Not really sure why SnaptouchCamera got negative reviews. I downloaded it and connected Bluetooth with no issues at all and printed a photo out instantly. It’s really neat. When I first got my snap touch for Christmas I had no idea you could print pictures sent from your phone to your camera. This is by far one of the coolest features! Way to go Polaroid !

I never had this problem until recently. Well it started after I took out the memory card to transfer the pictures to my computer and it didn’t work because it said files not available so It was whatever but once I put it back into the camera, all my pictures were gone. So I’ve been trying to upload my pictures from the camera itself to my phone and it just doesn’t work at all. Also, I never had a problem with the cropping or how I adjust the images to print. I’ll do a full picture and it’ll print out with one of the sides being white or just a bunch of lines. I never had this problem til maybe about a couple months ago. Don’t know if it’s SnaptouchCamera or if I just need a new camera but if I do need a new one, it for sure won’t be a Polaroid camera.

UPDATE: I updated my phone to the newest IOS (11.2.2) and it finally worked! SnaptouchCamera is still buggy but I’m happy to finally be able to print photos from my phone!

I was excited to get my Polaroid Snaptouch for Christmas, as the idea of printing photos from the camera and my phone would’ve been fun. I download SnaptouchCamera to start printing pictures, only to find they won’t print. My camera will pull up the downloading screen preparing the photos from my phone but when it’s complete they never print. It will then say the printer is busy if I try to print anything afterwards. Very disappointed. Please update SnaptouchCamera ! It’s upsetting to see a product advertised in a way that turns out to be unusable.

SnaptouchCamera runs a lot more smoothly than its predecessor however in the old app you could choose to print a photo without the white bars on the left and right side, no cropping necessary. Now in order to print a picture without the white bars you must zoom in and due to the singular nature of zooming on SnaptouchCamera you sacrifice length, cutting the top and bottom of your picture in order to have the proper width. I love my Snaptouch and it’s printing function is amazing but the choice to use it as a printer is quickly becoming more of a hassle as the editing process requires more and more time. Also it would be cool if when you zoom you could crop but not just to center, thats really limiting.

I do not understand how SnaptouchCamera made it to production. Frequently closes after connecting to camera. If it does manage to connect selecting a photo and clicking print results in an infinite loop of cycling the the set copies and print button screen. If your fast enough to press the print button it will show data transfer on camera but SnaptouchCamera will display data error “printer is busy” in another loop. SnaptouchCamera settings to check and update camera firmware loops display of the download-sync-install button for about 30 seconds and then displays download. Clicking download does nothing. I haven’t seen an app this poor since the days of palm pilot and windows mobile. Every level of qaulity control made an epic display of incompetence with SnaptouchCamera.

This apps works ok and the camera has a lot of quality issues and crashes a lot. It is clear the reviews being posted here are not real. They all say the same thing slightly different. There is no way someone is writing, “ I love SnaptouchCamera”. Based on the grammar it seems like they may be the same person as well. App is ok but nothing special. It works ok but the camera is cheaply built for the cost and the software on the camera is terrible and crashes often. The pictures that print are fun but the quality is very poor. It is a novelty, not a real camera or printer.

Pretty much what everyone else is saying. It doesn’t print after pretending to download, or saying the printer is busy, only to have you want to throw the camera against the wall. The worst part is nothing has been done. Now I want to throw the camera at the developer 😁😂😫

Update: as I was taking pictures of the steps I’m taking to print with no success, I saw someone else’s review. It said to update your phone. I did the latest update and SnaptouchCamera worked! It still closes on pictures sent from someone else’s phone, but I took a screenshot and I was able to print. So I don’t feel like throwing the camera at anything or anyone anymore 😁😂😉

I’m using an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I think we all know that the Zink paper tends to darken the photos when printing. My solution for that is to brighten the images in SnaptouchCamera while editing under the Print Preview section right before printing. It tends to get the job done, and messing with the tones and colors of the image also helps out! But lately SnaptouchCamera does not save the tone/color/brightness changes right before you print the image and it is so frustrating/annoying. Please, please, please update and fix this error. The photos keep coming out horrendous, it seriously needs to be fixed.

SnaptouchCamera and device are so extremely finicky that they rarely ever work. Even when the device and phone are connected through Bluetooth, SnaptouchCamera itself cannot find the device. It crashes whenever you try to print more than one photo at a time so you have to constantly open and close SnaptouchCamera to be able to print photos. A lot of work is needed to make this product usable. Since the update SnaptouchCamera has been completely unable to print to the device rendering it completely useless. Total waste of money, I recommend printing photos from literally any other service.

