I have been using time keeping apps for 8 years. I got this system because it does job management as well. It has issues though. I missed payroll three weeks in a row, because I couldn’t invoice customers based on time. I reached out to live chat every week, NOT ONCE DID THEY HELP ME GET MY TIME CARDS RIGHT. I would save info, only to have it revert back. When I type in the correct date, it would revert to previous numbers. I was forced to use my old system.

I decided to keep the system and use the management software. I have 4.6 million in jobs loaded in the schedule. I load all jobs and dates correctly, and they come jumbled in the GANT chart. I click and drag and straightened it out, only to have it revert on the save. I reach out to live chat, and I can’t believe how unbelievably unhelpful they are. All I get it is , please wait. Or they have absolutely no idea what I am talking about. Been waiting for 30 minutes with no response back. Just awful. And no they will not refund. Even if nothing works as it should. Even if live chat has not solved a single issue.

Contractor Foreman (CF) is the perfect software for our residential remodeling business. We’ve been using it for a month now. We looked at Co-construct and BuilderTrend and found them to be too expensive. We looked at Knowify and found it didn’t have the options we needed (mainly gantt chart scheduling). We came across CF and found it to be affordable AND have all the options we were looking for. It is great to use throughout the whole project process (estimates, bidding out to subs, change orders, procurement, RFIs, punch lists, client portal, project financial reports, etc). The two things they are lacking, right now, is a way to accept payments and client access through ContractorForeman . I hear that the payment option is coming in the next month or two. I’m so glad we stumbled across this software.

We had the chance recently to preview and test ContractorForeman/system and it is definitely on the right track! They are adding function and features regularly and are offering a pricing structure that is reasonable for any size budget.
Compared to some of the other more established companies in this field they are on track to far surpass them in function and pricing and likely to become a leader in this area as they are already in their way.
Great customer support, knowledgeable staff and a desire to listen to what the end user needs. This is the company to definitely consider when you are looking for a project management system.

Absolute disaster and waste of money! We tried this management software at the beginning of the year thinking it would be a simple APP that would help manage information and deadlines in the field.... little did we know it would end up being a multiple week training and webinars to learn how to do even the simplest things. It ended up costing 5X as much as ContractorForeman let on in the description. We ended up not even using it because the training alone for several employees was going to be way too costly. After 7 months of not using it and requesting to close the account last month they charged our card $1300, when we contacted them they said they would only give half of it back.... needless to say, be weary, they talk a good game up front but goes downhill once they get your money!

ContractorForeman has made it possible for us to go from being 20,000 gross per month to 80,000. I know we’re a small guy still but we wanted to select the software that we should grow into it. Our other software was holding us back by only focusing on the service industry so we were running two different programs. Which one program that works seamless and continues to get smarter every monthWe will have a record year!

I have tried most of the top software out there for construction mangers and this one is, by far, the most well rounded. Its not perfect, but it has way more features than many others. It is also very easy to learn to use and navigate. Very straight forward and every week i find a new feature that we can use to be more efficient. They actively make updates and use customer feedback to fix bugs and add features.

I was lucky enough to find Contractor Foreman about a year or so ago and the developers just keep making it better and better with frequent updates and releases. There are too many features to discuss in this review but Contractor Foreman provides many day-to-day solutions to operational challenges that we were facing as our company has grown to 50 employees and revenues of $30m+. The support is personalized and amazing. For the price, there is not a better product on the market.

I’m a project manager for a commercial roofing company and I’ve found this software to be very helpful in how we conduct business. It’s not flawless but they respond to any problems immediately and effectively! I’m very impressed with the consistent problem solving and software training I’ve received from their support staff. Overall I’m pleased with the purchase.

After trying, demoing, over 13 project management systems for the construction industry came across contractor foreman. It checked the boxes for us a small painting contractor expanding into other areas within the industry.
I would recommend contractor foreman price point, support, training (take advantage of) functionality, and constant updates and upgrades!
It has allowed us to cancel tsheets for time tracking. And integrate everything into 1 system.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but when I do, ContractorForeman developers really deserve it. These guys are on there A game all day every day, even on weekends. ContractorForeman is very robust and compared to every other contractors CRM app out there in market, this one is always up-to-date with features and functionality that by far outweighs the competition. Keep listening to our user-feedback, I, and we all, appreciate you listening to us.

