The idea is good, and generating grocery lists from recipes and the meal plan is great... when it works. While typing in meals or ingredients the keyboard covers the area you are typing in, so it's a blind shot. Auto fill from previously used meal items works about 1/10 times, which is annoying to have to type same items repeatedly as well as input those same ingredients into grocery list.

Has potential, just needs some programming adjustments

I like this to keep track of my meals. It’s not fancy but does the job. There are some little quirks like when I am entering the meals for the day, I can enter breakfast and lunch but since my keyboard is hiding the dinner area I have to exit out of edit mode and re-enter. It would be nice to be able to just scroll down. Also the shopping list needs work. It would be nice to be able to export to Notes or another app. If I exit out of PlanMeals while shopping I have to reopen PlanMeals

Easy to use and customizable categories. Adding the categories feature for the Recipes would be great. Minor bugs like screen freeze up, stuck in keyboard mode not being able to see typing.

When filling out my menu for the week it needs to auto populate with my recipes as I start typing it. If I saved my recipe as “Instant Pot Chicken & Potatoes” but type it into my meal planner as “Instant pot chicken & potatoes” it does not register that those are the same thing and doesn’t put my grocery items for that recipe on the shopping list. Please add this function. Thank you!

This was the first meal planning app I’d seen that I actually liked. It was simple and I could add anything I wanted instead of having to stick to in app recipes like other apps. Unfortunately after I planned out my entire week yesterday, I opened PlanMeals today to find that nothing had been saved. What a disappointment

It’s super easy to use. I upgraded to the pro version because it’s such a low price I think it’s worth it. I love having it make a grocery list for me. It can be pretty glitchy though.

Exactly what I wanted. Just a place to plan at a high level meals for the week without having to link recipes. Would be great if it also had a place to plan snacks, thus the four stars.

I’ve enjoyed PlanMeals, but today it just stopped working. I tried refreshing and rebooting, but none of my menus are showing up. Any suggestions?

Simple interface, very easy to use, I just wish whenever I opened PlanMeals it wouldn’t pop up with the message for me to sign in with google or Facebook

It’s nice to have meal reminders and what I’m planning for the week in one place. The pro aspect to add more meals is a bit annoying, and the fact it doesn’t have a calendar view, but that’s my only real complaint. Would definitely recommend!

I tired a few other meal planning apps, but this one has just what I was looking for, a simple and easy way to plan a two week menu. The grocery list is an added bonus!

I love PlanMeals, it’s simple and works perfect for planning meals for my family. Lots of apps have a lot of extra features for nutrition, ect. But they often cost money or are complicated to use. I love how simple this is to use and it is free!

This is by far my favorite meal planning app! I save all my favorite meals under recipes, then can easily plan out my weeks with a whole menu of my own creation! It’s so easy to use and I like how it saves everything. Honestly has helped me eat better and save money on groceries!

I really like how easy PlanMeals is to use as I plan my weekly meals. I have a couple of suggestions for a future update:

1. I have many weeks of menus. It would be helpful if the most recent week would be at the top rather than at the bottom.

2. I would love the ability to search for the last time I had used a recipe in past menus.

I don’t want to write a long paragraph. But now that we are out of school and it is summer, it has been really hard to find food to eat. And planning out what I want on Sunday’s has been really easy because of PlanMeals. Highly Recommended 🤩🤩

You think planing is just another thing you have to do like it’s a chore but you have to eat no matter if you plan or not. It just makes it more expensive if you don’t plan

PlanMeals is simple and straight to the point. I can meal prep without ads and to unlock the entire app it is 1.99. I input my own info. and can refer to it at a later date.

Loved PlanMeals used it for two months. Lived by it. Today unable to do anything with it. Trying to contact support states servers are down.

I spent hours typing in my favorite recipes and meal plans and saved it using my facebook login.I even purchased the upgrade.The next day PlanMeals stopped working, all my data is gone.There is no way to contact app support, no email id or no way to send a message ! Basically if PlanMeals doesnt work, you are left to yourself with a wasted purchase.

Very simple to use. Easy to plan out meals and grocery shop. Only downside is when PlanMeals updated, it deleted my meals and recipes.
