Constant issues with app

So I have constant issues with logging into the application as well as issues inside the application. So first with logging in I have to enter in my log in stuff/ put the passcode in a varying amount every time I log in. Sometimes first go sometimes other times up to 6 tries really annoying. Then when I actually get in the application sometimes the screen is moved up like an inch, which is horrible because then I can’t see my doctors I need to message or the notifications fully when I log in. Then I have to go back trying to log in to fix the issue hoping it doesn’t just repeat again... I also experience problems with random shut downs of MyUCSDHealth not super often but yes it does happen.

So overall I love the idea of MyUCSDHealth and the convenience of being able to message my doctors as well as get information easily, BUT that is after all the time spent trying to finally be able to access MyUCSDHealth properly both outside and in.

Looking forward to improvements

I’m one of the first patients to have used the original program which this replaced. I liked that I could track my lab results over time and see the data presented numerically as well as in graph form on the other program, and do not see that option, yet on this new program. I was irritated, too, that the message from my doctor, which informed me I had new lab results and came with a link to directly access those results, does not work. When you tap the link, you get an error message saying you can’t open the link. I assume that it eventually Will work. So far, navigating between the features is ok...a little different, but intuitive. I’m reasonably certain there will be more features added, and I’m looking forward to them.

MyChart UCSD

Without much medical history in the past, I landed myself in the local hospital (which wasn’t equipped to handle what was happening) so I was transferred to UCSD La Jolla and was lucky enough to be placed into the hands of a renowned doctor….now, using MyChart, it is easy to reach out for medication refills, set up doctor visits, even have “video visits” for some of the appointments (which is a blessing, considering traffic in San Diego - and my living nearly an hour away)….it also provides information as to what tests may be needed, and any other messages - and it is monitored by both the doctor and her head nurse - so response time is very quick. Great asset to have!

Amazing and useful

I started back in May2021. This is by far the most useful, patient friendly app compared to military version MyGenesis. I can speak enough about this and peace of mind I have. Using this and balance out my everyday life schedule. Thank you developers

Helpful but confusing

It is wonderful to have access to our medical information at the touch of a button but MyUCSDHealth could use some improvement. My number one recommendation is to consolidate all the messages, letters, notices, comments into ONE section. I get a text saying there’s a response from my doctor about something and I’m opening all these different portals trying to find the note. It’s just confusing to have so many. Also wanted to change my payment method but couldn’t find a way to do that. So, great to have this access but looking forward to seeing improvements.

Lab history and message issues

While I think MyUCSDHealth is overall a much easier platform to use, there are some issues that are new.

When trying to open a link from the messages, ie a new lab result, an error message pops up. This happens even on links that have worked previously. Finally, the inability to view lab history in table or graph format is a valuable feature that is noticeably missing.

Otherwise MyUCSDHealth is great and I will continue to use it.

Horrible!

There’s a slew of issues and honestly not sure where to start.
MyChart is much like peeling back the layers of a very bad onion, no matter what you do, it stinks!
A slew of options SEEM available but in truth many lead to nothing of value, are incomplete or pop up error messages. What’s the use of providing an option if it’s unusable?
No graphing or historical data, no way to track anything & you’re LUCKY if it doesn’t log you off every couple minutes. Try messaging your care team only to be thrown off halfway through.
Foundation is there but miles away from usable

Just awful

This system is the worst application I have ever used. I have made several calls to a few departments including the technical department to improve it. My main complaint with MyUCSDHealth is that it times you out or kicks you out of the system when trying to leave a message to providers! To add insult to this injury, it doesn’t save your message, it gets deleted . I don’t use it other than to read messages from providers.
They can sure take a lesson from a good system from the Veterans Department!! Their system is GREAT!!

COVID info is not helpful

I have a positive home COVID test and was informed I need to upload a photo. Then there are no directions on how to do this. I called the nychart support 10mins ago was told to send the photo to my primary doctor. There is no way to write a message and send a photo with it. Totally useless info on COVID when trying to search about it .. specifically where am I supposed to send a photo?
It would be smearier to go to a test site and let them show I am positive than deal with this when I do not feel well

Messaging

Easy to navigate but, times out frequently when trying to write and send a message to a provider. Very frustrating. Find a need to send attachments, not always easy to import, to get the message to send.

Love it

I like being able to see my test results, my appt summaries, my next appts. I love being able to have all my records in one spot. It’s easy to navigate through MyUCSDHealth. I don’t know what I’d do without MyUCSDHealth.

Life saver

MyChart is the best thing ever. Absolutely no complaints. My problem is it logging me off after a few minutes unexpectedly. It doesn’t log me off when accessing through Safari. If I reload MyUCSDHealth , how would I retrieve my info? I normally use an iPad.

Thank you,
Dave Regenhardt.

So easy

Great app! So easy to use and provides access to every aspect of your medical record. Everything can be handled without phone calls. This is a must for everyone in the UCSD health care system

Medical Care At Your Fingertips

My Chart gives you all the medical information you need to take charge of your own medical care.

Time outs are too short

When writing notes to doctor, or others the program’s auto time out is too short. Makes it impossible to adequately communicate thoughts, concerns, and ask questions.

To many changes

Web site is difficult at 84 years old. It closes before I’m finished working. I’m not able to verify my email or phone which has not changed but I’m not quick enough to check for codes to verify. I’d like to delete emails and old information but can’t do that either.
I’m going to give up.

Needs a lot of work

There are numerous things wrong with MyUCSDHealth. You can’t delete things that have been accomplished, you can’t delete reminders EVEN when they have been done, the navigation is very poor. So many other issues.

Thank you

For always being kind and willing to help

Horrific

MyUCSDHealth works very badly. It presents complicated legal-medical information in small font but requires signature, puts the user through the same set of questions multiple times without allowing skipping then wont move forward to the appt unless the information is filled out, even though it isn’t clear how to complete the information. Would never use & will not use again.

Makes managing health easier

The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is I can’t get the comparison of lab results like was able on the website version.

Cannot login after update

Since the last update, when I try to click on mychart, MyUCSDHealth dies and kicks me out. Other functions appear to work but the main thing I use MyUCSDHealth for is broken. Please fix. Tried uninstalling / reinstalling already, didn’t work.

By

Looks good

Looks good so far no problems. Every area of MyUCSDHealth seems polish, will update if any hiccup comes along.

No more Touch ID

The new version no longer has Touch ID. Please bring it back!

By

Update?

I tried to login, but was told that MyUCSDHealth was updated and that I would need the new one. Apparently I have the latest app, did you all forget to upload the new one to App Store?

By

Super App !

This is a great use grade and really useful!

By

App. Stoped working

App. Stoped working with no reason in a middle of hospital stay. And app support feature doesn’t work either.

By

Recent update

I used to be able to access MyChart on the UCSD app and now every time I select MYCHART MyUCSDHealth crashes. Please fix.

By

App crash

Recent update crashes whenever the “MYCHART” is pressed. Can not access my medical records.

Crash city

All MyUCSDHealth does is. Rash right after it opens. Useless. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Can’t even get in!

Obviously designed for huge phones! I type in my username and password but the keyboard covers up the sign in button and the return key doesn’t act as a substitute - duh! Come on y’all, don’t have such dumb problem, you’re UCSD!

mychart functionality lost

Version 8.0.7 released on 08.01.19 crashes when clicking mychart icon. How did it pass QA/testing?