The platform has major issues and is missing a lot of features compared to other project management systems. User interface is very mediocre and our clients didn’t like it. Our field crew didn't like it. We are a home builder and remodeler. We tried it out along with a few other systems like Buildertrend and CoConstruct. Decided this wasn’t worth it and spoke to a rep to cancel within the 30 days. They refuse give refund. Read other similar reviews with similar stories. A lot of people had issues like this. It is not a free demo. They are trying to keep more than $1000

We tried the program out and it was not a good fit for a few reasons. People were fine and support was responsive but it was not a good fit. We moved on from it and took a loss on the subscription we paid for. Last month we get a charge for around $675 on my credit card and the company refuses to refund the amount. We were not notified or contacted that they were going to charge us for another year and now we need to battle to try to get back this hard earned money that they are stealing away from us. Bad business to treat customers like this to scam them out of money.

ContractorForeman has tons of flaws:

- making an estimate is so hard it’s ridiculous, first of all every time I go to add and save an item it freezes and I have to close app and restart the whole section. Secondly ContractorForeman just jumps around on its own.

- getting around ContractorForeman is tough and many things are so hidden you can’t find them. I need to be able to access my stuff fast and easy out in the field.

- time cards freezes and it doesn’t save. My employees are complaining about this and it’s quite frustrating. I got this to make things easier.

I love the concept, I love the price, I’m going to use it, I just need it to be more user friendly. I have been around app developers and testing, and I understand the process. I just need this to be much quicker. Building a quote just takes too long.

I have had the opportunity to use ContractorForeman with my company Disaster Plus now for about 2 years and we love it! We use it everyday for clocking in and keeping track of all our projects. I’m able to create job notes daily to keep track of man hours materials used etc. I highly recommend ContractorForeman for all types of business!

Contractor foreman is quite possibly the best project management software for the price. It is extremely easy to use, it is clean and straight forward without any bloat to it. We have been using it for 2 months and cannot understand how we have lived without it. We have over 100 employees who will be integrated into this.

So many good features but I’ve had multiple crashes in the middle of adding data like to dos. So many other annoying bugs which I will let their developers know about, but they should be doing more testing.

It could really use some streamlining for common operations too. Going to keep using it for now.

Contractor Foreman has been a huge help in helping our small business grow and be more productive. The easy to use interface makes it quick to get familiar with all the wonderful features. The daily time sheets and daily logs are the most essential features for any contractor.

ContractorForeman is just what we needed to improve communication between the field and the office. It is intuitive and easy to use. It has a robust set of features that enable us to have information at our fingertips. It is easy to use and the learning curve is nil. The cost is very affordable.

Great app , would’ve been one of the best if it has the items prices built in. I think they should team up with Home Depot, or Lowe’s , connect the apps together , you can pick real times prices and actually know availability. That would be great for renovation and remodeling small to medium projects.

This has been a really good choice for our business! For the price it does so much and I love that we have been able to see our suggestions implemented in the changes and improvements they are constantly making!

ContractorForeman has most of the desktop features making it a valuable tool in the field and on the go. It is laid out in easy to use way.

We have been using this and with 4 crews it simplifies the day to day challenges of keeping time and knowing what work has been done in real time. We love the customer service and the ability to make changes as we need them.

We are one of those companies that has been holding onto Excel for far too long and finally gave this a shot since the price is so low. We are still learning it but it has been much easier to use than I expected.

ContractorForeman did not offer what I needed. I had customer support consistently follow up but I never got a email I would be charged. The have on their website 100 day guarantee and a 30 trial period. Like most companies they send you a reminder you bill will be due, or ur trial is ending. Not this company. I think they hope ppl forget so they can keep your money. There are other apps that are a little more forgiving that I would give my business too.
