have to go back to my standard IMDb app to copy a link to share a profile! If people could share an IMDb Pro profiles, I guarantee many more people would sign up to see them! IMDb, you can send me a royalty check for that idea, I just increased your business by 20%, easy!
Why is it so hard when I pay a yearly fee, to edit this site especially the photos. I’m on an iPad and I’m popping between chrome and IMDbPro and I still can’t do what I want on the site. I don’t think it’s good enough especially with a site that is so necessary. I think it’s time to update the site for actors
All of sudden, IMDbPro -- for which I pay $200/year -- won't open. Pathetic. Please fix.
UPDATE: deleting/reinstalling IMDbPro solved the problem. Rating updated, with a star docked for the PITA factor.
Otherwise: a solid reference for Industry info.
Just downloaded today. Checking it out.... so far - and it has gotten me to update my page, it looks good. I haven’t been able to edit through IMDbPro , but it definitely looks better than via the website on mobile.

The news in IMDbPro is nicely curated. I find myself using IMDbPro to look at entertainment industry news quite often. It’s nice to have actual news and not gossip-type articles.
I enjoy using IMDbPro to look up individuals to see what they’re up to next. The information in this app is very valuable and it’s great to have it presented in a simple format on my iPhone.
Love IMDbPro!! News section not showing fully just 4 posts and it stops :( i restarted app everything nothing worked please update :)
As someone in the industry who uses this app religiously, it would be nice to be able to set alerts for projects and get notifications when a project has changed.

Always use this when I need to look someone up, or a project. If you need to know more about agencies or managers. Casting directors to see different tones for shows. Incredible.
I absolutely enjoy the Pro IMDB! The layout is great along with seeing other talents IMDB pages and enjoy connecting in ways other social media could never do for me in the film industry! Excited to have a way to share my work with others and looking forward each Sunday to see my STARmeter 💫
