App claims you can sign on with Apple ID. I like this feature since it helps me preserve my privacy while also having a seamless experience. However, logging on with Apple ID doesn't do anything, and they still require you to submit an email AND phone number after "logging on" with Apple ID to "fully" log in. Private?? Yeah right! This is just a ridiculous subversion of the intent of Apple requiring the option to sign on with Apple ID. Please, do it right.

1) I see an error message saying account does not exist when I try to login with my email. So I tried to create the new acct with the same email and I got the message that acct already exists with that email.

2) I was finally able to login by doing a dumb hack and now I see there’s no option to delete the payment details.

My dojo switched from ZenPlanner to MyStudio looking for a more modern experience. While MyStudioApp looks good, there are a lot of administrative problems. For example, messages within MyStudioApp can be sent to individuals or an entire membership but custom distribution lists cannot be done. ACH payments can be taken for reoccurring payments but not one-time purchases unless it is over $450. Classes can be scheduled one-time or reoccurring weekly—no monthly or custom timings. Lastly, the help is nonexistent for more advanced features such as their API integration.

We decided to re-evaluate our choice to migrate to MyStudio

It takes 2 seconds to register for a contract with a gym but if you want to cancel or stop payments you will need to fulfill whatever nonsense conditions the owner hid in the fine print, I.e. prostrate in front of the gym owner with a hand written letter signed in blood.

If a gym uses MyStudioApp, it’s a good sign they are sketchy. I’ve had bad experiences with 2 different gyms that use it, which unfortunately for MyStudioApp itself is a pattern as far as I’m concerned.

Besides that, it’s just poorly made in general. Bad error messages, things not saving properly, awkward navigation, hard to do pretty much anything.

I’m very frustrated that I cannot update my old last name or email address in MyStudioApp . It seems to use the phone number as the unique signifier so I can’t create a new account with my correct name and email address. It gives an error message with each of these attempts. It also gives an error when I try to completely delete my account to start a new one, saying there are open registrations but they are all listed as cancelled plus they’re from 2 years ago!

My gym recently switched to MyStudioApp. Here’s what I find frustrating:
- no desktop version that I’m aware of. If I don’t have access to my phone I can’t sign up for a class.
- can’t cancel or reschedule a class thru MyStudioApp . I have to refer back to the original email confirmation in the event I need to cancel or reschedule.
- MyStudioApp does not show the instructor assigned to each class
- no intuitive way to automatically add classes to my calendar app. I have to add each one manually.

Don’t use MyStudioApp, it’s not worth it. Once you enter in your financial info, only your gym can delete it. That means that if you can’t get a hold of them to cancel your membership, you will get charged and you cannot delete your payment info or your membership in your own account, only the gyms can do it. MyStudioApp won’t help you and claim it’s illegal in their end but that’s absurd. Don’t use , you won’t have control if anything goes wrong.

The only thing I really hate about MyStudioApp is that it Pigeon holes customers into two payment methods. Use a credit card and pay additional service fees or give up your privacy and allow Stripe and their affiliates full access to all your online bank account transactions and account balances.

Message system has few bugs and not very friendly. Sometimes old msgs return like new.

Classes links and schedule work very well.

I have no notifications too, it cold link schedule with google calendar

I am logging in with my apple ID and most the time I get this error :
"Unable to process request due to missing initial state. This may happen if browser sessionStorage is inaccessible or accidentally cleared."
After several attempt it will let me log in.

We use this for our karate school and it is great in some areas but needs some work in others. It would be great for our students to be able to see in MyStudioApp what classes they’ve registered for & be able to cancel or reschedule within MyStudioApp instead of through their confirmation email. It would also be nice if our students could check in from MyStudioApp on their own device when they arrive for classes instead of having to wait in line for the school’s iPad & especially now to help ease a little in the sanitation department.

In the latest app update if you have multiple participants added into your app only one participant is showing to be able to register and you can’t manually add or change the participant. This is making it difficult for our parents to sign themselves up as well as their kids for classes and making it difficult for us since we have limited space availability at the moment & have a number cap put on our class registrations.

Has a parent of a child in a martial arts studio that uses MyStudioApp, I generally find it to be fairly useful. It is relatively easy to navigate and helpful that I can schedule classes and pay for things through MyStudioApp . My biggest pet peeve is that I have to log into MyStudioApp every time I want to use it. Not sure why I can’t just stay signed in. I would also appreciate being able to see the classes that I have signed up for as opposed to having to go back to my email confirmations.

I was able to purchase a membership without having to go to the business.

MyStudioApp keeps me informed and updated and I can interact with the staff to make sure I am caught up on new offerings.

Makes it super easy for our customers to view, manage their account. Communicate and registration is a breeze which allows our staff to focus on other things. Awesome!

I enrolled my kids for the first time in a summer camp that uses MyStudioApp and it’s made my mom admin life easy!!

I can easily stay connected to the summer camp staff when I need to pick up early or have any questions, as well as easily make payments, register my kids for more camp weeks, and quickly change update things in my profile.

It’s so easy to use and saves me loads of time scrolling through my inbox to find details. Loving it!

The classes are very organized and fun creative. My child is having a blast. I’m extremely satisfied. I recommend ATA Cox to anyone that has a child looking for an activity to help them shape for the present and the future.

MyStudio makes it so easy for me to sign up for events, update my membership and reserve classes. I also love that I can easily communicate with my school through MyStudioApp .

Been working out with beast Kickboxing 12 years now. physically I feel in the best shape of my life and I’ve been active all my life! It was especially valuable after surgery for a come back. Physical therapy helped but kickboxing exercises and weight training really responsible for my complete recovery and return to normal physical activity body definition. Also have met some great people I kickboxing with and Brandon is an amazing trainer! Worth the money and the time!