Almost a month after I emailed their support inbox, and SnaptouchCamera is finally updated, only to still not work. I’ve been able to connect my iPhone X via Bluetooth and successful print 2 out of the 12 photos I’ve attempted to print. SnaptouchCamera on an iPhone X is horrendous with buttons (like Print!!!) hiding beneath other icons. I would LOVE to get use out of SnaptouchCamera and the camera I spent all that money on. Please just update SnaptouchCamera , install it on your test devices and make sure it works before you update it. Until then, it’s still useless and a one star app. I’d gladly give a five star review if it just worked!

Polaroid owes me a refund because I thought something was wrong with my camera so I went out to buy a new one . Just to find out it’s the apps fault . Who the hell makes an app , where the primary function of SnaptouchCamera (connect to phone & print pictures) doesn’t even work !? What is the point of SnaptouchCamera then? Worthless junk . I got my Polaroid last Christmas, it worked fine up until I tried using it today to print pictures off my phone . It said the picture would download, & then it would go back to the camera & the little printer icon would be green, but it will not print . Give me my money back .

I’ve tried contacting support a few times for help, but I haven’t received a response. My camera is working, but since I bought it every pack of Polaroid zink paper I buy and print, my photos print faded, pail and yellow. I’ve tried so many things, but I just can’t seem to figure this out.
I love the overall concept of this camera and especially paired with SnaptouchCamera ! I just wish my camera would cooperate properly.

Can’t print, can’t update firmware… SnaptouchCamera is grossly dysfunctional: Bluetooth is on and the printer is paired, SnaptouchCamera sees it (and my iPhone is up to date) but nothing seems to work at all. When I try to print, SnaptouchCamera says that the picture has been sent to the printing queue but nothing ever comes out. If I try to update the firmware, the data is supposedly sent to the printer but the firmware is not actually updated.
Considering the number of other similar reviews, it looks like SnaptouchCamera has serious issues that Polaroid needs to address (instead of suggesting that customers call their support number).

I was so excited to receive this camera for my birthday. I had been wanting it for the nostalgia and it exceeded my expectations. However, SnaptouchCamera feels like it was either an afterthought and/or severely rushed. It disconnects from the camera after printing a picture every single time. The design is clunky and features often take forever to load. Eventually SnaptouchCamera either crashes or becomes unresponsive until it is manually closed and reopened. Please take this back to the drawing board and try again.

SnaptouchCamera used to not work and i put away my camera :( one year later i pulled it out and started taking pictures... then i remembered there was an app! i pulled up SnaptouchCamera and updated SnaptouchCamera and my camera. I WAS SO EXITED TO FIND OUT IT WORKED!! thank you for fixing SnaptouchCamera! it has such great camera quality and printing is faster ! pictures are coming out great! In conclusion, SnaptouchCamera DOES WORK... SO GREAT!

Got this as a Christmas gift and have wanted one forever. I was very excited to be able to print photos from my phone only to find out it doesn’t even work. What makes this so frustrating is that one of the main featured selling points of this camera is to be able to print pictures from your phone and you can’t even do that. If you sell a camera in hopes of getting people to download your app, you need to update and fix this and make sure this is accessible and working across all mobile devices. This would be very nice.

Just got a notification to update the new Snaptouch App. And I must say, good job to the guys at Polaroid!
It’s a nice new App with easy to navigate.
I’m really liking all the editing that I can do on SnaptouchCamera .
On a side note, it also pushes a new firmware to my camera that also changed the whole camera screens design which are very nice as well!

I saw a lot of other people had this problem too. When I try and print something it says the printer is busy or it says downloading on the actual camera but then never prints. If you could fix this that would be amazing. But the only reason I gave it two stars is because I love the new updates, besides how I can’t print, but it it made the editing a lot easier to do so thank you for that. But the editing doesn’t really matter if you can’t print. Have a nice day!

I’ve been looking at the reviews and I know why it doesn’t print!!!!!! You have to go to settings and tap BLUETOOTH SETTINGS (make sure Bluetooth is on!) make sure your camera is on and it will pop up as “Polaroid snap touch” tap on it and it should say connected now go to SnaptouchCamera , set it up and it should work!

When I first got my little printer a few years back, it worked great. Then they updated SnaptouchCamera and it was terrible. After a long wait, they fixed it and I was so happy to get decent photos again. Now it’s back to crummy dark photos, and trying to lighten them with the editing features ruins the already sketchy quality of the print. I can’t tell you how many pictures I’ve had to throw out, the first one is always bad. Either too dark, or I’ve over corrected. So disappointing.
