Testing LoopMessenger as threaded messaging would be awesome in our large family chat (18 people). Whenever someone posts or replies to a post, I get a pop up notification which I can then tap to see the message. However, if I am simply hanging out on the main group text screen waiting for messages to appear, they do not just pop up like normal texts would. I have to press the “back” button to exit to my message center, then reselect my group and THEN the newest messages appear. In this way it functions more like a forum/message board than a text app. If I am viewing comments in a specific sub-thread, I have to back out TWICE—once to the main conversation, then again to the message center and reselect the group before it refreshes and shows me the latest messages. Am I missing something? Would love to use threaded messages to make our conversations easier to follow, but why don’t they just appear in the thread(s) as they arrive, instead of having to press the notification or back out to refresh the screen? That is too confusing and too many steps when the conversation is happening real time!

With iOS 13.6, LoopMessenger won’t open or work. Even after deleting and re-downloading, it still won’t work. Please update.

Highly recommend for anyone who wants a messaging app that actually is intended for group communication

Using Loop for rec team and it’s been a big upgrade over GroupMe.

At last a group Messenger that doesn't blow up with notifications. Love that the threaded messages keep everything organised and the shut up button means I can leave any conversation without leaving he group.

LOVE the control options. Finally no more annoying notification alerts over and over after my tennis captain sends the team messages! I also use LoopMessenger to let my family know what's happening through our private group.

LoopMessenger is exactly what we’ve been looking for. Threaded group messaging! Our family has been using GroupMe for years now but have been frustrated when comments get lost and abandoned. Threaded group messaging totally fixes that and allows for separate conversations to branch out from the main one! And the ability to moderate the levels of notifications for each thread is genius!

(My only desperate wish would be to have the ability to send videos in messages 😭)

Game-changer for group communication.

I have been using LOOP messenger now for several years for my group of about 40 people, including earlier versions. LoopMessenger works great for our group to communicate with each other. I would highly recommended you get and use LoopMessenger for messaging your group. I give it a 5 star rating!

This is really cool after you get your network using LoopMessenger . It really shines for groups with 5 or more people to fully take advantage of how LoopMessenger organizes conversations around topics. Hope to see them add video calling.

I've used my fair share of messaging apps, but Loop Messenger is a breath of fresh air. The user experience is so intuitive and straightforward. Hope they add search soon.

Great app. Allows our large groups to communicate without annoying group texts. Being able to silence notifications is a great plus as well.

I love how they organized LoopMessenger between groups and direct messages. Plus using topics for groups is a game changer. LoopMessenger seems so simple but I keep discovering more capabilities the more I use it. This could be huge

Loop has been great. Takes away some of the noise of group messaging while also allowing you to stay connected to those groups.

Loop is easy to use, convenient, and updated regularly. You can start a thread and reply keeping different topics separated. You can also direct message other users in your group.

LoopMessenger is a great way to o keep in touch with large groups or small groups. I use it to communicate with my hockey team and golf buddies. Easy peasy.
